The required prior work experience for the bidder involves completing specific categories of works during the last 7 years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than INR 2.07 Cr, (ii) Two similar works costing not less than INR 2.77 Cr, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than INR 4.15 Cr. In the case of Joint Venture (JV) firms, each non-lead member must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed one single similar work for a minimum of 10% of the advertised value of the tender or cost of any component of work. The similar work should be "Tunnel work involving Rag Bolting/Rock Bolting/Fabrication for Railways/Central Govt./State Govt/PSUs of Government of India". Additionally, the bidder must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of INR 06.91 Cr in the previous three financial years. For JV firms, other non-lead members must have technical capacity of at least 10% of the cost of the work, having satisfactorily completed one similar work for a minimum of 10% of the advertised value of the tender. The arithmetic sum of individual "financial capacity" of all members shall be taken as JV's "financial capacity" to satisfy this requirement. Contractual payment received by a member in an earlier JV shall be reckoned only to the extent of the concerned member's share in the JV.
