East Coast Railway Tender

Cutting of masonary floor/walls at station building/ signal goomty/ Gate lodge at a 4 depth of 0.5 mtr. to 1.0 mtr at places to be indicated by site Engineer for entering of cables inside thebuilding. Only G.I pipes supplied by Railway and all materials as clamps, bolts & nuts as instructed by site Engineer supplied by tenderer. This includes repairing of masonary floors/walls after the cables are taken inside. Cement, Sand required for the work shall be supplied by the tenderer and also transportation of G.I Pipe from Store by the tenderer.

Laying of signalling/4 Quad/ 6 quad/ power cable/ telecom cables/ Jelly filled cables of all sizes in excavated trench, through GI/RCC/DWC pipes etc. wherever required. This includes transportation of cables from the stores at TIG to work site and transportation of empty cable drums 5 with left over cables from side to the stores at TIG. The length of cable laid includes the length of cable coil for termination purpose. NOTE:1. The cables are to be carefully handled during loading, un- loading and transportation to work site. Any damage found in the cable after final testing, in view of mishandling of cables, shall be made good by the tenderer. Cable should be meggered before and after laying and recorded in a register and submitted to the site Engineer. NOTE:2. 6 quad cable is transported from the store at SBP.

Transportation, excavation of pit, casting of foundation, plastering and erection of Steel Apparatus case (full size) with fixing of E-Type lock, wiring, cable entry, termination clamping, filling cable pit with sand, painting and lettering etc., as per Drg.No. S&T/CON/SK/16. This includes earth work and/or masonry work required for securing the apparatus case as per site condition. Railway will supply apparatus case with 'E' type lock only from Railway stores at. Tenderer will supply all wiring materials, PBT Terminals, fuses, fuse blocks, bus bars, hylum sheet ISI mark [6mm 6 thickness], wood plank board of good quality [minimum 3/4" thick, Cement and transport all the materials to site of work at his own cost. The wiring materials such as wire coils, PBT terminals, fuses, fuse block, etc. should be used from RDSO approved sources. 1) Modifiaction of inside arrangement of Apparatus cases if required for fixing of relays/transformers etc. shall be done by the contractor. Extra shelf, if any, shall be deposited to the Railway stores by the contractor. 2) All cables shall be terminated by providing copper eyelet of suitable size. Note:-(i) If location box foundation is available at site 20% of the cost is to be deducted.(ii) 40% payment shall be released after erection of location boxes.

Transportation, excavation of pit, casting of foundation, plastering and erection of Steel Apparatus case (Half size) with fixing of E-Type lock, wiring, cable entry, termination clamping, filling cable pit with sand, painting and lettering etc., as per Drg.No. S&T/Con/BBS/92/90. This includes earth work and/or masonry work required for securing the apparatus case as per site condition. Railway will supply apparatus case with 'E' type lock only. Tenderer shall supply all wiring materials, PBT Terminals, fuses, fuse blocks, bus bars, hylum sheet ISI mark [6mm thickness], wood 7 plank board of good quality [minimum 3/4" thick, cement and any other materials that are required for the work at his own cost. Contractor has to transport all the materials from store at his own cost to the work site. The wiring materials such as wire coils, PBT terminals, fuses, fuse block, etc. should be used from RDSO approved sources. 1) Modifiaction of inside arrangement of Apparatus cases if required for fixing of relays/transformers etc. shall be done by the contractor. Supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of earth electrode (make TATA or Jindal as per Rly. practice) icluding MS flate for signalling equipments on lever frame, appratus case, signal, relay racks, cable termination rack, block instument etc. ( supply & installation of earth electrode as per drawing no. RE/S&T/DRG/Tender/SK/398/04 for apparatus cases, signal post 8 & other equipments as per instruction on earthing of S&T equipment. Laying of earth lead mid steel flat of size 35mmx6mm and fixing of lead MS flat (make TATA/Jindal or Similar) to earth electrode and lever frame,signal post & appratus cases as perDrg. No. CORE/S&T/ALD/SK/591/2008, 592/2008 and 593/2008 respectively and instructions on earthing at S&T equipment and providing cement enclosure for earth electrode as per drawing no. RE/S&T/Sig/Tender/SK/13/85 Alt.A) NOTE: This includes testing of earth value and indicating the same on the Earth enclosure by paint.

