Operation: Operation of Swimming Pool filtration plant containing the equipments as per Annexure “A” in shift duties by engaging the experienced plant operator & helper (daily two nos. operator & helper in shift duties) and One Supervisor in general shift for smooth & efficient operation of the plant.The manpower in a day would be minimum:2Operators+2Helpers+1Supervisor=5 nos. NOTE: i)The operator should be minimum ITI qualified /12th standard pass with at least one year experience of pumping operation or 10th pass with at least three years experience of pumping operation.Helper should have minimum 10th pass with one year experience or 8th pass with five years experience of assisting pumping operations. ii)The supervisor should have minimum ITI with three years experience or 12th standard pass with atleast five years experience for operation and maintenance of swimming pool filtration plant.The duty of Supervisor would be in general shift from 09.30 to 18.00 hrs. ii)There will be generally following shifts in a day a) 1st shift : 6.00 hrs to 14.00hrs b) 2nd shift : 14.00hrs to 22.00hrs c) 3rd shift : (if required) iii) Operational data should be recorded on the approved log sheet &should be submitted daily to EIC iv) Operator/helper will not leave his duty till relieved by another duty Operator/helper. In case the reliever does not report for the duty, the operator/helper on duty should continue the duty under intimation to his superiors & EIC . Note:1.The operation shall be carried out in coordination with EIC/Departmental Staff & as instructed. 2.Additional operator/helper may be deployed for 3rd shift for which payment on pro-rta basis will be made as per item 1 above,if required.

Maintenance: Cleaning the swimming pool(inside pool walls & floors)by using special equipments like suction sweeping pump & suction brushes with required weight & cleaning & brushing the side walls & floors for removing algae & as well as floating materials including cleaning the balancing and raw water tank as & when required all as per specifications & as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. a)The pool shall be maintained free from sediments,dirt, hair & algae,etc. b)No furniture,plants or other furnishing shall be placed within 1.2m of the pool c)Doors or gates in the swimming pool enclosure shall be closed & kept closed when swimming pool is closed d)Back washing & rinsing of filter units shall be carried out weekly & logbook of the same should be maintained. Note: i)The suction sweeping pump & suction brushes shall be handed over to the department after completion of the contract in working condition ii)The pool cleaner should have experience of atleast one year with adequate knowledge of swimming/diving in deep ends of pool area to be cleaned. iii)Cleaning to be carried out every Monday and Thursday or as required and directed by department

Supply of chemicals required for maintaining the water quality of the pool water including the cost and transportation & as per Annexure C Note:- All materials shall be of reputed & approved make generally used by leading swimming pools
