Octagonal pole

Design, manufacture, testing at works,supply, assembling, installation, and erection of single arm 6 m (above ground level ) Octagonal pole internally & externally hot dipped galvanised similar to M/s Bajaj or equivalent, fabricated out of 3mm thick sheet as per S355JO or relevant I.S, complete with built in junction box, base plate size 200 X 200 X12 mm, one arm of galvanised pipe of 32 NB medium class and 1.0Mtr in length on one side of pole shaft with 15deg. up angle with horizontal as per detailed specifications. Junction box should be provided 500 mm above base plate with 4 Nos brass terminals on epoxy insulator,1 no 6A SP MCB (will be supplied by dept. free of cost) & 1 no. neutral link mounted on 4 mm thick bakelite sheet, 2mm GI gland plate etc. Base plate should have 4 nos holes suitable for mounting on RCC foundation 200 mm above FGL. The cost of pole shall include the cost of RCC foundation , foundation bolts, anchor plates, nuts, washers, min 2 nos. HDPE PLB pipe 40/33 mm dia bend to shape approx. 1.0 m in length, & including excavation in all types of soil/foot path cutting , temporary reinstatement, back filling, dewatering, consolidation, disposal of excess earth within the radius of 3000 m and making good to the original finish etc as per enclosed detailed specifications & drawings, as required to complete the work in all respect as per instructions of the E-I-C. Providing earthing of pole as follows: 1) Providing 1 nos. of 8 SWG G.I. earth wires each 8 M long coiled at a depth of 1500 mm below ground level and connected to the pole through existing HDPE pipe and with 50mm class 2) Providing B GI pipe (supplied by dept.) of 1.5M length installed bellow ground level and to be conected to pole using 25x3mm GI strip to existing foundation bolts / pole bolts and as per instructions of Engineer-in-charge.

Installation, testing of commissioning of dept. supplied 1100 V grade XLPE insulated armoured cable of sizes of 4C X 10sq.mm cable, fixed on wall / column / slab with 4mm thick GI spacer and 16swg thick GI saddles fixed at a interval of 400mm using nylon rawal plug, 10 X 35 mm GI wooden screw etc. / in existing Hume pipes 900 mm below ground level/ in ground at a depth of 900 mm below ground level excluding excavation in all type of soils excluding hard rock , sand/stone dust bedding, laying of backed bricks(20 no.s per meter) as per IS on side & top, temporary reinstatement, back filling, dewatering if necessary, disposal of excess earth within the radius of 3000 m etc. all as required & instructed by the E.I.C. Note: Transportation including loading / unloading of cable from DCSE store to site also included in the scope of work.

Cable end termination : Providing cable end termination of 4Cx 10sq. mm 1.1kV grade PVC/XLPE insulated armoured Aluminium cables with solder less, heavy duty tinned copper lugs, brass cable gland, insulation tape, duplicate earthing for cable gland with brass earth tag as per relevant IS specification and as per instruction of E.I.C.

Installation of department supplied RCC Hume pipes of 150 mm Φ(non pressure type) jointing with collars & necessary mortar including, excavation in soft soil and as per instructions of E.I.C. Note: Transportation including loading / unloading of Hume pipe from DCSE store to site also included in the scope of work.

Installation of Department Supply 25 mm dia rigid HMS PVC of conduit : 25 mm dia HMS PVC conduit will be supplied by the Department and all conduit accessories including PVC spacer saddles, bends, round junction boxes, loading unloading from DCSEM store to site, etc. shall be provided by the agency/ contractor.

Installation of department supplied 25 mm dia rigid HMS PVC of conduit with all required accessories like junction box , bend, etc. on surface of slab / wall / column fixed with PVC spacer saddles, nylon / rawal plug, GI wood screws/ using self tapping /threading screw, at the intervals of 300mm as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge.

Making of grooves by cutting floor tiles /floor/wall with cutter machine and laying of Department supply HMS PVC of 25 mm dia rigid conduit with all required accessories like junction box , bend, etc. for laying power & control cable/ wires as required, refilling the grooves with cement concrete & finishing the surface to floor level as required.

