Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/structure, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works.

Dismantling stone masonry in lime or cement mortar including stacking the materials as directed with all leads, lifts etc.

Numbering the monument elements in proper order before lowering down with approved colour and shade as directed by Engineer in-charge, including ladder, scaffolding etc. complete.

Lowering down carefully existing stone masonry of the monument manually in proper order including shifting the stone elements up to a distance of 50 meter beyond the monument area and stacking them as directed by Engineer in-charge, removing building rubbish and cleaning the site etc. complete.

Shifting of existing collapsed stone members manual lite pillars, stone beam, stone karnasillass stone cap and other temple members in dry masonry including lifting, stones manually and striking lowering stone in proper order, numbering as directed by engineer incharge etc complete .(for lowering of any shape and size of columns, pedastals, bracket, beams, chajjas, karnashilla caps, other stone members of stone wall, etc.)

Excavation for foundation in earth, soil of all types, sand gravel and soft murum, including removing the excavated material upto a distance of 50 m beyond the building area and stacking and spreading as directed, deatering, preparing the bed for the foundation and necessary backfilling, ramming, watering including shoring and strutting, etc. complete. (Lift upto 1.5 m to 3.0m.) By Mechanical Means

Excavation for foundation in Hard murum and boulders including removing the excavated material upto a distance of 50 metres, beyond the building area stacking and spreading as directed, dewatering, prepapring the bed for the foundation and necessary back filling, watering, ramming including shoring and strutting etc. complete. (Lift upto 1.5m to 3.0m). By Mechanical Means

Compacting the hard murum side widths including laying in layers on each side with vibratory roller including artificial watering etc. complete.

Providing soling using 80 mm size trap metal in 15 cm. layer including filling voids with Crushed sand/grit, ramming, watering etc. complete.

Providing and laying cast in situ 1:2:4 Lime Concrete of trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss metal for foundation and bedding as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including bailing out water, centring, formwork, laying/ pumping, compacting, roughening them if special finish is to be provided, finishing if required with fine aggregate, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller and then mixing with coursed aggregate in drum mixer as per specifications including bailing out water, watering etc. complete.

Providing preconstructional antitermite treatment as per I.S. 6313 (Part-II) by treating the bottom surface and sides of excavation at the rate of 5 litres of emulsion concentrate of 1.0 percent of chlorophyrifos per square meter of surface area covering 10 years guarantee on bond paper.

Providing/Re-setting Ashlar Fine Masonry of reuse-stones in lime mortar 1:1 in superstructure as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones shall be set in fine mortar, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (⅛″), the stone shall be laid in regular course, the face stone shall be laid header and stretcher alternately, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.

Providing Ashlar Fine Masonry of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1 with Average size of stone 0.6m x 0.45m x 0.23m in superstructure as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones be of approved quality, colour, hard and free from defect of any kind, dressing every stones fine tooled on all beds, joints and faces, full true if the surface are plane or to uniform curves or twists if required, the stones shall be set in fine mortar, the beds or joints being in no case more than 3 mm. (⅛″), the stone shall be laid in regular course not less than 30 cm. (12″) in height averaging 4½ c. ft., the face stone shall be laid header and stretcher alternately, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. Providing/Re-setting Un-coursed Rubble Masonry of reuse-stones in lime mortar 1:1½, in superstructure (Core filling) as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones shall be carefully laid so as to break joints, no joint shall exceed 12.5 mm. (½″) in thickness, every stone shall be set flush in mortar, the face stone shall be for greater size, and good beds, one through stone shall be inserted at least every 0.80 sq. mete (1 square yard), the joints shall be racked out carefully at least 25 mm. (1″) where pointing or plastering to be done, striking joints where no pointing or plastering is to be done, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.

Providing Un-coursed Rubble Masonry of trap / granite stones in lime mortar 1:1½, in superstructure (Core filling) as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including the stones to be set in the work as received from the quarry, after merely knocking off weak corners and edges with the masons hammer, the stones shall be carefully laid so as to break joints, no joint shall exceed 12.5mm. (½″) in thickness, every stone shall be set flush in mortar, the face stone shall be for greater size, and good beds, one through stone shall be inserted at least every 0.80 sq. mete (1 square yard), the joints shall be racked out carefully at least 25 mm. (1″) where pointing or plastering to be done, striking joints where no pointing or plastering is to be done, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, scaffolding, watering and all masonry work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete.

