Item No.3- Excavation in hard rock of all toughness by breaker including boulders above 0.6m dia. (0.113Cum) minimising damage to side slopes of excavation and placing the excavated rock neatly in approved dump area including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, levelling bed etc., complete including necessary dewatering with all other extra arrangement required for dewatering etc including all leads and lifts complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.4-Providing steel anchor dowel bars of 32 mm diameter and 4 m length at the base of the well including drilling holes of 60 mm diameter up to 2.5 m depth in rock, placing the dowels in position and effectively grouting the holes with CM 1:1 etc. complete including necessary dewatering with all other extra arrangement required for dewatering including all leads and lifts etc complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.5- Providing and laying in situ cement concrete of grade M-15 of trap / granite / gneiss/ quartzite/ graded metal for foundation and bedding by Batching Plant & Transit Mixer including shuttering, scaffolding, placing, compacting, curing including dewatering etc. complete with all lifts as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. M-15 (40 MSA)

Item No.6--Providing and laying in situ cement concrete of grade M-20 of trap / granite / gneiss/ quartzite/ graded metal for RCC works of RCC works of abutment, wingwalls, returns, transition walls, piers, columns, beams and slabs, diaphram walls, road slabs trough (BoxCulvert) trough for aqueduct, wearing coat,etc. with Batching Plant and Transit mixer including shuttering, scaffolding, placing, compacting, curing including dewatering etc. complete including necessary dewatering with all other extra arrangement required for dewatering etc including all leads and lifts etc complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

i) abutment/ retaining walls/ wing walls/ Transition walls M-20 (40 MSA)

ii) For Piers M-20 (20 MSA)

Item no. 7- Providing and laying in situ cement concrete of grade M-25 of trap / granite / gneiss / quartzite / graded metal for RCC works of gallery, sluice, spillway crest, spillway down stream face, energy dissipating structures, intake structures, training walls, piers, abutments, slab etc. with Batching Plant and Transit mixer including centering, shuttering, scaffolding, placing, compacting, curing etc. complete with all lifts etc. complete as directed. (a) M-25 (20 MSA) (Cement 7.62 bags/Cum)

Item No.8- Providing and fixing in position TMT-FE-500 bar reinforcement of various diameters for R.C.C. pilecaps, footings, foundations, slabs, beams columns, canopies, staircase, newels, chajjas, lintels pardis, copings, fins, arches etc. as per detailed designs, drawings and schedules. including cutting, bending, hooking the bars, binding with wires or tack welding and supporting as required complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.9- Dismantling R.C.C works and removing the stuff to a distance of 15 m and all lifts including stacking etc.complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.10- Providing and constructing 150mm thick Quarry Spalls of approved trap stone quality of specified thickness from approved source including cost of all materials,labour,machinary etc.complete with all lead and lifts as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.11- Providing and constructing 150 mm thick unscreened/screened sand layer from approved source including cost of all materials, labour,machinary etc.complete with all lead and lifts as directed.by Engineer-in-Charge a)unscreened sand layer

Item No.12-Back filling the trenches using available material from excavation in layers not exceeding 300mm, each layer shall be compacted by watering and ramming with out disturbing the pipe line with excavated stuff, including breaking of clods of soil etc complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge (The back filling on the two side sof the pipe line should be carried out simultaneously)

