ALso ensureing the continuous supply of PNG to the customers. The jobs under "Rectification & Repairs" may call for immediate actions, in order to maintain the continouse gas supply to the customers. The contractor should also maintain / arrange workforce to respond and attend "Rectification & Repairs" as an urgent / emergency requirement with in the given timeline or immidate basis.

The SOR covers Rerouting and reconnection of commercial connection as per MNGL instruction. First, the vendor has to disconnect the existing connection remove the Meter, regulator, TF & GI. Then, he has to finalize the route in consultation with the customer and take the approval from EIC of the approved route on SLD. Then he has to start the installation activity of the TF & GI Pipe from the new route finalized by MNGL clamping the pipe at every 1 meter. To protect TF, he has to install a sleeve, construct the pedestal, & fill the sand in the TF pedestal. After the installation, the gas line is under positive pressure for testing to check leakages & after that, reinstall Meter and regulator at the new location. If leakage is observed during testing vendor has to rectify it and again put the installation for testing under positive pressure. In case of no leakage identified, then the vendor has to commission the new installation in the presence of MNGL to restore the gas supply, but before that, painting of GI pipe, clamps and pedestal should be completed after the commissioning vendor has to submit all the materials, Meter, regulator and pipes to MNGL stores and take NOC from MNGL and submit the commissioning/service report.The service, labour, consumable cost etc., for "Reconnection" and "Rerouting "is payable along with SOR E.01 to E.15. The extra/additional/new material not listed in SOR E.01 to E.15 but required to complete the job shall be supplied by the contractor. The use of list items will be chargeable for customer and contractor can claim accordingly and at actual as recorded in-service report, duly signed by the customer and MNGL.
