All the material (100%) specified in the following schedule of work to be got checked and signed by the concerned SDE(E)/ JTO (E) before despaching to the respctive site at BSNL Electrical Sub Division/ BSNL Stores, Dimapur. SH-I: Equipment Earthing: General inspection of existing available Equipment Earthing System i/c visit of site with Earth Megger & required tools & hardware like spikes & suitable size 15 & 30 meters range wires etc. i/c Earth resistance measurements& minor maintenance of system with tightening of joints, replacement of warn out nut bolts, wires etc as required. Submission of test result i/c providing First inspection report duly singned by the Site incharge etc. as required.

SH-II PLATE EARTHING: Providing DC equipment earth with 4Nos GI plates by observing the following procedure. a) Digging of earth pit of size 6' x 6' x 10' deep and refilling the same after installing the earth plate system. b) Supplying and installing 4 Nos GI earth plates of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick. c) Drilling holes to the plates, making connections to all the four plates for extending earth using GI bolts and nuts, washers, spring washers, strip etc. d) Supplying and fixing of 50mm x 3mm thick GI strip for interconnecting all the four strips horizontally and diagonally to the plates including drilling holes etc. e) Supplying and filling the following artificial soil treatment materials in the earth pit. Charcoal - 500kgs, saw dust - 50kgs, salt - 20kgs, supplying and filling the balance pit with black cotton soil etc.,as required. f) Providing 1/2" dia Gl water pipe (B-class) of approximately length 10' with suitable GI sheet funnel and mesh with necessary threading etc. g) Providing necessary enclosure for earth pit with cast Iron cover plate having locking arrangement and white washing of the masonry enclosure (Approx. size of masonry enclosure is 30"x30") h) Initial watering of the earth pit, arranging manpower for testing the earth resistance of the earth and furnishing the test results, sign writing and clearing the debries from site, making good etc., as required. i) Earth Value Test report shall be submitted after completion of earth. j)This Quantity is tentative/ indicative and to be executed at site as per the instructions of Engineer in Charge based on the space availability and soil condition.

Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm G.I. strip on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required.
