Cell filled Cement Concrete Pavement
Construction of plastic Cell filled cement concrete pavementwith M30 grade concrete of required thickness as per design over a properly prepared and cambered Sub base having CBR value not less than 20 with 53 grade cement (OPC) or any other type as per clause 1501.2.4 of Specification for Rural Roads. Coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383 alongwith cement are to be mixed in a concrete mixer having capacity not less than 0.2 cum and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design as per IRC44-2088. Concrete shall preferably having a slump of about 30 to 50mm with use of approved plasticizer if required. Formwork of plastic cells shall be made out of High Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE) sheets having thickness ranging from 0.18 to 0.22 mm with sides 150mmX150mm and height as fixed by Engineer in Charge and to be laid/poured for full width of carriageway. Iron spikes of about 200mm long are to be used to keep the cell walls taut. Nylon threads may be used to prevent collapse of cell walls during placement of concrete. Iron spikes are taken out for use in other places as soon as the concrete is filled into the place. Nylon threads may also taken out after placement of concrete. The sub base should be provided with stone/concrete block or brick on end edge shall be laid on either sides of the carriageway projecting above the sub base with full thickness of the concrete pavement for its confinement and protection. The concrete should be well compacted with use of plate vibrator and finished in continuous operation and should be cured for at least 14-days for achieving proper strength including lighting, guarding, barricating etc. complete.

Providing and fixing of Citizen's Information Board for PMGSY Project with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Two MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and bottom plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5m size on back on edges. The plates will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frames of the plates will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 600mm x 600mm x 750mm, 750mm below ground level. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as perdrawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1
