Construction of penetration macadam over prepared base by providing a layer of compacted crushed coarse aggregate using chips spreader with alternate applications of bituminous binder and key aggregates and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller to achieve the desired degree of compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 506.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.20 to 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line,grade and level by Paver finisher to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B or Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 508. Direction and place identification signs up to 0.9 sqm size board Providing and Fixing of Retro Reflectorised direction & place identification sign boards made out of retro reflective sheeting of High Intensity prismatic grade conforming to IRC-67: 2012 & Type IV standards of ASTM D4956-09 specifications, fixed over 4 mm thick ACP sheet supported with Back support frame of 35x35x5mm mild steel angle with areas not exceeding 0.9 sqm. Supported in mild steel angle iron post 75x75x6mm - 3.5 mtr height , firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation of M 20 grade cement concrete 45 cm X 45 cm X 60 cm , 60 cm below ground level complete (as per MoRT&H specification No.801) (for area Less than 0.9 sqm). 7Both border & background shall be retro reflective as per Type IV standards. 7 years Warranty for Retro Reflective Sheeting from the original sheeting manufacturer & a certified copy of three years outdoor exposure report from an independent test lab for the product offered shall be submitted by the contractor (Bottom of the board shall be at least 2.6 mtr. above ground level) Specification: IRC 67:2012. There shall be a stamp behind the ACP sheet carrying the name of the supplier, Name of sheeting Manufacturer, Type of retro reflective sheeting, Installation month & year, Warranty period for retro reflective sheeting.

Providing and fixing of typical MMGSY / PMGSY Retro Reflective information board as per section 1700 of MORD specifications and latest PMGSY Signage Manual / Circuler and drawing.The ACP sheets of 3 mm thick, of 1500mmx900 mm size duly rivetted with MS angles of 25 x 25 x 5 mm thick M.S angle. Riveting of all the sheets over angle and flat iron frame will be done neatly to have plain surface on one side. The angle iron frame of the plate will be welded to two nos. 75mm x75mm (12 SWG) sheet tubes posts placed at 1125mm apart centre to centre. These two posts will be embeded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 600x600x750mm below ground level. The height of the bottom of the plate will be 775mm from normal ground level. MMGSY / PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications (Refer Circuler no. The printed sign shall be laminated by UV protected laminate and shall carry a warranty of 5 years & 7 years for Class A and Class B sheeting respectively for traffic colors. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paints as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 (10.16). PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications. All the section of the frame and posts shall be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint.
