Design, manufacture, assembly, testing at works, supply, erection, testing & commissioning at site as per technical specifications complete in all respect of DG Set of 650 KVA prime rating, CPCB IV+ Compliance 415 Volts, 3 phase 4 Wire, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM AC alternator coupled with radiator cooled diesel engine complete with all accessories, like self starting device, fly wheel coupling with guard, V belts, Water Separator to avoid water particles from fuel to ensure smooth functioning of DG Set, cooling system, instrument panel comprising of switch with key, starting battery & battery charging device, safety control for lub oil pressure with tripping, external fuel & DEF filling provision, fuel & DEF level sensor etc. The alternator insulation shall be class 'H' with temperature rise limited to Class 'H' value suitable to withstand tropical conditions and shall generally comply with BS 5514 and IS 10002. The over load capacity shall not be less than 110% of rated capacity for 1 hour in every 12 hours. DG Set shall be enclosed in an acoustic enclosure. The Acoustic Enclosure of DG Set should be a 14th tank UV resistant powder coating processed suitable for longer life outdoor application. The enclosure shall have provision of space required for inspection and minor maintenance. 24 Volt Lead Acid rechargeable battery set of adequate AH rating complete with powder coated battery stand, suitable trickle/boost chargers, battery leads. Neutral CT of suitable ratio & Class 0.5S accuracy mounted in the terminal box for Alternator REF protection shall be included. The governer class shall be G3 as per ISO 8528 part V, Lube oil change period shall not be less than 500 Hrs/ One year. Voltage deep shall not exceed 10%.Voltage built up shall not more than 1 sec. Fuel consumption shall be linear after 50% of load. The DG set shall be mounted on a suitable designed fabricated rigid common base frame with antivibration pads to provide not less than 99% vibration isolation. First filling of lube oil, coolant, DEF & HSD shall be included in DG Set cost. The DG Set shall include all standard accessories, fittings, instruments and 3 sets of operating & maintenance manuals, spare parts list etc. complete as per technical specifications. The DG set shall be inclusive of AMF controller. Fuel day oil tank should be not less than 990 litres. Silencer should be Residentioal grade with rain water cap etc. complete as required. The bidder must provide a minimum 3 year warranty on all parts/components of the DG Set.

Supply and laying in existing cable Trays/ Hume Pipes/clamped to wall with suitable clamps saddles and fixing bolts including testing and commissioning of 1C x 120 Sq. Mm Copper Flexible Cable, FRLS, 1100 volts grade armoured XLPE insulated and sheathed copper conductor cable complete as required. Identification tags shall be provided for all cables

650 KVA Three Phase, Four Wire DG Set on rent for 48 hours with skilled DG Set Operator. Hired DG Set is required at the time of commissioning and load testing of new DG Set. DG Set should be of continuous duty rating, good quality and there should be no interruption in the functioning of hired DG Set. Rated power cables from hired DG Set to MCCB Panel (located in IUCAA Substation, minimum 30 meters) with proper lugs and MCCB/ACB should be provided to ‘turn on-off’ the load by DG Set Bidder.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 50 x 6 mm strip of GI strip clamped to walls, cable trays, bus ducts, cables in recess or surface etc for equipment/ System earthing complete as required including inter connection between length at joints, all fixing accessories saddles, clamps etc and other fixing hardware material as required for proper installation/termination.

Disconnection and Removal of old power/control cables/earthing strips/piping etc.

BUY BACK: Desmantling, Removal and Buyback of existing 'Greaves Make 500 KVA DG Set' installed in 2005. The bidder should check the condition of the existing DG set before quoting a buyback offer - 01 set.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 25 mm schedule- C class MS piping conforming to IS-1239 for fuel piping complete with all necessary fittings and valves between day oil storage tanks and DG sets including jointing of pipes, painting with 2 coats of red oxide and two coats of enamel paint.

Cable end termination of the 1C x 120 Sq. Mm Copper Flexible Cable copper cables 1100 Volt grade including cost of crimping tinned copper heavy duty bimetallic lugs, double compression glands, insulation tape and all requisite material for completion of termonation/joints.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical grounding system CPRI approved Strip in Pipe technology stable grounding back fill compound for a long period of time.76 mm outer pipe dia, 50X5 mm inner strip, 6000 mm long hot dipped GI earthing electrode with 25 Kg x 8 Nos. back fill compound bags. Hot dipped GI coating must be above 80 microns. Outer pipe must be embossed with IS marke and follows IS-1239:1990 (Part1). Wall thickness of outer electrode should be 3.20 mm. It should be electrically conducting & not dependant on moisture & confirming to ANSI/NSF Standard 60, will not diffuse in to the ground, will not expand or experience any shrinkage but remain in constant contact with earth & should be able to reduce contact resistance to earth significantly(at least 40 %) & create a low steady state impedance for a very long period resulting in faster transient dissipation. Providing masonry enclosure with medium duty RCC frame & Cover cover having locking arrangement and disconnecting/ testing links etc as per IS –3043 complete as required.

It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to obtain statutory clearance from the authorities like PWD, SEB, CPCB etc. for installation and commissioning of the above DG set as per their rules. The bidder shall prepare the necessary documents/drawings and submit it to IUCAA for approval before submitting it to the PWD/SEB/CPCB authorities. Please note that any statutory payment to PWD/SEB/CPCB department should be made by the bidder separately.
