Providing Brick Masonry First Class in superstructure of first quality bricks of size 25 x 15x 5 cm in lime mortar 1:1½, as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the bricks to be of uniform size, moulded on tables, thoroughly well burnt and sound, ringing clearly when stuck with trowel, the bricks to be soaked in water for 12 hours before used, the bricks are to be laid flush in mortar in such bond as directed, as far as possible, bricks of uniform colour are to be selected for the face work when it is not to be plastered, the joints are not to exceed 9.5 mm.