Transportation of signal posts for multiple aspect color light signals, complete with signal units, bases, ladders and other fittings, excavation of pit, casting of cement concrete foundation, plastering as per Drg.No Con/SK/T/12, erection and fixing of complete fittings of the 2/3/4 aspect signal/signal posts including termination of cables, wiring, LED fixing, signal testing and 9 focusing. Name plate & marker and all other materials shall be provided by the contractor at his owncost. Required cement shall be supplied by the contractor. Arrangement of Screening to be provided by the contractor if required as instructed by site Engineer. Contractor shall prepare jointly with Railway Engineer at site and submit Signal Sighting report and Signal test report as per approved format of Railway. NOTE: (i) 50 % Payment shall be released after erection of signal post. Balance 50 % shall be released after termination of cable, wiring, painting, testing & focusing of signal. (ii) If foundation is available at site 30% of the cost is to be deducted.

Transportation, installation of point machine on MS plate fixed on wooden/psc/steel sleeper complete with fixing of anti theft arrangement, 'D' Bracket, junction boxes, connection including smithy works involved for ground connection, including rivetting/welding of angle cleats, 10 termination of cables. Preliminary adjustment for operation of points by crank handle. oiling, greasing, painting and lettering as required. This also includes supply and fixing telescopic arrangement using GI pipes of required dia for provision of wires from junction box to point machine. Railway will supply point machine, ground connection from stores. Tender shall supply all other materials required for the works.The contractor shall overhaul the point machine before installation.

Transportation and fixing of perforated G.I. Pipes on bridges, culverts, drains or in trenches as per instruction of site Engineer with clamps at 1.5 mts. interval on steel girder bridges or at places advised by site Engineer. This includes supplying of G.I. Pipes, 80/100/150 mm dia. Specn. No. IS:1239/2004, or latest medium gauge with threaded collars (Make -TATA /JINDAL) by tenderer. 11 This also includes 100 mm thick concreting on GI pipes as required and instructed by site Engineer. The Bridge fixtures including 100 mm GI channel (minimum 1.2 mtr long) and all other materials required for the work shall be supplied by the tenderer. Note: The G.I. pipe shall be perforated by drilling 7 mm dia holes length wise in zig-zag manner staggered at a distance of 300 mm. G.I. Pipes before and after perforation and bridge fixtures supplied by the tenderer will be inspected by representative of Railway before use. The bridge fixtures will be supplied by tenderer for fixing of GI pipes on girder bridges only. (i) GI pipes of 80mm Dia

Alteration of wiring in existing apparatus cases full/half. This includes supply of all 12 materials in connection with alteration in wiring. All the materials shall be supplied by the contractor at his own cost. This includes entry of cables, sand filling and masonry work involved. Lettering and painting to be done by the contractor at his own cost. Railway shall supply only relays and relay bases.

Transportation of all sorts of Railway Signal & Telecom materials from/to any place in 13 India to/from Railway Stores / Any other store depot including loading, unloading and stacking the same at specified places as directed by the representative of Railway. The rate includes lead, lift, ascent, descent, all taxes, royalty, labour, tools and plants etc. complete.

Concreting (Mix 1:2:4) 200 mm x 200 mm on G.I. Pipes on bridges/ culverts or any other location as specified by the Rly. supervisor. All materials including cement required for the above works are to be supplied by the tenderer.

Fixing of cable route marker as per drawing in" Annexure-Z" at a distance of 100 mtrs. Along the trench and at places where the cable route has taken diversion as per instruction of site 15 Engineer, this includes casting of foundation at site and fixing of the marker in the foundation made earlier at site as per railway directives and specifications, this includes proper curing of the structure, All materials required for this like cement, sand 15 mm chips and steel rod of ISI marks should be supplied by the tenderer.

Transportation, excavation of pit, casting of foundation, plastering and erection of Steel Apparatus case (quater size) with fixing of E-Type lock, wiring, cable entry, termination clamping, etc., as per Drg.No.RE/S&T/Sig/Tender/SK/SA/91. This includes earth work and/or masonry 16 work required for securing the apparatus case as per site condition. Railway will supply apparatus case with 'E' type lock only from Railway stores. Tenderer will supply all wiring materials, PBT Terminals, fuses, fuse blocks, bus bars, hylum sheet ISI mark [6mm thickness], wood plank board of good quality [minimum 3/4"" thick], Cement and transport all the materials to site of work at his own cost. Note:-(i) If location box foundation is available at site 20% of the cost is to be deducted.(ii) 40% payment shall be released after erection of location boxes.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Maintenance free and permanent earth as per RDSO Specification No. RDSO/SPN/197 Version 1.0 and Technical Specification as per 17 Annexure-A. Inspection by RDSO. Material to be supplied from RDSO approved firm only. OEM shall be responsible for Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning of the earthing & bonding system.OEM shall submit commissioning certificate. The warranty of such system shall be 60 months from date of commissioning. During this period, any failure of earthing system due to improper materials & bad workmanship shall be attended free of cost by the OEM.

