The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Additionally, the bidder should have successfully completed a work similar to the proposed work, with a value of not less than 35% of the work to be executed, in the last 5 years. The subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. For subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor shall be asked for. The value of the completed work shall be considered for fulfillment of credentials. In case of completed work, the value of the final bill (gross amount) including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the completion cost of work. In case of substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the completion cost of work. The percentages of similar works completed mentioned are 30%, 40%, 60%, and 35%. The amounts mentioned are 30% of the advertised value of the tender, 40% of the advertised value of the tender, 60% of the advertised value of the tender, and Rs 50 lakh.
