The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work within the last 7 years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the bidder must have completed or substantially completed: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The value of similar works completed is considered, including the Price Variation (PVC) amount. For substantially completed work, payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value must have been made to the contractor. Examples of completed works and their values include: - ALUMINIUM WORK: 70190.25 - CLADDING WORK: 154887.25 - RAIN WATER HARVESTING & TUBEWELLS: 192416.25 A percentage of 18.53 is mentioned, but its reference is unclear. For subcontractors, they must have completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, unless the subletting work costs up to Rs 50 lakh, in which case no prior experience is required.