Casting, transportation and provision of Cement Earth Enclosure to Drg.No.CON/SK/T/9 and CON/SK/T/9A. Painting and writing work to be done after testing of earth value at site. All materials required for this work will be supplied by contractor.

Lifting of Point machine Junction Box along with lead wires and cables as advised by Railway representative.

Termination of insulated flexible wire from TLJB to Rail including making of two holes on rail,supply of insulated flexible wire rope, steel galvanised 7X7 strand , chanel pin, 25 sq mm eye lug & other necessary materials.

Strengthening of foundation of full/ half location boxes, by carrying out the earth work 4 around the foundation, ramming of the earth carrying out masonary work from bottom of earth work using country stones and cement masonary to prevent the earth from slipping down the bank. All the materials for masonary work to be supplied by the contractor. a) for tilting between 0 to 10 degrees 5

Lifting of Track lead junction boxes minimum 6 inches above the rail level.

Re-lettering (Each of 1cm. Height) with synthetic Enamelpaint (one coat) on locationboxes or places advised by siteengineer. Paint should be ofmake Asian, Berger, Nicholsonor similar. Inspection of paintshould be by the representativeof Sr.DSTE/SBP. 7

Supply and filling of Coarse sand (minimum zone III) in location boxes

Printing and supply of maintenance Registers of 200 pages. The register will be as per directives of site engineer. The basic format for the register or sample copy will be provided by Railway for printing.

Hiring of JCB machine (in good condition) for levelling and dressing 1 ground/dismantling structures including disposal of debris through dumpers etc.with contractor's labour, JCBmachine, machine operator, fueletc. The contractor shall arrange road permit for vehicle for all the states of operation asper instruction of engineer-in-charge and vehicle shall not be more than three years old.payment shall be made for actual working hours at site.

Supply of miniature lock E-type with key Drg. No. SA-3376 (M) Alt-2. Specn. No. IRS-S- 10/78 Ward No. details shall be given by Railways. Inspection by representative of Sr. DSTE/SBP.

Supply of bonding wire GI 8 SWG for track circuit bonding as per specn no.IS-279/81. Inspection by representative of Sr.DSTE/SBP.

Supply of insulation set for ground connection for IRS point machine. Inspection by representative of Sr. DSTE/SBP.

Supply of Insulated flexible wire rope steel galvanized 7 X 7x19mm circumterence) for 1 signalling purpase as per IRS Specification No.IRS:S-36/61 Amt-orr latest with tensile breaking strangth between the limit of 95-110 kg/sq.mm and breaking load of 1650 kg (3000 LB), MAKE: MAHADEV INDUSTRIES OR SIMILAR. Inspection by the Representative of Sr. DSTE/SBP.

Switch Plate lubricant - Cenolube 100 or better NLGI 00 GRADE Black colored which should be non asphaltic Non bituminous blend of very heavy oils, inert thickeners and lubricating solids coupled with molybdenum disulfide and graphite with no traces of chlorinated solvent such as 1,1,1 trichloroethane which are flammable and harmful to the environment. Should have a blend of select high viscosity index solvent refined severely hydrofinished paraffin base oils and synthetic base fluids. It should incorporate solid lubricants & organo molybdenum disulphide to fill & lubricate micronized asperities to provide & form many films on the contact surfaces to prevent metal-to-metal contact. It shall be designed to be hand applied providing a tough adherent Lubricant film with Tacky 23 semi-dry finish reducing contaminant adhesion. The grease Should Not form a difficult to remove thick DRY film which requires scrapping & solvent cleaning of Switch Plate specially before reapplication The grease should Not need Cleaning or scrapping before Reapplication. The Grease should be formulated for tropical climates and should not contain pour point depressants and should Not be too thin. The grease shall be Resistant to water wash off & dilution, water insoluble, non-melt and chemically resistant to exposed environment. The grease shall be formulated with Extreme Pressure additives, rust and corrosion inhibitors, anti-wear additives to protect external surfaces against the harsh elements in severe climates, thus reducing rust binding and adhesive wear on switch plates Four Ball Weld LOAD (ASTMD2596) >600 Kg, Copper corrosion 24 hrs @ 100c (ASTM D 4048) 1a -2e packing Size 20 kg /25kg Drum.
