Supplying and changing of corroded worn-out and loose rivets of any size at any location of the bridges with or without traffic blocks including all tools, plants, machinery complete in all respects. For Rivets of size up to 25mm dia.

Galvanisation of Railway's Chequered Plates, Channels, Plates, Angles, and I-Section by hot dip process with Zinc Coating and mass of Zinc coating shall not be less than 705 g/sqm and galvanisation thickness shall not be less than 100 microns including necessary surface preparation as 5 per Clause-4 of IS:2629-1985. Galvanisation shall be done as per IS:2629-1985 and IS:4759-1996 with Zinc conforming to IS:209-1992, duly taking all the measures for safeguarding against embrittlement of hot-dip galvanised iron and steel products as per IS:6158-1984 with all contractor's labour, material, tools, plant, all lead, lift and crossing of tracks etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer in-charge.

Supply fabrication and erection of steel members to replace existing corroded members of builtup section made up of MS plates, angles, channels of different thickness and sizes incl. Painting with 0ne coat ready mix Zinc chromate conforming to IS:104 followed by one coat of Zinc chromate red oxide conforming to IS:2074 and one heavy coat of ready mix red oxide onforming 6 to IS:123. Structual steel should conform to IS:2062 Gr'B'. Fabrication and erection to be as per existing design initially by bolts and nuts and finally by rivetting during the sanctioned traffic block. Payment for rivets and rivetting to be made seperately. Rate includes cutting of new steel work, drilling for rivetting, dismantling of any existing members required for inserting fabricated members, fixing of new fabricated built up members, fixing of new fabricated built up members with all tools, plants, labour, consumables, machinery and accessories etc. work will be executed as per IRS:B1- 2001.

Supplying, fabrication and fixing in position, chequered plates confirming to IS:3502 including supply of black bolts with nuts & washers confirming to IS:1363 with all contractors labour, tools & plants etc. complete in all respect.

Accurate marking with the template and then drilling of 21.5 mm to 23.5 mm dia. holes with the contractor's labour, tools, plants & equipment etc. complete as per the specifications, special conditions & scope of work & as directed by Engineer Incharge a) In situ drilling of holes.

Supplying and driving snap head rivets of 16 to 23.5 mm dia in the various members of the bridge, complete with contractor's labour, scaffolding, material, tools & plants etc. complete as directed by the Engineer incharge. Rivets should confirm to IS:1149, IS:1148 & IS:2062- Gr.'A'.

Shifting of bridge sleeper during traffic block by carrying out all required operation viz. Removing the faster/fittings of existing track structure along with removal of elastomeric /rubber pads 10 etc and restoration in position including fixing of elastomeric /rubber pads with approved quality epoxy material (including safety gear) for structural repairs/painting /metalizing or any other work as directed by Engg. in-charge with all contractor's labour, tools, equipments, consumables etc complete.
