Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of works within the last 7 years, with consideration given to works started prior to 7 years but completed within that timeframe. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of the tender. The value of completed works is considered, including the gross amount and PVC amount (if paid). For substantially completed works, the total gross amount already paid, including PVC amount (if paid), is considered. The overall cost including the PVC amount (if paid) of that completed work or substantially completed work, shall be considered and no separate evaluation for each component of that work shall be made to decide eligibility. In terms of specific values and percentages, the bidder should have completed works with values such as: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For substantially completed works, payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor.
