The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Total value of Civil Engineering Construction work performed in the last five years. - Work performed as prime contractor, or as a nominated sub-contractor, with details such as project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, actual date of completion, and remarks explaining reasons for delay and work completed. - The bidder should have experience in similar nature of work over the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as follows: - 3 similar works of building whose work-wise cost shall not be less than 40% of the Estimated amount of the tender invited (i.e., Rs. 3,70,74,640/- each like 3 works) - 2 similar works of building whose work-wise cost shall not be less than 50% of the Estimated amount of the tender invited (i.e., Rs. 4,63,43,300/- each like 2 works) - 1 Work of similar type building whose work-wise cost shall not be less than 80% of the Estimated amount of the tender invited (i.e., Rs. 7,41,49,281 each like 1 work) - The bidder should have completed at least 90% of the contract value for similar works. - The value of similar works should be not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract. - The bidder should have executed major quantities of building works in the last 5 years, with at least 30% of the quantities required as per the tender. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of an amount indicated in the Appendix (usually not less than two and a half times the estimated annual payments under the contract) in the last five years. The bidder should have also satisfactorily completed (not less than 90% of contract value) at least one similar work of value not less than the amount indicated in the Appendix (usually not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract).
