The bidder should have prior work experience of similar nature, specifically in Protection & Maintenance of Trees & Removal of Dead and Dangerous trees/ branches from public as well as private premises, for at least three years. The required prior work experience can be demonstrated by: - Three similar completed works each of value not less than 20% of the estimated cost put to tender - Two similar completed works each of value not less than 25% of the estimated cost put to tender - One similar completed work of value equal to or not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender The value of executed works should be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a compound rate of 10% per annum. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved an average annual financial turnover, certified by a Chartered Accountant, equal to 30% of the estimated cost of work in the last three financial years. Private works experience shall not be considered. The bidder is also required to provide details of existing commitments and ongoing works, including the value of the contract, scheduled date of completion, and value of work remaining to be completed. The bidder must also provide details of works for which bids are already submitted, including the value of the contract and time period. The financial eligibility criteria require the contractual payments received by the JV firm or the arithmetic sum of contractual payments received by all the members of the JV firm in any one of the previous three financial years to be at least 100% of the estimated value of the work. In the case of composite works, at least one member should have satisfactorily completed 35% of the value of any one component of the project work, or any member having satisfactorily completed 35% of the value of work of each component during the last three financial years. The average yearly turnover for the last three years is also required, along with the updated value to the current year. The bidder must also provide a certificate of completion, and the defects liability period may be extended if defects remain to be corrected. The bidder is required to give notice to the contractor of any defects before the end of the defects liability period, and the contractor shall correct the notified defects within the duration of time specified by the notice. The bidder must also provide a compliance report after correcting the defects, and the engineer may issue a notice to the contractor to carry out removal of defects or deficiencies. The bidder is required to pay compensation for delay, and the amount of compensation may be adjusted or set off against any sum payable to the contractor under the contract.