Item No.13-Providing and constructing 300mm thick dry rubble stone pitching with pin headers at 2 per sqm using stones and stone chips from approved source including cost of all materials, labour, machinary, handpacking/ wedging stone chips, finishing etc., complete including all leads and lifts complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.14-Providing and constructing contraction joints by fixing 310mm wide central bulb type approved quality PVC water stop in two lines with 8mm diameter Steel dowel rods on either side at 1m interval, forming 125*125 size groove in between 2 water stops for filling asphalt, fixing 15mm dia. two legged G.I.pipe with U-bend at bottom for circulating steam at interval and forming 150mm diameter formed drain behind water seals including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, filling as phalt in groove, circulation of steam at intervals, vulcanizing water seal joints etc. complete including all leads and lifts etc complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.15-Providing and laying weep holes of 100mm diameter PVC pipes as per drawing for abutment returns, returnwalls etc. Complete including all leads and lifts complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.16- Providing railing of mild steel angle post 2.0m center to center of section 75mmx75mmx10mm or equivalent I/C section of height 1.05 above bridge surface with minimum anchor length of 30cm including hold fast of 25mm diameter MS bar welded at the bottom and concreting of 1:3:6 of size 30cm x 30cm x 30cm with three rows of 40mm B-class GI pipe provided at 30cm on center to center including scaffolding and one coat of anticorrosive paint with two coats of oil painting, curing of concrete etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.17- Drilling 52-57 mm dia grout holes by percusson drilling equipment through masonry /rock in stages as directed including cleaning and flushing the drilled holes, conveyance of all materials and equipments for all other ancillary etc complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.18-Providing & injecting cementatious grout as per specification in the drilled holes at required pressure including supplying, conveying cement, microsilica, flyash, admixtures (Accelerator, Binder, Super plasticizer) ,grouting machinery with packer system complete. as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.19-Providing Hearting embankment selected impervious material from approved borrow areas (Private land -contractor's own material) in layers including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, all other operations such as collection of soil, spreading soil in layer of specified thickness, sortingout, breaking clods, levelling, sectioning edges /sides, watering, compacting each layer to density control of not less than 95 % of Proctor density using vibratory compactor including cost of water etc.,complete including necessary dewatering with all other extra arrangement required for dewatering etc including all leads and lifts etc complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.20- Providing hearting embankment using selected impervious material available directly from excavation in layers including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, all other operations such as collection of material, spreading soil in layer of specified thickness, sorting out, breaking clods, levelling, sectioning edges / sides, watering, compacting each layer to density control of not less than 95% of Proctor density using vibratory compactor including cost of water etc.complete, including all leads and lifts and all lifts as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.21- Providing Casing embankment using selected pervious material available directly from excavation in layers including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, all other operations such as collection of material, spreading material in layer of specified thickness, sorting out, breaking clods,levelling, sectioning edges / sides, watering,compacting each layer to density control of not lessthan 95 % of Proctor density using vibratory compactorincluding cost of water etc. complete including necessary dewatering with all other extra arrangement required for dewatering etc including all leads and lifts etc complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.22-Providing casing embankment using selected pervious material from approved borrow areas (Private land-contractor's own material) in layers including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, all other operations such as collection of soil, spreading soil in layer of specified thickness, sorting out, breaking clods, levelling, sectioning edges/ sides, watering, compacting each layer to density control of not less than 95 % of Proctor density using vibratory compactor including cost of water etc., complete including necessary dewatering with all other extra arrangement required for dewatering etc including all leads and lifts etc complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.23- Providing R.C.C .pipe 900 mm dia.of NP3 class conforming to IS458 2003 of following diameter including cost of all material and labour required, inspection charges, transportation to stores, transit insurance, loading, unloading and stacking excluding GST levied by GOI and GOM in all respect etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Item No.24- Laying and jointing R.C.C. pipe 900 mm dia. of NP3 class or IRC standard in C.M. 1:2, proportion by volume including cost of all materials (excluding pipes and collars), labour, aligning pipes, batching and mixing mortar, packing joints with hemp and mortar, finishing, curing etc. complete with all lifts as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Item No.25- Providing and constructing 0.50 m thick vertical or inclined graded filter media consisting of 150mm thick sand layers and 200mm thick 20mm down coarse approved clean, hard, graded aggregates satisfying specified filter criteria in layers of specified thickness including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, laying to required slopes, compaction etc., complete as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.26-Providing and laying rubble soling below foundation in layers including filling with rubble chips, murum etc. complete with leads & lifts as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Item No.27-VERTICAL LIFT BARRAGE GATE EMBEDMENT -Manufacturing, Erection, Commissioning & Testing Manufacturing, Erection, & Testing of V.L Barrage Gate including Manufacturing with QAP, fabrication,erection, commissioning & testing as per standard drawing / approved drawings & Specifications with relevant IS codes mentioned in drawing. All materials used shall conformed to related IS Codes. It includes all materials, Labour charges, machining and machinery charges, with leads & lifts at site etc complete as per drawings and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Item No.28-Providing earth work in embankment with approved materials obtained from departmental land upto lead of 50m. including all lifts,laying in layers of 20cm. to 30cm. thickness breaking clods, dressing to the required lines, curves, grades & section, watering and compaction with vibratory roller to achieve not less than 97 % of standard proctor density etc. complete as per specifications with leads & lifts as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Material obtained from departmental Land)

Item No.29- Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting with Vibratory roller. to the required density. By Mechanical Means - Grading I (Using Screening Type A (13.2) mm Aggregate) as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.30--Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting with vibratory roller to the required density. By Mechanical Means - Grading II (Using Screening Type B (11.2 mm) Aggregate) as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.31-Providing rubble filling of trap/ granite/ quartzite gneiss stones for foundations including hand packing filling gravel / sand in the voids etc. complete.as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.32-Providing and laying in situ / ready mix cement concrete of M-10 proportion with trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss metal in foundation including necessary form work, compacting and curing etc. complete as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-Charge (with reversible drum type mixer/ concrete batch mix plant (pan mixer)) without SCADA with Natural / VSI standard Artificial Sand)

Item No.33-Providing and laying cement concrete pipe of IS 458:2003 NP-3 class of 900mm diameter in proper line, level and slope including providing and fixing collars in cement mortar 1:2 and curing etc. complete as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.34-Providing selected hard murum filling including laying in layers of 15 to 20cm with watering and compacting etc complete as per specifications with leads & lifts as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.35-Providing and fixing stream lined M20 grade RCC guard stone including mild steel bar reinforcement etc. complete as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