Raking out cement or lime pointing or any other hard material used and repointing to walls externally and internally in lime mortar1:3 (1 lime, 3 sand, mix to be approved by consultants before application) & filling in any holes/damage area of stone that may have to be filled in lime mortar. The cost to include preparation of batches of sample upto 20 samples of colour matched lime mortar for approval by Architect. The contractor to ensure use of making tape and sharp specialzed spatula & tools to ensure clear line and high level of workmanship on site.

Providing Lime Pointing to stone work in lime mortar 1:1 in superstructure, as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including all face or visible work shall be pointed, unless otherwise specified and shall be done while the mortar is fresh, the mortar shall consists of lime and fine sand shall not be ground fine but sand should be finer, the joints of the pointed work shall be neatly defined by the pointing, the lines shall be regular and uniform in breadth and the joints shall be raised or flat as may directed, preparing the lime mortar with 640 gram pulp of wood apple (Belfruit) per cubic metre of lime mortar as a bonding material, scaffolding, watering and all work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete

Providing and Grouting with lime and fine screened sand slurry in proportion (1:1) with a proper jet pump pressure including cleaning and washing and packing the existing crack / holes in the brick or stone masnory with lime and fine sand paste in proporation of (1:1) properly from down side, filling the slurry in cracks or holes including all necessary actions and required tools and machineries, scaffolding, curing, etc. complete.

Cleaning the Stone/ Masonry surfaces with help of chemical treatment with mixture of chemicals such as Liquid Ammonia, Non-ionic detergent, mineral turpentine, sodium gluconate etc. by scraping the surface with brush and making the surfaces even with hand scrapping, and then applying two coats of chemicals such as Wacker BS-290 and Wacker OH 100 for stone preservation with scaffolding etc. complete

Dutchman repairs of stone sections that severely distressed, reinstallation of new Black basalt stone piece to match existing stone as a fascia of minimum 75mm depth of similar colour and texture and size. The size of the stone piece would be approx. of 150 x 300mm. The fixing of the new stone would employ mortar grout and anchoring technique after neatly cutting out damaged stone profile using one of the following tenniques : a) Stainless steel pins of 6mm dia threaded at end. b) Helifix treatment

Disposing of dismantling materials of stone masonry / brick masonry derbies, excavated material / soil / murum / rubblish material or vegetation / grass / shrubs etc. From work site beyond the 15 km.

Providing and fixing 900mm high S.S. 304 Grade Stainless steel railing with 40mm diameter and 1.5mm thick at top, 40mm diameter and 1.5mm thick vertical supports spaced at 1.5m center to center and 8mm thick toughened glass including fabricating fixtures, erecting necessary welding , grinding, finishing, buffing tostainless steel pipe etc. complete

Providing and fixing Stone Paving, Second Sort in lime mortar 1:1½, with size of stone (0.45x0.3x0.15)m. for Plinth Flooring, as per detailed specifications and drawings or as directed including all stone slabs to of approved quality, hard, even, sound, durable and uniform thickness, the stones to be not finely chisel-dressed on the surface and the course to be of prescribed width, true for top 25 mm. (1″), the joints running true, the stones to be laid with joints not exceeding 8 mm. (5/16″) thick and to be evenly and firmly bedded flush in mortar on the concrete and no hollow left, side to be dressed true and as per shape at least half the depth from the face, preparing the lime mortar in lime miller, watering and all paving work when handed over to be perfectly clean and free from all mortar stains etc. complete. (Stone size 0.45x0.30m with thickness 0.15m)

Scinentific debris clearance ( Archaeological Excavation ) to be done manually as per Archaeological principals using sieve as per the direction of the conservation architect / engineer incharge / techinical Assistant of the department if required, all antiquities and historic remains to be classified and dacumentated photograhphically before numbering and storing them in the office.
