3. The Diving Contractor shall arrange for Mud lifter or water pumps of required capacity if required for clearing silt/mud around the roller paths of the lock/ storm gates at his own cost.

4. Required Insurance shall be arranged by the Diving contractor at his own cost in the begining of contract and no underwater activities are allowed without valid Insurance cover.

5. All the works to be carried out by the divers will be done using the ladders to be provided by Contractor.

6. A room will be provided free of cost for diving team / storing equipments. Including electricity & water supply.

7. Electric and water will be provided free of cost wherever possible for the purpose of works only at site & not for AC in the room.

8. In case work has to be carried out in the mid sea away from the harbour walls, the same will be carried out either by using the cylinders or by diesel powered compressor to be provided by Contractor.

Carrying out diving operations in one shift of 8 hours at MbPT Harbour inside/outside Indira dock basin, JD, Pirpau, lock gate, storm gate, removing foreign materials obstructing movement of gates, removing materials like wood ropes, tyres etc. entangled in the propeller of vessels, launched, tugs, barges etc., removing floating/ drowned cadevers as required by Police department. In short any salvage works, under water inspection requiring assistance of divers are to be carried out under this contract including providing diving team, all diving equipments with accessories & cosumables. The board scope of work is as under: - 1) Diving services for inside/ outside ID Basin, JD, Pirpau, harbour area as per the requirement of Port. 2) Diving services for ID Lock gate as per the requirement of Port. 3) Diving services of Cleaning outer grew of HDD. 4) Underwater inspection of MbPT Launches and Tugs and diving services as per the requirement for clearing any obstructions to underwater parts such as propeller etc. 5) Diving services for falling cargoes or any other under water obstructions at various berths Channels of MbPT. 6) Any other diving services as per the requirement of Port.

Providing Motor launch of required capacity in one shift of 8 hours for transportation of divers, equipment's etc anywhere in Mumbai Harbour as per the requirement of work. This is needed as and when the work is required to be carried out in mid sea away from the harbour walls.