II) Mechanical Portion

Item No.36 -VERTICAL LIFT BARRAGE GATE LEAF / STOP LOG GATE LEAF - Manufacturing, Erection, Commissioning & Testing Manufacturing with QAP, fabrication, erection, commissioning & testing of Gate leaf of V.L. Barrage gate & stoplog gate Consisting of following parts. Gate Leaf, Horizontal girder, Guide roller assembly, Roller Assembly & dogging beam. All material used shall conformed to related IS Codes. Mild steel confirming to IS 2062.The tolerances between Components & assembly Shall confirm to IS 4623.the fits and tolerances between the bronze bushing & hub shall be H7r6 (Interference fit) & with pin shall be H7f7 (Clearance fit) and for antifriction bearings with hub shall be H7 (Interference) & antifriction bearing with pin shall be r6 (Interference) as per IS 4623. Other Material includes C.S. (IS1030), Brass (IS 28), P. Bronze (IS 305), Al. Bronze (IS 318), S.S. (IS 6911), Rubber seal (IS 11855), Welding electrodes (AWS E6013 for general weld joints & E7018 for X ray quality weld joints). It includes all materials, Labour charges, machining and machinery charges, 1km lead charges of transportation, loading and unloading charges of Gate parts at Site, Inspection & Quality control charges, Sand blasting, Painting with one coat of Zinc rich primer on dry film to give total dry film thickness 70 +/- 5 microns and 2 coats of sloventless coal tar epoxy paint applied to give minimum dry film thickness of 150+/- 5 micron per coat as per IS 14177,The embedment & gate assembly shall be reasonably water tight, the maximum permissible leakage being not more than 5 liters/min/m length of seal. etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.37 -PYLON STRUCTURE - Manufacturing, Erection, Commissioning & Testing Manufacturing with QAP, fabrication, erection, commissioning & testing of Pylon Structure including walkway & staircase. All materials used shall confirmed to related IS Codes. Mild steel used for manufacturing shall conform to IS 2062. Welding electrodes (AWS E6013 for general weld joints & E7018 for X ray quality weld joints). It includes all materials, Labour charges, machining and machinery charges, 1km lead charges of transportation, loading and unloading charges of Gate parts at Site, Inspection & Quality control charges, Sand blasting, Painting with one coat of Zinc rich primer on dry film to give total dry film thickness 70 +/- 5 microns and 2 coats of sloventless coal tar epoxy paint applied to give minimum dry film thickness of 150+/- 5 micron per coat as per IS 141 etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.38 -Rope Drum Hoist Without Hoist Bridge :-Manufacturing, Erection, Commissioning & Testing. Manufacturing with QAP, fabrication, erection, Commissioning & Testing with 125 % of rated capacity of Rope Drum Hoist consisting of central drive unit gear train frames, rope drums, gears, pinions, shafts, 3 phase electric motor, brake, reduction gear box, wireropes, gate position indicators, manual operation arrangement, ICTP main switch, electric starter, etc. All material used shall conformed to related IS Codes specified in IS 6938. Above item covers Mild steel confirming to IS 2062. the fits and tolerances between the bronze bushing & hub shall be H7r6 (Interference fit )& with pin shall be H7f7 (Clearance fit) and for antifriction bearings with hub shall be H7 (Interference) & antifriction bearing with pin shall be r6 (Interference ) as per IS 4623. Other Material includes C.I (IS 210), C.S (IS1030), P. Bronze (IS 305), Al. Bronze (IS 318), S.S (IS 6911), Wire rope (IS 2266), Wire rope sockets (Is 2485), 3p S4 duty Induction Motor (IS 325), Reduction gear box ( IS 7443), Welding electrodes(AWS E6013 for general weld joints.& E7018 for X ray quality weld joints ).It includes all materials, Labour charges, machining and machinery charges, 1km lead charges of transportation, loading and unloading charges of Gate parts at Site, Inspection & Quality control charges, Sand blasting, Painting with one coat of Zinc rich primer on dry film to give total solventless coal tar epoxy paint applied to give dry film thickness of 70+/- 5 microns and 2 coat of minimun dry thickness 150+/- 5 micron per coat as per IS 14177. etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.39 HOIST BRIDGE - Manufacturing, Erection, Commissioning & Testing Manufacturing with QAP, fabrication, erection, commissioning & testing of Hoist Bridge. All materials used shall confirmed to related IS Codes. Mild steel used for manufacturing shall conform to IS 2062. Welding electrodes (AWS E6013 for general weld joints & E7018 for X ray quality weld joints). It includes all materials, Labour charges, machining and machinery charges, 1km lead charges of transportation, loading and unloading charges of Gate parts at Site, Inspection & Quality control charges, Sand blasting, Painting with one coat of Zinc rich primer on dry film to give total dry film thickness 70 +/- 5 microns and 2 coats of sloventless coal tar epoxy paint applied to give minimum dry film thickness of 150+/- 5 micron per coat as per IS 14177 etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Item No.40 -Operation and Maintenance of Vertical Lift type Gates , Stoplog gates and Hoisting arrengements after satisfactory completion of erection including all tests and trial every year for three years including maintenance of all Gate component before mansoon as required and operation of Gates while monsoon for storing water in barrage including replecement of any parts if necessary and retification of any components if required in view of smooth operation of Gates as directed by engineer incharge including cost of all consumables and maintance of approch road etc.Complete.etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge Assumption :- Operation and Maintence Charge at 0.35% of Total cost of mechnical portion of Gates.
