The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: 1. Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, 2. Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, 3. One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The similar work is defined as the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Automatic Fire Detection and Alarm System or Automatic Fire Detection Alarm and Suppression System in any government organization or PSUs. Additionally, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 7 years, one similar single work for a minimum of 10% of advertised value of the tender. A substantially completed work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. The value of a completed work done by a member in an earlier JV shall be reckoned only to the extent of the concerned member’s share in that JV. For subcontracting, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subcontracted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work up to ₹50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The bidder should submit a certificate from organizations giving description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of award, and date of scheduled/actual completion of work. The experience certificate should have been issued by an officer not below Junior Administrative Grade. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of the tender - 10% of advertised value of the tender - 90% of the present contract value - 35% of the value of the work to be subcontracted - ₹50 lakh for subletting of work.
