Cutting of rails with hacksaw blade true to square the rails of any any section under 13 traffic condition / laying along side the track/ at depot as directed by the Engineer-in Charge with all contractor's labour, tools, consumables with all lead and lift handling etc; complete. Drilling holes 26 to 32mm dia in rails of 90lbs & above section as per the correct 14 template with machine including champhering and as directed by Engineer - in -charge at site. Note:1. Drilling S& T Bond holes of 7.9mm dia. in rails of any section 72/90UTS to the correct 15 template with machine including champhering and as directed by Engineer - in - charge at site. with all Contractor's own equipment, machine, consumables and labour etc. complete within under traffic condition the engineer in charge at site. 75/RESC/W/10 ,dt.22.07.10 For initial lead up to 100km.

Removing the 52kg/60kg rails and fastenings including removal of fish plates with bolts and nuts etc. and stacking neatly at site with all contractors labour, tools,plant, all lead, lift, crossing of tracks etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.Agt. Removing isolated exg. 60Kg./52Kg./44.61kg. running rails and fastenings from the track in the traffic/non traffic blocks and placing the same away from the running/ non running lines and stacking the same at nominated locations material wise and class wise with contractor's labour, 17 tools, plants, loading, unloading, leading, lifting, dragging, positioning on the cess, crossing of track etc.,. complete and as directed by the engineer in charge at site. Note:- 1.Payment will be made for this item above will be released irrespective of number of rails released, and also after stacking releasedmaterial wise and classification wise at nominated places. 2. Removing existing CST-9/ST/W/PSC Sleepers and fastenings from the track with 18 contractor's labour, tools, plant, all lead, lift, crossing of tracks and stacking thereleased material classification wise and material wise at site of work complete and as directed by the Engineer-in- charge.NOTE: This item is to be operated at Isolated locations only Agt.No. 25/Sr.DEN/North/BZA/2016, dt: 28.11.2016

Removing and screening the ballast (in mid section between stations and yards excluding points and crossings) in between and around the sleepers up to a depth of 50mm without disturbing the core and to a slope of 1 in 40 on either sides from centre up to the end of the sleeper including screening of ballast in the entire shoulders up to formation level using inclined screens and removing weeds with routes and boxing of ballast to the profile specified in P.Way manual including re-adjustment of ballast by leading the excess ballast to deficient locations up to a maximum lead of 19 50M and depositing the muck as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge up to a maximum lead of 100M duly crossing the tracks, platforms etc. with all contractors' labour, tools, plant, all lead, lift etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge .Note: 1) Before execution of work specific approval of Sr.DEN/DEN has tobe obtained by SE/ P.Way through ADEN duly indicating the locations withspecific reasons along with date of last screening done. 2) The progress ofwork should be shown in the gang chart immediately after the work isdone. 3) ADEN shall test check 50% of the work done. 4) No. of menengaged daily by the contractor shall be entered in the site order book. 5)This item is to be operated for shallow screening of entire width of ballast section. 08/Sr.DEN/Lines/ HYB Dt. 02.08.2017

Removing existing points and crossing consisting of 52kg rails on PSC sleepers from running lines duly dismantling rails and sleepers , removing the ballast to the required depth and 20 stacking it on the cess, laying plain track duly spreading PSC sleepers to the spacing / rails providing the track fittings etc. as per the standard procedure for the length of the points removed, under traffic block of not more than 2 hours duration and connecting the newly laid plain track to the existing line, giving one round of kutcha packing to obtain level and line so as to allow trains at a slower speed of 20kmph safely , stacking the released materials at nominated location with out infringing to traffic with all contractor's labour, tools and plant including consumables etc. complete as per the directions of the engineer in charge. Laying and linking of BG track with 52/ 60kg. Rails on CST-9/ ST/ PSC sleepers to M+4/ M+7 density including all operations involved such as leading of permanent way materials to the site of the work, pairing of rails, assembling with sleepers to correct spacing of M+4/ M+7 density laying rails to sleepers to correct NS 571050NS 571060 gauge with rolling mark towards the direction of traffic and fastening the rails to sleepers with standard fittings linking of rail lengths of track with fish 21 plates bolts and nuts to a neat gauge of 1676mm including one initial kutcha packing to the specified column with stone/ moorum ballast as per the schedule including aligning, gauging, leveling, squaring of sleepers, boxing of ballast to the required profile, cutting of rails and drilling of holes and chamfering for shorter lengths wherever necessary, testing the with light engine or dip lorry loaded with rails weighing 15MT, rectification of defects after rolling and maintaining the track for 45 days after opening of track with all contractor's labour, tools, tackles, consumables with all lead and lift etc, complete and as per the specifications and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge including crossing of track wherever necessary.

Assembling and laying BG 1in 12/ 8.5/16points and crossings by manually or with railway machine with fan shaped PSC layout on PSC crossing sleepers with52/60 kg tongue, stock and lead rails CMS crossings and curved switches etc., with rubber pad, liners and (from stock rail joint to heel of crossing) under line block within the stipulated time complete set with all P.way fittings to BG standard by way of methods as elucidated in para 317(b) (i) and (II) of IRPWM2004 and including providing one kutcha packing, leveling, gauging, aligning and jointing the ends as per P.way code of 22 practice profiling and boxing of ballast etc., complete so as to allow the passenger trains at the restricted speed with all contractor's labour, tools, tackles, consumables etc., complete and including cutting of rails, drilling of rails and chamfering of rails for shorter lengths wherever necessary and testing the track with engine or dip lorry loaded with rails weighing 15MT, rectification of defects after rolling and maintaining the track for 45 days after opening for traffic and including crossing of tracks wherever necessary with all lead and lift etc., complete and as per specification and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge at site and including leveling the ground to required extent for assembling of points and crossings.1 in 81⁄2 Points and crossings.Agt. Packing the existing plain track/1 in 8.5/1 in 12 points and crossings track below the 24 bottom of PSC sleepers and surrounding with Crow bars/beaters to have two / Three rounds of packing to bring the track to normal speed including gauging, aligning, squaring of sleepers and sectioning of ballast to the required profile with Contractor's labour, tools etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.i) First round packing Agt.No.32/South/BZA/2016,dt.27-12-2016.

