Supply of Thermo shrink Cable Jointing kit (Reinforced) TSF-2 type generally 3 conforming to RDSO specification RDSO/SPN/TC/57/2015 Rev 1 with modified kit contents as per CSTE's Specification No.CR/SPN/TC/57(A)/2015 Dt. 06.01.2015 (Table-A) to be suitable for jointing both 10/20/50 pair PIJF and 4/6 Quad cables along with sub-kit (Table-B) for armour continuity. (Inspection by Consignee).

Laying of signalling/Power/Telecom cable of various cores/sizes in trenches.

Wherever depth of 0.5M cable trench is not feasible, cable shall be protected as under:- Preparation of cement mixture 1:3:6 with contractor's own materials and spreading cement concrete mixture layer of 100 mm thick over the already laid cables in the excavated trench.

Preparation of final bulit up cable laid plan on auto cad for the section. This includes supply of necessary documents ontracing paper along withfive prints of cable routeplan, jointing schedule, cable hut wiring diagram, emergency socket, manholes etc. The contractor shall also do the preparation of cable route plan, cable corage plan, location particulars, cable termination, cable 2 meggering report, earth resistance particulars, and any other drawing in AutoCAD in A3/A4 size.The contractor shall essentially supply two set of cable route plan complete for approval of Railway. Railway will return one set to contractor duly approved with alteration, correction if any. Contractor shall incorporate Railway altereation/correction in the tracing without any deviation and submit all tracings completed in all respect to the Railway. This include submission of final cable route plan ( Five copies ) as per laid cable duly measured at every 30meters clearly indicating distance of laid cable from fixed point of reference and indicating all track crossing and joint location.

Supply and installation of RFID based Electronic cable/ pipe marker 22.5 cms dia 1.5m depth range, 10 Digit Hexadecimal ID code 101.4khz frequency. Make: Stanlay, 3M or eqivalent. Inspection -Supply by Rites, Execution by Consignee.

Supply and Placing of Polyolefin Cable channel of size, Width 240/340 mm, Height 8 155/230 internal/external, length 1 m produced of polyolefin with Fire protection class k-1 in accordance with DIN-53438 Part II for laying Signalling/Telecom cables, channel attachable to each other with male-female swallow tail connectors and having suitable detachable cover. Inspection - Supply by Rites, Execution by Consignee.

Excavation of cable trench as per cable route plan,1.0 mt. deep and 300mm wide along side the track in hard soil, conforming to distances as per cable route plan and refilling after cable laying. This work includes covering of cable laid in trench by loose soil for a layer of 50mm 2 thickness after clearing of route, bushes etc. It shall be ensured that top of the cables laid is at a depth of 0.8m or more. If it is less, then the width and depth shall be suitably increased and accordingly proportionate payment shall be made. In case depth of trench is not achievable due to site conditions proportionate payment will be made as per procedure. The work shall be done as per the extant practice on Central Railway and instructions of Railway Engineer at site.

Supply of HDPE Telecom Duct, solid permanently lubricated as per RDSO specification RDSO/SPN/TC/45/2013 Rev.2.0 or latest in the roll of 1000 mtrs. (Inspection by RDSO).

Laying of GI pipes in on bridges/culverts/concrete drawin/mountain ridges etc. with 8 suitable GI bend shall be provided where there is turning of pipe as per the instruction of Site engineer. GI clamps at every 2m as shown in the drawing to be fixed. Suitable holes to be made in the pipe before laying as per the instruction of the site engineer 10mm dia.

Blowing/Drawing of OFC cable in HDPE/DWC duct and protective work, as per direction of site engineer.

Laying of DWC/RCC pipes alongwith collars/RCC Half round pipes in trenches at places of track and road crossings, platform cuttings etc. 6

Horizontal boring of cable duct of minimum 2.0 Mtr. depth alongwith laying of 120mm HDPE pipe for track crossing with minimum depth reckoned from the bottom of the rail/road crossing with minimum depth reckoned from ground level. The work shall be done as per extant practice & 11 instructions of site Engineer. Prepration of site for Horizondal boring shall be carried out in presence of Railway Representative. HDPE will be supplied by Railways. Note:- Contractor shall provide all material required for boring and adequate nos. of labours for proper laying of cables into the bore. Cable shall be laid cautiously so that it should not get damage due to rough handling & pressure on cable. 12

Making of Thermoshrink straighht through/derivation/ transformer /PIJF cable joint for underground jelly filled cable 6quad/4quad/20 pair, 10 pair etc. PIJF cable as per the instruction of Rly engineer at site.

Supply and installation of RFID marker locator, 8000 marker records, built in GPS module, 1.5m depth range 4x20 digits LCD display with all accessories and bag to carry. Make: Stanlay, 3M or eqivalent. Inspection -Supply by Rites, Execution by Consignee.

Cutting of rock using hand compressor & making chase as per cable route plan ofdepth ranging from 0. 4 m to 0. 2 m deep, 300 mm wide along the side of track and restoring it to the original shape.

Supply of DWC HDPE pipe with one snap fit coupler and 'O' ring fire resistant, anti rodent, in 6 meter length of size 120 mm outer dia as per RDSO/SPN/204/2011 Ver. 1.1 with Amd.1 or latest. (Inspection by Consignee).

Splicing/ dropping/termination of each fiber/pigtail in LIU/IO box/terminal joint through fusion splicing for termination of OFC cables. The fibers terminated shall be tested and test report (hard copy and soft copy) shall be submitted to the Railways site in-charge for records. each fiber shall be properly marked with necessary ferrules/tags, as per following specification: i) The optical fibre cables shall be entered in to the rack through cable entry and using the cable guides. ii) The loosened ends of the fibres and pigtails shall be properly prepared for termination in to the already 5 fixed LIU. iii) Each of the fibre shall be spliced with a pigtail by the method of fusion splicing using a Fusion Splicing Machine of standard reputed make. The splicing shall be done carefully by a skillful person. iv) The splices shall be carefully placed and well secured in the splice trays of the LIU. v) Each fiber / pigtail shall be properly marked with necessary ferrules/tags. vi) The extra length of the fibers / pigtails shall be coiled and placed and secured with cable ties. vii) The optical connectors of the pigtails shall be placed into the patch panel as per the numbering of fibers. viii) All of the terminated fibers shall be tested with OTDR and test report (Hard copy and Soft copy) shall be submitted to the Railways site In-charge for records.

Laying of HDPE duct in trench and its protective work as per direction of site engineer.

Laying of GI pipes inside the excavated trench in rocky area /less depth area as per 9 instructioin of Site engineer. GI clamps at every 2m as shown in the drawing to be fixed. Suitable GI Bend/Coupling and holes to be made in the pipe before laying as per the instruction of the site engineer.

Digging of trench 1.0 M deep from rail flange/road level (for LC) and 0.3Mtrs. to 0.6 4 Mtrs wide and back filling after placing of DWC/RCC/GI pipe.(Placing of DWC/RCC/GI pipe coverd separately. The ballast disturbed be screened and dressed as required by Engineer-in-charge or his representatives and road tarred immediately.
