The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The similar nature of work includes any type of civil work such as building up to G+4, structural work, pipeline, underground and overhead tanks, foundation treatment works, earthwork, cover over platform, bore wells, level crossing works, and cement concrete apron works. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The values and percentages mentioned include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of the tender - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work with no previous work experience required. In case of substantially completed work, payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. The overall cost including the PVC amount (if paid) is considered for fulfillment of technical credentials. For partnership firms, the credentials of individual partners from previous firms are considered to the extent of their share in the previous entity and their share in the newly formed partnership firm. For example, if a partner had 30% share in the previous entity and 20% share in the present partnership firm, their credentials are considered to the extent of 0.3*0.2*value of the work done in the previous entity.
