Cutting of branches of trees and shrubs from the road way or with in R.O.W including disposal of wood and leaves to suitable location etc. complete

Repair to pot holes and removal of loose material, trimming of sides, cleaning of surface by providing tack coat, 20 mm thick pre-mix carpet and seal coat as per MORTH specification clause 3004.1 and 3004.2

Dismantling brick masonry in lime or cement mortar and stacking the materials as directed with all leads, lifts etc.

Removing lime or lean cement concrete including stacking the spoils as directed with all leads, lifts etc, complete.

Removing the existing cement plaster of any thickness without causing dust nuisance and stacking the debris upto a distance of 50 metres or spreading in the compound and cleaning the site etc. complete.

Removing Manglore tiled roof and ridge tiles with battens, ridge and barge boards, eaves 8 A boards etc and sacking the materials as directed with all leads and lifts complete. Including removing wood work below etc. complete.

Removing ventilators and small windows with frame and stacking the materials with all leads, lifts etc. complete.

Dismantling of existing B.T. Surface (flexible Pavement) to a depth of 50 mm. manually including loading of dismantled material to transport vehicle at site excluding lead charges

Removing pointing and other epoxy-based hard material from joints and surface area of Basalt stone masonary manually with chisel and hammer or with the help of electric grinders wherever directed by Engineer In charge. Proper care should be taken not to damage the stone during removal.

Dewatering on BHP basis by using water pump including diversion of stream, providing cofferdams, earthern bunds etc. as may be necessary for foundation and other parts of the the works and pumping out water during and after excavation as may be required by using 5.0 to 9.0 BHP pump etc. complete. (prior approval of Superintending Engineer will be necessary)

Desilting the Supply Well, Intake Well / Head Works, Sump of water supply / sewerage works etc. in wet or dry condition including lifts upto 9 M and lead upto 150 M as required beyond the work site, stacking, spreading, including necessary guarding, etc. complete, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation for foundation in hard murum including removing the excavated material upto distance of 50 metres beyond the building area and stacking and spreading as directed, dewatering, preparing the bed for the foundation and necessary back filling, ramming, watering including shoring and strutting etc. complete. (Lift upto 1.50 m) By Manual Means

Disposing of dismantling materials of R.C.C./ Stone / brick masonry / debries, excavated material / soil / murum / rubbish material or vegetation / grass / shrubs etc., from work site beyond the 15 km.

Providing soling using 80 mm size trap metal in 15 cm. layer including filling voids with Crushed sand/grit, ramming, watering etc. complete.

Providing antitermite treatment around the periphery of the existing building as per I.S. 6313 (Part-III) by excavating trenches of 20cm width and exposing the sides of columns and plinth beams upto a depth of 300mm and injecting one percent of chlorodane emulsion concentrate at the rate of 2.25 litres per One Running Metre and refilling the trenches etc. complete covering 2 years guarantee on bond paper.

Providing antitermite treatment to the sides of flooring of the existing building as per I.S. 6313 (Part-III) by punching holes 6mm dia. drilled at a distance of 30cm. centre to centre and injecting one percent of chlorodane emulsion concentrate at the rate of 50 ml per hole and sealing by filling putty etc. complete covering 2 years guarantee on bond paper.

Providing antitermite treatment to the joints of wooden beams/joist used for the roof work of the existing building as per I.S. 6313 (Part-III) by drilling 6mm dia. holes at a downward angle of about 45 degree at the junction of wood work and masonary and injecting 80 ml. of chlorodane 5% W.C. and sealing by filling putty etc. complete covering 2 years guarantee on bond paper.

Providing general pest control services to the building to control the nuisance of cockroaches, lizards, pin bores and other insects etc. with 4 operations in a year and monthly check up.

Providing Lime Pointing to stone work in lime mortar 1:1 in superstructure, as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including all face or visible work shall be pointed, unless otherwise specified and shall be done while the mortar is fresh, the mortar shall consists of lime and fine sand shall not be ground fine but sand should be finer, the joints of the pointed work shall be neatly defined by the pointing, the lines shall be regular and uniform in breadth and the joints shall be raised or flat as may directed, preparing the lime mortar with 640 gram pulp of wood apple (Belfruit) per cubic metre of lime mortar as a bonding material, scaffolding, watering and all work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete

Providing and laying cast in situ 1:2:4 Lime Concrete of trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss metal for foundation and bedding as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including bailing out water, centring, formwork, laying/pumping, compacting, roughening them if special finish is to be provided, finishing if required with fine aggregate, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller and then mixing with coursed aggregate in drum mixer as per specifications including bailing out water, watering etc. complete.

Providing and applying required coats of a water based Evercrete Deep Penetrating Sealer (DPS) on cement concrete surface like roads, beams, and columns, plastered walls, basements, roofs, potable water tanks etc to react with cement and to penetrate concrete structure thereby making it resistant to chemicals / chlorides water to make it dust proof and to act as a water resistant at the same time which Strengthens the treated surface and reduce the curing period etc complete. - Note -- for item One Number 7 to 4 prior approval of Superintending Engineer will be necessary

Providing injection grouting with a slurry of lime and fine screened sand in proportion 1 : 1 with a proper pressurized jet pump, including cleaning, washing and packing the exisitng cracks or holes in the brick or stone masonry properly upwards with the slurry, scaffolding, curing etc. complete

Providing and applying Wacker Chemical ( water base antifungal silicon treatment) on manglore tiles or stone surface.

