SLUICE VALVE WITH ACTUATOR : Replacement of old existing defective sluice valves of following sizes including dismantling old sluice valve and Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of non rising spindle DI resilient seated gate valve with pocket less body SS Stem (AISI 410 ) EPDM Coated DI Wedge 100 % Vacuum tight Design with Toroidal Sealing Ring & over 250 Microns Epoxy Coating in PN 1.6 Designed to BS:5163 / IS:14846 with Hand Wheel Operation and CAP with all necessary fittings like MS open flanges for inserting (if required to match flange to flange distance ), neoprene gaskets, G.I.nut bolts with double GI washer, hardware, by inserting open flange etc. as per above said technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-In charge. NOTE: (1) Cost included of removing the actuator from old sluice valve and re-installing on newly installed sluice valve after replacement. (2) Cost included of providing and installing OEM recommended Universal Joints and shaft of required length for installing actuator (3) If changing of stand or mounting bracket of MOV is required due dimensional changes then required items shall be fabricated, installed and the same shall be measured and paid under ITEM No. 4.0 of fabrication and Welding. (4) Scope of work includes taking away dismantled Sluice Valve only. Suitable rebate shall be included in the quoted rate. Necessary gate pass will be issued by department. (5) Job / work shall be completed with in 2 days from the date of issue of job card, failing which 10% of quoted rate against respective item per day will be levied. (6) Scope of work is including necessary arrangement of dewatering ( i.e. De-watering pump, cables, ELCB board with cable shall be arranged by agency. (7) The valves shall be suitable for operation by actuators.

CI/DI FITTINIGS: Supply, transporting, laying & jointing C.I. / D.I. fittings /specials fittings like push-on joints, socket & spigot or double end flanged ,Electro lock Joint (Self Restraining system), Dismantling joint, tees, bends, collars, reducers, enlargers, end cap, single & double flange socket tail piece, plug, duck foot bends, flange joint , tee, flange cross, socket tee & socket cross etc. of approved make including tightening the joints to proper line level & alignment & testing the fittings & joints to 10Kg/cm2 for two hours duration with clean & potable water, rectifying defects/ leakages if any, inclusive of cost of fittings/ specials, labour charge, joints etc. all complete as directed & to the entire satisfaction of EIC.

FBRICATION & WELDING : Fabrication, Supply and Installation of suitable metallic fixtures /M.S. support or stand for installation of existing actuators / fixing of new sluice valves & fittings , NRV, welding, fabrication of MS base plate of thickness 6 mm,covers for main hole & support for pipe lines etc. by using all levels of MS steels stricture like MS angles, channels, I- beam, MS flats, MS plate, chequered plate & MS Square & round bar, hardware & GI Nut bolts, GI Washer etc. with two coat of steel primer & one coated of synthetic Enamel paint of M/s Asian / Berger make & complete all as per required & directed by EIC.

CUTTING & REMOVING PIPE : Cutting the existing following sizes of water supply pipe lines for inserting CI/DI specials, fixtures etc. without damaging the adjacent pipes, disjointing the lead joints if necessary, removing the pipes as required as per site conditions , isolating the pipe line before cutting etc,loading & unloading, transporting the dismantled pipes/fittings to mechanical/ DCSEM stores at Anushaktinagar all as instructed & to the entire satisfaction of EIC. NOTE: 1) Scope of work includes taking away all old dismantled pipes and fittings material. Suitable rebate shall be included in the quoted rate. Necessary gate pass will be issued by department.

DEMOLISHING OF PCC: Demolishing plain cement concrete work by chiselling at all levels including disposal of removed materials within 50m lead all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

DEMOLISHING OF BRICK WORK: Demolishing brick work in cement mortar including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials & disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead.

PCC WORK: Cement concrete 1:2:4 using graded stone aggregate of 20mm maximum size including consolidating, finishing, curing, form work etc. as per standards specifications for anchoring, pipe supports etc. all as directed & to the entire satisfaction of EIC.

BRICK WORK: Brick work using bricks as specified in foundation & plinth including curing, racking out joints above ground level & simultaneous pointing below ground level etc. complete all as per specification using cement mortar 1:6 & to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge.

CEMENT PLASTER: Cement plaster 20 mm thick in single coat over exterior masonry & concrete surfaces at all levels with cement mortar 1:4, finishing smooth with neat cement to correct line, levels, plumb & curing etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge

LEAD JOINT: Making lead caulked joints to CI socket & spigot or double socket pressure pipes & specials of following sizes, for water supply including cost of pig lead, spun yarn, fuel, labour including making sockets pits for lead pouring & caulking & testing the joints to 10 kg/cm2 pressure with minimum period of testing of two hours with clean & potable water, as per specification & directed by EIC.

RECAULKING OF LEAD JOINT: Removing / recaulking of existing damaged, leaky lead caulked joints of CI socket & spigot or double socket pressure pipes & specials of following sizes, for water supply including cost of pig lead, spun yarn, fuel, labour including making sockets pits for lead pouring & caulking & testing the joints to 10 kg/cm2 pressure with minimum period of testing of two hours with clean & potable water, as per specification & directed by EIC.
