Item Description

Earthwork in excavation by Mannual means Manual means for cable trenches of size 0.5X0.75XL meters (WXDXL) or as per istructions of EIC in soils of all types,sand gravel & soft/hard murum, road crossings, asphalt, PCC for Laying of precast concrete half round pipes of size 150 x1000 mm (dia x length) as top & bottom covering to cable, including removing the excavated materials upto a distance of 500 meters beyond the site & lift as specified, stacking & spreading, removal of wild vegetation, bushes, trees from roots etc. necessary dewatering unless provided elsewhere, preparing the bed for cable laying & required backfilling, ramming, watering, shoring & stutting etc. complete as directed for depth upto 1.0 meters. * Note - quoted rate for this item Rate shall be reduced as per actual depth of excavation.

Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in foundations of buildings, footings, columns, plinth beams, walls machine / equipment foundations isolated pits, pavements, trenches for pipelines / cables, pipe sleepers drains etc., to the required levels and grades in both dry and wet conditions including dewatering, ramming of bottoms, getting out including dressing of sides and excavated earth with lift up to 1.5 m and disposal of surplus excavated materials within a lead of 50 m including stacking, leveling and dressing after necessary backfilling etc., complete as per direction of engineer-in-charge in all kinds of soils, sand, gravel murrum ect. Including providing temporary supports to all service lines such as overhead and underground water sewage and drain pipes, cables etc and shoring and strutting wherever necessary, complete in all respects as per direction of engineer- in charge