Providing and fixing Teak wood Eaves Board 79′′ x 5′′ x 1" thick, as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the planks to be best Moulmein teak to be 1" thick and 5" in width, of a uniform colour and planed, the planks to be laid truly parallel to the floor so as to cover the end rows of the tiling and to be fixed with screws of the proper length driven countersunk, all joints to be neat and close, scaffolding etc. complete.

Providing and applying melamine polish of required finish to the wood work by spray machine including knotting and preparing the even surface by scraping, Engineer-in charge. applying French polish , scaffolding if required etc. complete. Note:The work to be executed on prior approval of Superintending Engineer will be necessary.

Providing 10 mm. thick Rough Cast Lime Plaster in single coat in lime mortar 1:1 in superstructure, as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including all joints in masonry and brick work are to be racked out to a depth of at least 20 mm. and the wall to be washed with fresh water and thoroughly wetted for six hours before plastering, the plaster to be applied in an even and uniform coat well pressed in to the joints and to be well beaten for 11⁄2 days with hand tappers, the plaster should also be well sprinkle during the proses of beating with a mixture of 1.10 kg Jaggary and 640 gram pulp of wood apple (Belfruit) in 90 to 135 litre of water, the plaster being wetted occasionally with fresh water while the beating is in progress, all exposed angles and junctions with door frame to be carefully finished, all mouldings shall be worked true to template and drawn neat, clean and level, soffits of arches must true arch of circle, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller with 1.60 kg Gugal (a kind of fragrant gum) and 960 gram chopped hemp (fibre of bhendi or jute) per cubic metre of lime mortar as a bonding material, of lime as a bonding material, scaffolding, watering and all work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.

Providing and fixing Mud / Clay Ridge Tiles as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the best quality Mangalore pattern ridge tiles, sound, thoroughly well-burnt throughout, of regular shape and uniform size, free from twist or other imperfection and must ring clearly when struck, set dry with joints pointed with mortar, the whole being rendered perfectly secure and water-tight and watering etc. complete.

Providing and fixing in position powder coated aluminium louvered windows / ventilator of various sizes with powder coating as per detailed drawing and specifications including aluminium frames 80 x 38 mm x 1.22 mm box type, 5 mm thick sheet glass louvers, of approved quality etc. complete.

Providing Un-coursed Rubble Masonry of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:11⁄2, in superstructure as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones to be set in the work as received from the quarry, after merely knocking off weak corners and edges with the masons hammer, the stones shall be carefully laid so as to break joints, no joint shall exceed 12.5 mm. (1⁄2′′) in thickness, every stone shall be set flush in mortar, the face stone shall be for greater size, and good beds, one through stone shall be inserted at least every 0.80 sq. mete (1 square yard), the joints shall be racked out carefully at least 25 mm. (1′′) where pointing or plastering to be done, striking joints where no pointing or plastering is to be done, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.

Providing Ashlar Fine Masonry of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1 with size of stone 30 cm. x 29 cm. x 15 cm. in superstructure for columns as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, dressing every stones fine tooled on all beds, joints and faces, full true if the surface are plane or to uniform curves or twists if required, the stones shall be set in fine mortar, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (1⁄8′′), the stone shall be laid in regular course not less than 30 cm. (12′′) in height averaging 41⁄2 c. ft., the face stone shall be laid header and stretcher alternately, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.

Providing Coursed Rubble Masonry Second Sort of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:11⁄2, size of stone 20 cm. x 30 cm. x 45 cm. in superstructure as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones shall be laid in horizontal course, the face of the stones to be hammered and bushing not to be project more than 3.8 cm. (11⁄2′′), all stones to be set full in mortar, all side joints shall be vertical and beds horizontal and not joints shall be more than 12.5 mm. (1⁄2′′), the through stones shall be inserted 5 and 6 feet apart in every course, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.

Providing Rectangular Coping Cut-stone First Sort, 20 cm. height and 60 cm. wide of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1½ with size of stone 60 cm x 60 cm x 20 cm. as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind. the stone shall be dressed full or to template, exposed face of the stones shall be fine rough tooled, semi-circular and all joints shall be in line and close and not more than 3 mm. (1/8") thick, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all coping work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc.

Providing and fixing Stone Paving, First Sort in lime mortar 1:1, with size of stone 45 cm. x 30 cm. x 45 cm, as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including all stone slabs to of approved quality, hard, even, sound, durable and uniform thickness, the stones to be very finely chisel-dressed on the surface and the course to be of prescribed width, the joints running true, the stones to be laid with joints not exceeding 6 mm. (1⁄4′′) thick and to be evenly and firmly bedded flush in mortar on the concrete and no hollow left, side to be dressed true and as per shape at least half the depth from the face, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, watering and all paving work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.
