Name of the work : Chartering of dredgers on Cubic Meter basis for the work of Maintenance dredging at Mormugao Port for the year 2021-22 and 2022-23 at MPT. (BOQ-II)

NOTE : a) The Quantity mentioned in the BOQ-II is for 2021-22 only. b) The quantities mentioned in the above BOQ -II is only indicative, it may vary +/-20% . However, the actual quantities to be dredged will be ascertained from joint Pre dredge surveys. c) The actual quantity certified by MPT will be paid on back to back to basis (Upon receipt of payment from MPT) d) The quoted rates inclusive of Mobilization & Demobilization, Fuel, Lube oil, men and material, watch keeping, repair cost, spares cost, all taxes, but excluding GST.

Carrying out maintenance dredging of Navigational channel, approach to and alongside berth Nos 4, 5A, 6A, 8, 10,11, Break water and Mole berths, Inner Turning circle, Outer Turning circle, Outer channel from A1 to A5 areas, Mooring Dolphins MD1 to MD3 areas and dumping the dredged spoil in the designated offshore dumping area which is from 3 to 4 nautical miles from the break water including mobilization & demobilization of dredger fuel, etc complete, in all respects.

Name of the work : Chartering of dredgers on Cubic Meter basis for the work of Post Monsoon Maintenance dredging at New Mangalore Port for the year 2021-22 and 2022-23 at NMPT. (BOQ III)

NOTE : a) The Quantity mentioned in the BOQ-III is per each year. b) The quantities mentioned in the above BOQ -III is only indicative, it may vary +/-20% . However, the actual quantities to be dredged will be ascertained from joint Pre dredge surveys. c) The actual quantity certified by NMPT will be paid on back to back to basis (Upon receipt of payment from NMPT) d) The quoted rates inclusive of Mobilization & Demobilization, Fuel, Lube oil, men and material, watch keeping, repair cost, spares cost, all taxes, but excluding GST.

Maintenance dredging on In-situ basis by deploying Trailer suction hopper dredger in the areas of Outer approach channel, Lagoon (The drawing of the dredging area enclosed) including Oil Dock arm, Turning circle and KIO Berth (Extension Lagoon). The areas required to be dredged from the existing levels to their minimum designed depths as detailed below. During the course of dredging if any hard strata encountered, the contractor has to deploy cutter suction dredgers/ Bucket Ladder dredgers or any suitable equipment to clear these hard patches. Up to a depth of (-) 8.00 Mtrs CD at Berth No. 1, and in front of Berth No.1 up to centre line of OAC, (-) 12.00 M CD at Berth No.2, (-) 11.00 M CD at Berth No3, (-) 10.50 M CD t Berth No.4 to 7 in the ODA, & 14(E), (-)14.00 M CD at B. No.8& 12, (-)12.50 M CD at Berth No. 9, (-) 15.10 M CD at Berth Nos. 14(W), 15, 16, 10, 11 & 13. The Outer approach channel is of total length 7500. Mtrs (Towards Sea which depends upon the shifting of the (-)15.4 M contour due to siltation. Maintenance dredging of all these areas involves dredging in all types of soil comprising of fine silt, sand hard/stiff clay, any hard strata encountered due to settlement of fine silt, sand etc. The material so dredged is to be transported and dumped at the designated dumping ground located at a distance of 7.00 KMs towards North west direction from the intersection point of the outer approach channel with (-)15.40M contour line including Mobilization & Demobilization charges for TSHD including survey launch, Routine boat and hire charges of all plant & equipment, cost of labor, materials and consumables etc, complete for the satisfaction completion of Dredging work.

Dredging on In-situ basis by using special dredging equipment Viz Grab/ Cutter / Bucket/Plough etc with allied equipments to dredge/clear the area within 0 to 7 Mtrs from the berth face whenever berth is vacant without affeting the Port operations from the existing levels in all types of soils comprising of sand, silt deposits spillage of iron ore / mines, fallen wooden logs , tyres, fenders, boulders, rock/ concrete pieces , debris , steel plates , chains , wire ropes , cement bags , tarpaulins etc. Upto a depth of (-) 8.00 Mtrs CD at Berth No. 1, and in front of Berth No.1 up to centre line of OAC , (-) 12.00 M CD at Berth No.2, (-) 11.00 M CD at Berth No3, (-) 10.50 M CD at Berth No.4 to 7 in the ODA, & 14(E),(-)14.00 M CD at B. No.8& 12, (-)12.50 M CD at Berth No. 9, (-) 15.10 M CD at Berth Nos. 14(W), 15, 16 , 10, 11 & 13. Without damaging the existing structures, fenders etc. and dumping the dredged material at deeper areas away from the berth face and the same shall be dredged / cleared simultaneously by TSHD and dumped the same at the designated dumping ground located at a distance about 7.00 KMs towards North-west direction from the intersection point channel with (-)15.4 M contour in the centre line of the outer approach channel including channel including Mobilization &Demobilization charges for TSHD including survey launch , Routine boat and hire charges of all plant & equipment, cost of labour, materials and consumables etc, and transporting and dumping the dredged material in the designated dumping ground. Diving charges to collect sea bed samples

Dredging all types of below the deck soils including sand , silt , loose clay and hard / stiff clay below the deck structure area of pump house No. 1,2 and 3 from the existing level to (-) 6.0 0 MCD for 1 &2 and (-) 10.00 MCD for pump house No. 3 with a tolerance of +0.5 Mtrs including slope and to discharge dredged material to the dock arm areas uniformly beyond a lead of 150 Mtrs as directed by the Engineer –In-charge by a deploying a circle pump dredger 250 Cumper hour output or a suction pump dredger or any other suitable method including cost of labour , mobilization , demobilization etc complete for successful completion of work.
