PART (B) : After Sales Service Request by PNG Customer

Temporary Dissconnection of Domestic Meter (Customer Request)

Contractor has to perform the "Temporary Disconnection" request as per SLA and it covers the removal of meter copper with all accesories from MCV2 , provide the safe isolation/plugging by GI end plug, Handover all the materials removed i.e Meter, Copper pipe,Regulators etc. to customers in good and reusable conditions, meter reading etc. and get it recorded in the report with cutomers signature.

Permanent Dissconnection of Domestic Connection (Customer Request)

Contractor has to perform the "Permanent Disconnection" request as per SLA and it covers the removal of GI form MCV-I to MCV-II, meter-copper with all accesories, provide the safe isolation/plugging by GI end plug at MCV-I, restoration of wall holes with cement etc., record all the activity, materials removed i.e GI, Meter, Copper pipe,Regulators etc. in the report with final/last meter reading and get the certfication of cutomers on the same. The removed material shall be handed over to MNGL.

Reconnection, Rerouting, Modification of Domestic PNG connection (Customer Request)

The SOR covers the service, labour, consumable, fittings, tools etc. for user request of "Reconnection" after Temporary disconnection, "Rerouting ", Modification, Reinstallation etc inside the kitchen (From MCV-II) excpet rerouting of GI (from MCV-I to MCV-II etc. which is payable under SOR 2), Test of the installation, Restore the gas supply up to stove. Contractor can claim the useded material under Part C-SOR No: 1 to 12 and extra material other then this SORs if required to complete the job shall be supplied by the contrcator on his cost. Also the SOR covers the all consumabels like installation of PVC clips (Cu claimping), restoretion, sholdering, scrow etc.

Testing of Domestic meters with master calibrated meter (For low/high/zero consumption.) & Replacement (Customer Request)

The SOR covers the labour, manpower, consumables, tools, equiepment, mobilization, transportetion leak testing of asset etc which is required to complet or close the Customer Request as "Meter Running Fast" , "Meter Running Slow", "Meter Not Moving", "Faulty meter" or any other meter related complaints. Contractor has to perform the testing of the customers meter as per the standard procedure of MNGL with or without using of Standard Calibrated Meter provided by MNGL. In caseof faulty, Meter not running etc. contrcator has to replace such meter with new meter and has to record all the data like old meter No, closing reading, new meter no, opening reading etc. The contractor will submit the service report with all required details, duly signed by MNGL & the customer.

D.Meter replacement Without Alteration

Conversion of LPG Stove to PNG gas stove All Size & Types (Customer Request)

The SOR covers the labour, manpower, consumables, tools, equiepment, Nozzles, mobilization, transportetion, leak testing of asset etc which is required to complet or close the Customer Request as "Conversion of LPG Stove to PNG Gas Stove" or any other meter related complaints. Contractor has to perform the testing of the customers Gas Stove as per the standard procedure of MNGL after the conversion. The contractor will submit the service report with all required details, duly signed by MNGL & the customer.

Rerouting/Shifting/Replacment (Bulk Customer Request)

SOR covers the supply of tools, equipment’s, fittings, manpower, machine, consumable, transportation, coordination with MNGL/ Customer/ Society/ authority, collection of the payment against the service, obtaining permission, scheduling the requetes/activities, taking cost approval from EIC/Customer/society etc. whichever is required to complete the job as per the SLA and satitisfaction & direction of EIC. Contractor also needs to prepair or maintain the activity reports along with all documents, photo etc and submit to MNGL. Contractor has to perform the "Request" as per SLA and it covers the completion of Job, removal/installation of Pipeline GI-MDPE-copper with all accesories, provide the safe isolation/plugging, ensuring safety complainces at site, Handover of all materials removed i.e GI,MDPE, Meter, Copper pipe,Regulators, Valves etc. to MNGL or Re-Use as per the direction of EIC. ALso ensureing the continuous supply of PNG to the customers. The jobs under "Rectification & Repairs" may call for immediate actions, in order to maintain the continouse gas supply to the customers. The contractor should also maintain / arrange workforce to respond and attend "Rectification & Repairs" as an urgent / emergency requirement with in the given timeline or immidate basis.

SOR covers the complete activities which required to shift the SR from one location to another and, construction of SR foundation, Filling of sand, Sleeves, commissioning,Testing with necessary modification in MDPE pipline (if required), Re construction of SR foundation-painting-letter weitting etc. as per the direction of EIC.

After Sales Services - Commercial Customers

RE-connection/ Re-routing of Commercial Connection. (Customer Request)

The SOR covers Rerouting and reconnection of commercial connection as per MNGL instruction. First, the vendor has to disconnect the existing connection remove the Meter, regulator, TF & GI. Then, he has to finalize the route in consultation with the customer and take the approval from EIC of the approved route on SLD. Then he has to start the installation activity of the TF & GI Pipe from the new route finalized by MNGL clamping the pipe at every 1 meter. To protect TF, he has to install a sleeve, construct the pedestal, & fill the sand in the TF pedestal. After the installation, the gas line is under positive pressure for testing to check leakages & after that, reinstall Meter and regulator at the new location. If leakage is observed during testing vendor has to rectify it and again put the installation for testing under positive pressure. In case of no leakage identified, then the vendor has to commission the new installation in the presence of MNGL to restore the gas supply, but before that, painting of GI pipe, clamps and pedestal should be completed after the commissioning vendor has to submit all the materials, Meter, regulator and pipes to MNGL stores and take NOC from MNGL and submit the commissioning/service report.The service, labour, consumable cost etc., for "Reconnection" and "Rerouting "is payable along with SOR E.01 to E.15. The extra/additional/new material not listed in SOR E.01 to E.15 but required to complete the job shall be supplied by the contractor. The use of list items will be chargeable for customer and contractor can claim accordingly and at actual as recorded in-service report, duly signed by the customer and MNGL.

Upgradation of Commercial Connection (Customer Request)

The SOR covers the up-gradation of commercial connection as per MNGL instruction. First, the vendor has to disconnect the existing connection remove the Meter, regulator, TF & GI. Then, he has to finalize the route in consultation with the customer and the upgraded equipment list(GI Pipe size, meter size, Regulator size) and take the approval from EIC of the approved route on SLD and upgraded equipment. Then he has to start the installation activity of the TF & GI Pipe from the new route finalized by MNGL clamping the pipe at every 1 meter. To protect TF, he has to install a sleeve, construct the pedestal, & fill the sand in the TF pedestal. After the installation, pneumatic testing is done by keeping the gas line under positive pressure for testing to check leakages & after that, reinstall Meter and regulator at the new location. If leakage is observed during testing vendor has to rectify it and again put the installation for testing under positive pressure. In case of no leakage is identified, then the vendor has to commission the new installation in the presence of MNGL to restore the gas supply. However, before that, painting of GI pipe, clamps and pedestal should be completed after the commissioning vendor has to submit all the materials, old Meter, regulator and pipes to MNGL stores and take NOC from MNGL and submit the commissioning/service report. The service, labour, consumable cost are payable along with SOR E.01 to E.15. The extra/additional/new material not listed in SOR E.01 to E.15 but required to complete the job shall be supplied by the contractor. The use of list items will be chargeable for customer and contractor can claim accordingly and at actual as recorded in-service report, duly signed by the customer and MNGL.

Visit charges / Technical Support on Customer Request(The SOR covers the technical services at Customer premises to estimate the job to be carried out with cost expences upon Customers Request. The SOR includes the cost of Transportation, Tools & Tackles, consumables etc.)
