The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works during the last seven years, with specific requirements such as: - Three similar completed works each of value not less than 20% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Or, two similar completed works each of value not less than 25% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Or, one similar completed work of value equal to or not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The bidder should have completed works with an average annual turnover of last 3 years > 30% of the estimated cost of the work. The maximum annual turnover of civil engineering works in any one year during the last five years is also considered. Additionally, the bidder must have received payment bills of 80% of the contract sum for the work/works executed last day of month previous to the one in which bids are invited, in case of ongoing works.
