Water Bound Macadam GrII Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kilonetwon in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405. As directed by engineer in charge.

Construction of penetration macadam over prepared base by providing a layer of compacted crushed coarse aggregate using chips spreader with alternate applications of bituminous binder and key aggregates and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kilonewton static roller to achieve the desired degree of compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 506. ( 50 milimeter thick , Bitumen (S-65) 60/70 - VG-30) .As directed by engineer in charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.225 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.As directed by engineer in charge.

Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site upto a lead of 1000 m laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 504.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 milimeter thickness composed of 13.2 milimeter to 5.6 milimeter aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen (S 65) or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kilonewton static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A as per Technical Specification Clause 508.(20milimeter thick , B59As directed by engineer in charge.

Sign Board of MMGSY / PMGSY Project Information : Providing and fixing of typical retro reflective MMGSY / PMGSY Project informatory sign board with Logo as per section1700 of MORD specifications and latest PMGSY Signage Manual / Circular and drawing. The board will be a composite unit consisting of Three Plates ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel), material specifications as per clause 17001.3. The top most plate will be of 3mm ACP in diamond shape of 600x600mm size, riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size on back on edges. The middle 4mm ACP plate of will be 1200x150mm size riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size on back on edges. The main 4mm ACP lower most plate will be 1500mmx600mm size, riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size. Riveting of all the sheets over angle and flat iron frame will be done neatly to have plain surface on one side. The angle iron frame of lower most plate and flat iron frame of the middle plate will be welded to two nos. 75mm x75mm x 12 swg sheet tubes posts placed at 1125mm apart centre to centre. the top of the middle plate will be flushed with the top of 75mm dia medium steel tube posts and these posts will be embedded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 450x450x600mm below ground level. The height of the bottom of the lower plate will be 1200mm from normal ground level and the bottom of the middle plate will be 100mm above the top level of the lower most plate. the diamond shaped plate mounted over flat angle iron frame will be connected to middle plate by square steel section of 47mmx47mm, thickness 12SWG having a spacing of 100mm between the diamond shaped plate and middle plate and this square section will be riveted to the bottom point of the diamond shaped plate. MMGSY / PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications (Refer Circular no. NRRDA-P013(11)/3/2019-Dir (Tech) dated 02.12.2019). Printing PMGSY Logo/MMGSY Logo/Project description on Class A or Class B type retro reflective sheeting using modern technology printing platform. The printer shall be approved by the retro reflective sheeting manufacturer and printed sign shall conform to retro reflective values as laid down in IRC 67-2012. The inks used for printing shall be eco friendly with VOC emissions complying to UL 2801 standards and specifications for the different kinds of platforms. The printed sign shall be laminated by UV protected laminate and shall carry a warranty of 5 years & 7 years for Class A and Class B sheeting respectively for traffic colors. All the section of the frame and posts shall be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint. The design, painting and lettering shall be done as per the PMGSY Signage Guidelines Fig.2 and as directed by Engineer-In-charge. . A warranty for 5 / 7 years for the Retro reflective sheeting for Class-A and Class-B respectively, from original manufacturer shall be submitted by contractor.

MMGSY / PMGSY Maintenance Information Board- Providing and fixing of typical MMGSY / PMGSY Retro Reflective information board as per section 1700 of MORD specifications and latest PMGSY Signage Manual / Circuler and drawing.The ACP sheets of 3 mm thick, of 1500mmx900 mm size duly rivetted with MS angles of 25 x 25 x 5 mm thick M.S angle. Riveting of all the sheets over angle and flat iron frame will be done neatly to have plain surface on one side. The angle iron frame of the plate will be welded to two nos. 75mm x75mm (12 SWG) sheet tubes posts placed at 1125mm apart centre to centre. These two posts will be embeded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 600x600x750mm below ground level. The height of the bottom of the plate will be 775mm from normal ground level. MMGSY / PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications (Refer Circuler no. A warranty for 5 / 7 years for the Retro reflective sheeting for Class-A and Class-B respectively, from original manufacturer shall be submitted by contractor.

Semi-Reflective Traffic signs Direction and place indentification signs up to 0.9 sqm size board Providing and erecting direction and place identifications of semi reflective sign boards as per IRC:67 made of 2 mm thick M.S. Sheet duly stove enameled paint in white colour in front and grey colour on back with red reflective border of 70 mm width and required message, letters, figures with reflective engineering grade tape as per MORD specifications of required shade and colour. Supported and welded on 47 mm x 47mm of 12 SWG Square tube of 3050 mm height duly strengthened by 25 mm x 5 mm M/s flat iron on edges on back firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1701

S. angle iron post of size 65 mm X 65 mm X 6 mm, 3.45 m long, duly painted with with flat oil paint having alternate black and white bands of 25 cm width including G.I. fixtures etc; fixing the boards in M25 grade concrete block of size 60cm X 60cm X 75cm including transportation etc; complete. Class B ( Type IV High intensity micro-prismatic grade sheeting-HIP) shall have 7 years written warranty from the manufacturer and authorised distributor/convertor issued for field performance including the screen printed areas and cut-out sheeting and cut-out durable transparent overlay film and this warranty certificate in original should be submitted to the Engineer in charge by the contractor/supplier. 750 mm made out of 4mm aluminum composite material with 0.5 mm skin thickness on either side

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY Citizen information board with marking Logo at L.H.S. of heading of board as per drawing Fixing two MS plates of 1.6 mm thick of size 900 milimeter x 750 milimeter with additional plate of size 450 milimeter x 50 milimeter above top plate and duly welded both top and bottom plate on MS iron frame of flats 50 milimeterm x 5 milimeter size on backside of plates, four flats horizontal and two flats vertical as shown in the drawing, on flat sides. The top plate will be welded at bottom of topside centre of MS iron frame of 76.10mm outer diameter or 75milimeter x 75milimeter square pipe of 12 SWG having two vertical pipes height 2.45 meter above ground level and 0.75 meter in the ground and top and bottom pipe of 1.00 meter wide. The lower most plate will be fixed on the lower frame of M.S. flats frame as shown in the drawing and duly embedded in cement concrete M - 15 Grade blocks of 600milimeter x 750milimeter,750 milimeter below ground level . All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing cross section, border etc will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and color. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing given by NRRDA. as directed by engineer in charge.

Providing and Laying of Rumble strips with Plastirib 2K, or equivalent 2 component cold plastic profiled material to give total width of 500 mm and height of 10 mm. Ramp provided to give width of 145 mm, width of ribs to be 55mm laid at centre to centre distance of 35 mm, with reflective glass beads @ 350 gm / sqm. The finished surface to be levelled, uniform and free from streaks and holes, to be applied on the edge lines, including surface cleaning and cost of all materials etc. complete.

Supplying and Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers / Cat's Eye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 102 +/- 2 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be done by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer.