Packing the renewed isolated PSC sleepers on plain track below the bottom of the sleepers and surrounding through out its length duly opening two galas on either side of the renewed 26 sleepers with Crow bars/beaters to have three rounds of packing to bring the track to normal speed in stages including gauging, aligning, squaring of sleepers and sectioning of ballast to the required profile with all contractor's labour, tools and plant etc. including all lead and lift and crossing of tracks where ever necessary complete and as directed by the Engineer-incharge i) First packing Agt. "Packing the renewed isolated PSC sleepers on plain track below the bottom of the 28 sleepers and surrounding through out its length duly opening two galas on either side of the renewed sleepers with Crow bars/beaters to have three rounds of packing to bring the track to normal speed in stages including gauging, aligning, squaring of sleepers and sectioning of ballast to the required profile with all contractor's labour, tools and plant etc. including all lead and lift and crossing of tracks where ever necessary complete and as directed by the Engineer-incharge.

Cut and connecting both ends of the existing / new double line of straight /curved alignment on PSC sleeper track to the existing / proposed main line during line block period to the required length including cutting the existing track and slewing the existing track to facilitate joining the new alignment, slewing the pre laid diversion track in position, connecting the newly laid track to the existing / proposed main line by laying & linking BG track as required with PSC sleepers and rails and slewing the existing main line so as to have required minimum transition along the alignment, squaring of sleepers, levelling, aligning, gauging to correct gauge of 1.676 M, duly taking longitudinal 29 and cross levels including lifting the track in convenient stages to the required level to provide standard ballast cushion below the bottom of sleepers and giving three rounds of through packings and bringing the track fit for allowing the traffic at 20 KMPH speed complete with all Contractor's labour, tools, plant & machinery, consumables, all lead and lifts etc., complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineerin- charge. Note: i) The work is to be carried out under line block period and the Contractor has to arrange sufficient labour for completing the entire work of cut and connection without any difficulty within the time allowed. ii) Dumping of stone ballast, cutting of rails and drilling of holes will be paid under relevant items of schedule. iii) The quantity of steel will be arrived duly deducting 10% for Cl.III and 5% for Cl.II materials on theoretical weight. No extra for welding/bolts will be added. LOA No W/CON/496/NDKD-KHI/L&L/5990/WC-3 dated 27.02.2017.

Deploying 4 men for protection of Track at work spot as per the procedure elucidated 30 in chapter VIII of the IRPWM 1986 Second reprint 2004 of Indian Railway during the works of long /short duration with all contractor's equipment, fuel, labour tools etc. complete as per the directions of the engineer at site. Deploying one man for Piloting of trains during day and night @ 3 shifts of 8 hrs per 31 day with all contractor's consumables, equipment such as tri colour hand signal lamps , Hand signal flags, labour etc. complete and as per the directions of the engineer at site. Deploying one set of black smith set consisting of one highly skilled artisan blacksmith, two semi skilled and one unskilled artisan for 12 hrs every day for attending the setting 32 of points on nominated day, associate with S&T department along with all tools required for attending the point failures arising out of civil Engineering in the normal course of working so as to avoid signal failures and detention to the trains as per the directions of the engineer in charge at site with all contractor's labour, tools and plant etc. complete. Providing one PW supervisor not less than the grade of retired PWS for undertaking the track work and to ensure safety at work spot from the day of starting the track work in running track to till the final handing over of the track to open line after completion of the track works to SSE/PW duly taking instructions from time to time.Ref: Agt No.75/RESC/W/10 ,dt.22.07.10.

Providing round the clock watch and ward to the PW Materials taken over from various sources, from the day of stacking the materials to till the final disposal of the balance materials to the 35 DSK or SSE/PW concerned.( Two men must be arranged per day with a shift duty of 12hrs as per general practiced in Railways excluding the rest giver who also has to look after the duties once in a week thus the number of man days works out to @ 2 men per day for 90 days=180 man days) Ref: Agt No.75/RESC/W/10 , dt.22.07.10

Supply of 50mm metal stone ballast (machine crushed) including collection from quarries outside the Railway limits at the site shown by the Engineer-in-charge for measurements 36 with all lead and lift and spreading 50mm metal stone ballast to the required cushion for track lifting, packing and giving final packing after testing and sectioning the ballast to the standard profile and attending the alignment, gauge level etc., and as directed by the Engineer in- charge with all lead and lift.

Fusion welding of Class-I / Class-II Rail Joints including supply of portions, consumables etc., by Alumino Thermic SKV process to IRS specification No. T - 19 - 1994 with latest amendments 37 and manual of fusion welding of Rails by Alumino Thermic process 1988 (with Air petrol pre-heating / compressed air petrol pre-heating techniques and latest amendments) complete including painting of Rails with anti corrosive paint conforming to IS 9862 for a length of 10cm on either side of welds to the latest RDSO specifications with all contractor's.

Providing glued joints in the exg. running track under block with all Rly materials including leading the glued joints with in yard limits to the site and also leading the released cut rails 38 to the places mentioned by the Engineer-in-charge and stacking both upto a maximum lead of 500M by cutting the existing rails on both sides and inserting the glued joint and fish plates with clamps with contractors labour, tools with all lead and lifts etc., complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
