The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the execution of civil engineering works. The bidder must have completed at least one similar type of work during the last 5 years with a value not less than 80% of the Estimate cost. Alternatively, the bidder must have completed at least two similar type of works during the last 5 years, each with a value not less than 50% of the Estimate cost. Or, the bidder must have completed at least three similar type of works during the last 5 years, each with a value not less than 40% of the Estimate cost. The bidder should have experience in works involving labor, material components, and price variation clauses, including general escalation and special rises in bitumen, steel, and cement prices. The value of existing commitments and ongoing works should be provided, along with the stipulated period of completion remaining for each work. The amount of liquidated damages for delay in completion of works is mentioned as 1% of the initial contract price per day, with a maximum limit of 10% of the initial contract price. The amount of liquidated damages for the whole of the work is 12,000 per day. The bidder should also provide an estimated cost put to tender and information on the value of existing commitments and ongoing works, supported by an attested copy of the Annual Audit Report, certified by a Chartered Accountant.