Installation of department supplied 25 mm dia rigid HMS PVC of conduit with all required accessories like junction box , bend, etc. in ground excluding excavation all as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge.

GI & HDPE Pipe

Installation of dept. supplied 50 mm dia.class B G.I pipe with all fixing arrangements jointing of pipes with new couplers, loading unloading from DCSEM store to site, etc as per required & instructed by the Engineer-in-charge

Supply & installation of 50mm dia. HDPE pipe with all fixing accessories in ground at a depth of 500 mm below ground level excluding excavation in all types of soils, including consolidating, temporary reinstatement, back filling, dewatering, all as required & as instructed by EIC.

PVC coated flexible steel Conduit Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 25mm liquid tight, PVC coated Flexible Galvanised Steel conduit made up of helical coil of self interlocked ribbed stripes of Galvanised steel complete with necessary accessories like PVC gland etc. as required & instructed by EIC.

Supply installation testing & commissioning of 1100 grade 3Cx 1.5 sq. mm copper conductor PVC insulated PVC sheathed flexible cable of M/s Polycab/ RR Kabel / KEI/Havells in existing conduit including end termination with copper lugs all as required & instructed by E-I-C.

IP65 polystyrene thermoplastic cable junction box similar to catalogue No. KF2525 of M/s. HENSEL make with 32A, 4 way, 415V resin cast stud type connector suitable termination cable of size 16 sq. mm, SP MCB C-6A-1no (MCB will be supplied by dept). on DIN chanel, 2mm thick G.I. gland plate of suitable size and openable plain cover etc. and as per instructions of E.I.C.

Earth Station: Providing earth station with heavy dipped GI earth plates electrode 600 x 600 x 6.0 mm in size at the depth minimum of 2.5 m below ground level (bottom of Plate) confirming to IS 3043 complete with all required materials like coke / charcoal, salt, G.I nut bolts, washers, 19 mm dia GI pipe (B class), 150 mm thick concrete wall chamber duly plastered having size of 500 x 500 x 500 mm, heavy duty (minimum 6 mm thick) M.S chequered plate cover, associated materials like 40 x 40 x 5 mm angle iron frame work, hinged locking arrangements, complete with funnels, GI test links (50 x 6 mm), two runs of 25 x 6mm G.I strips for connecting G.I plate & test link etc. including excavation of ground in all types of soils, refilling & removal of excess earth within a radius of 3000 m etc. all as required & instructed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note:- 1. The chamber cover & frame shall be got approved by Department & painted with two coats of red oxide & one coat of enamel paint. 2. Painting of earth value & test date on cover plate. 3. Earthing strips shall be welded with the earthing plate before galvanizing & two holes on each strip & plate shall be made for fixing the screws.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of hot dipped following GI strip fixed to wall / slab / column / beam with heavy duty GI spacer saddle or in ground at a depth of 750 mm below ground level excluding excavation in all type of soil , interconnection of earth strip / wire GI nut bolts & washers, painting with two coats of black bituminous compound for earth strip in ground and green colour enamel painting strip on surface etc. all as required & instructed by the Engineer-in-charge

Earth excavation in hard rock/soft rock & breaking the existing drain walls & reinstatement

Excavating of soft soil including shorting or dewatering, removing of bricks/tiles etc. refilling and consolidation of the surface. Disposing the excess earth within a 3000 meter radius as directed by engineer-in- charge.

Cutting of asphalt road / concrete flooring /drain of 200 mm depth by using hydraulic drilling machine as required and stacking of rocks, refilling and consolidation of the surface. Disposing the excess earth within a 3000 meter radius as directed by engineer-in-charge

Excavating in hard rock including shorting or dewatering, removing of bricks/tiles etc. refilling and consolidation of the surface. Disposing the excess earth within a 3000 meter radius as directed by engineer-in- charge.

Providing Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 using graded stone aggregate of 20 mm maximum size including consolidation, stacking, soling, frame work, shuttering, finishing, curing etc. Complete all as directed by Engineer in charge. Complete all as per specification & as directed by EIC.

Fabrication , supply & installation of MS angle brackets of required size & shape including Hot dipped galvanization of bracket for installation of flood light, on wall/ column/beam with required hardware all as required & instructed by E-I-C.
