Pack grout filling the internal porous cavities greater than depth of 30cm and upto 1 metre deep in the UCR masonry: Treating the internal cavities greater than a depth 30cm and upto 1 metre deep in the masonry using injection pressure grouting to reduce the porosity of the masonry by drilling hole of 12.5 mm/25mm dia and 200mm deep and fixing PVC nozzles in triangular pattern Minimum 3 nos of PVC nozzles shall be fixed per m2 of the upstream area for grouting. Grouting the deep cavities inside the masonry joint using Poly cementatious materials or equivalent having High strength, quick setting, zero shrink cementatious grout/ along with plasticized, expanding-non shrink grout admixture under required consistency by using 40 psi grouting pump. The grouting material shall give a minimum compressive strength of 35N/mm2 in 28 days when cube tested. All works Complete using all relevant safety equipment’s with all lead and lifts complete as per specification including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, electricity, scaffolding, hanging platform, pulleys ,hire charges of cranes, curing, all relevant safety equipment’s, insurance charges, transportation with all leads and lifts and any other incidental charges as directed by Project Manager.{Work will be measured and paid based on weight of cement and cementitious mixture (without water) used}

Carrying out treatment at vertical Block joints as detailed below : 1.Racking out the Block Joint/ Contraction Joint material completely upto a depth of minimum 150mm from U/S to remove the deteriorated existing system and thoroughly cleaning the surface of the joint to remove all the loose particles, fungus and scale formation by using Air blower & Water jetat pressure. 2. Insertion of compressible Hydrophilic material -To be pushed into contraction joint from upstream side of dam and sealed by inserting compressible hydrophilic backup material which fits into the groove completely. Hydrophilic material shall be filled to a depth of minimum 100 mm. 3. Filling the joint by Polyurethane Sealant material upto and above the upstream surface level starting from the finished hydrophilic material surface. 4. Application of Adhesive and fixing minimum 2mm thick and minimum 150mm wide water resistant, UV resistant TPE(Thermo plastic elastomer)/EPDM based joint tape designed for water tightness of expansion and construction joints whichever as specified by the Project Manager on upstream surface of the Contraction joint. 5. Fixing of minimum 2mm thick Aluminium strips 150mm wide for anchoring TPE/TPO/EPDM (Geomembrane material) to U/s face of dam with the help of fasteners, approved by the Project Manager, placed 500mm c/c on each side of the strip to protect the treatment, by deploying expert labours having experience of working on dam structures by using latest machines, tools and all safety equipments as directed by the Project Manager, inclusive of charges for all materials, scaffoldings, electricity, labour, tools, hanging platform, pulleys, insurance and plants etc. complete.
