In the case of subletting work, the subcontractor must have completed at least one similar work costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted within the last 5 years, unless the subletting work costs up to Rs 50 lakh, in which case no prior experience is required. The definition of similar work includes various types of civil work such as building up to G+4, structure work, pipeline, underground and overhead tanks, and more. Additionally, the bidder's prior work experience is also related to their financial eligibility, which involves having a minimum average annual contractual turnover. The values and percentages mentioned for similar works completed include 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender or each component of the tender, as well as 35% of the value of the work to be subletted. A specific value of Rs 50 lakh is also mentioned as a threshold for subletting work where no prior experience is required.
