Installation of new False Ceiling:Providing and Fixing Micro Perforated/non perforated powder coated Aluminium panels suspended from the ceiling. Panels shall be of Size 2' X 2' made out of standard powder coated Aluminium. Tiles shall have perforations of 1.5 mm diameter in 5mm diagonal square patterns giving 22 % of perforated area. Non-woven acoustic pad pasted on the back side with appropriate adhesive.The tile end shall be raised upward by 10 mm and bend outward to lay the tile in frame work. Grid system for fixing ceiling tiles shall comprise of T-grid suspension system. The 15mm / Silhouette / Equivalent main Tee runner shall be suspended at an interval of 4' centre to centre. The 4' cross tee shall be attached between two main runners at every 600 mm and further 600mm cross Tee shall be interconnected between two 4' cross Tees. Thus a grid system of 2' X 2' is formed. The main tee shall be suspended by means of 2/2.5 mm wire or 4mm G.I rod from slab/roof. The suspension shall be provided at 4'centre to centre and not more 2'6"from the wall. However, the suspension shall not be more than 150mm distance from the spliced joints of the main tee

Specification:Partition framing: Providing and fixing Aluminium Frame work using box sections 50mm X 37.5mm @ 610mm c/c to be fixed by means of floor and ceiling channel, with intermediate horizontal 50mm X 37.5mm Aluminium sections @ 1200mm C/C complete as directed at site. The Aluminium framework to be continued right up to the True ceiling. The cost to also include necessary strengthening of Aluminium frames to take the additional load of ply paneling on either side. Filling: Providing and filling glass wool insulation of density not less than 48 kg per cum, of approved make wrapped in 40GSM fiber glass tissues as per manufacturer's specifications, with an installed thickness of not less than 50mm thick wherever directed by the EIC, including the cost of all labor, material and equipment, transporting, lifting to all heights, etc. Plywood fixing on frame: Aluminium framework backing to be covered with 12mm thick marine ply (confirming to IS 303 & of reputed make) backing & fixed with wooden screw or as directed. 12mm thick marine ply should be screwed to frame work on main side with joints as directed by EIC. For approximately3 Sq mtr area on main side of partition, double backing of 12 mm thick Marine ply shall be provided. Partition should be able to bear additional load on itself for hanging display units/white boards/ photo frames. Finish: Approved laminate shall be of 1.0 mm thick. laminate shall be fixed on plywood skins with glue having grooves as directed by EIC. Ply on one side of the main frame to be finished with 1.0mm thk approved laminate finish as per approved shade suitable for office interior finish and the other side of the main frame to be painted with Acrylic Emulsion paint after surface preparation

Scope of work shall also includes providing the tags for wires inside casing & capping for bunching to avoid hanging of wires at the intervals of 600mm. Note: i). Wiring layout arrangement and samples of switch boxes are to be got approved prior to procurement.ii). All switches, sockets, cover plates & frame, plastic surface boxes, etc. shall be of white colour& similar to Myrius series of M/s Legrand and other accessories like lamp holders, ceiling roses & doorbell etc. shall be of polycarbonate body and shall preferably ISI marked.iii). The dimensions of switches, sockets, and fan regulators shall preferably be ISI mark.iv). HMS PVC sleeves will have to be provided for crossing the wall, drilling holes & it’s refinishing to be also included in the scope.v). The scope of work also includes removing of existing MS switch boards by breaking the brick wall, making suitable cut-outs (suitable for Legrand 8 x 1 module Arteor Flush Mounting box) in brick wall for fixing new switch boards, finishing with cement mortar, applying white putty as required, touch up painting for that area with OBD paint of existing shade and as per instructions of E-I-C.vi). All metallic boxes/switch boxes shall be earthed with 1.1kV grade FRLS PVC insulated 1.5sq.mm copper flexible wire.vii).
