The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed civil engineering works in the last three to five years. The bidder should have a minimum of 75% of the tender amount in terms of similar work experience in the last 5 years. The value of similar works completed should be at least 75% of the tender amount. Additionally, the bidder should have executed in any one year, in the last five years, a minimum quantity of work that is approximately 30% of the tendered quantity. The bidder's experience is also considered in terms of the number of years prescribed for completion of the work. The bidder must provide details of works executed in the interior, backward, and hilly areas during the preceding 5 years, if applicable. The bidder should have completed similar type of work and magnitude of the carried out by the contractor. The bidder must also provide a statement showing the work done in all classes of civil engineering construction works during the last five years. The bid capacity is calculated based on the highest amount of work done in any one year out of the last five years (amount "A") and the total cost of work in hand (amount "B"). The bid capacity is calculated as (A*N*1.5)-B or (A*N*2)-B, where N is a multiplying factor for updating. The bidder should have experience in works costing more than 1.00 Cr (estimated cost put to tender, i.e., work portion + testing + royalty charges). The bidder should also submit details of similar type of work and magnitude carried out by the contractor. The key personnel required for the project include a Project In-charge with a minimum of 10 years of experience, a Resident Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience, a Site Supervisor with a minimum of 2 years of experience, and a Plant/SCADA system supervisor with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The bidder should also submit a list of technical personnel on the rolls of the tenderer, along with their qualifications and experience. The value of similar works completed is approximately 30% of the tendered quantity. The percentage of similar works completed is also approximately 30% of the tendered quantity.
