Extra for every additional lift of 1.5m or part there of in excavation/banking excavated or stacked materials

a) Ordinary of hard rock

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.

Excavating holes more than 0.10 cum & upto 0.5 cum including getting out the excavated soil, then returning the soil as required in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering etc, disposing of surplus excavated soil, as directed within a lead of 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

(a) All kinds of soil

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

a) 1:2:4 (1cement : 2coarse sand (zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Erection,testing and commissioning of 40 metre high four legged, ground based self-supporting narrow base communication tower using availabale tower material (Weight of Tower upto 10.00MT) at BSNL store, as per approved drawing and specifications with all its necessary components which include ladder, working platform with railing, carrier and fastenings, gantry, cable feeder rack, antenna fixtures, hexagonal nuts and bolts,springwashers,foundation anchornuts,baseplates,waveguiderack and support etc. all complete as per the directions of the

Note:-(i)Tower materials including all the members, bolts & nuts will be supplied by BSNL free of cost.

(ii)Rate includes cost of all operations involved in hoisting and erection of tower including hire charges of tools, plants and machineries etc. and is inclusive of cost of all type of labours including skilled, unskilled, highly skilled labours, technicians etc. with insurance premium of all the workers employed by the agency and also includes straightening of any bent tower materials, matching holes of members / gusset plates and nothing extra will be paid on any account whatsoever.

(iii) The erected tower will have to meet the tower erection

(iv)Tower Erection may be carried out inhabitant area; hence the agency has to ensure extreme precaution during the execution of the work to prevent any accident/injury/harm/damage to any human or animals or property or trees and plants etc. at al lcost. If any mishap happens due to negligence of the agency, he will be held sole responsible for the damage and will have to face the law and bear the cost as well. The agency has to insure the labours involved in the work and submit the insurance documents to the office before commencement of the erection work. (Note:- The work is to be offered to A/T. Any rectification required are to be carried out as per their requirements. The rate is inclusive of conducting Acceptance and testing from the competent authority and nothing extra wiil be paid on any account.

Painting of 40m high self-supporting tower with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture as per international Civil aviation rules (International white & orange ) over one coat of Zinc Chromate Yellow primer all as pe rdirection of Engineer-in-charge. The rate is inclusive of painting of all tower materials including platform, antenna mount, ladder, vertical and horizontal tray, post etc. and will have to get insurance premium of all the workers employed by him on painting.

Supplying deficient tower materials (due to Shortage / unserviceable materials on Account of material recovered from dismantling of tower) at site. The material required for tower, ladder, wave guiderack, antenna fixtures, pipe stand for lightening arrester, nuts, bolts, etc. as required shall be provided as per drawings in required lengths including drilling holes for bolts etc. in exact conformity with the approved drawings and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

NOTES:

1.All tower materials shall be hot dipped galvanized. The tower materials, fabrication and galvanizing shall be as per relevant BIS and SERC specifications.

2. Measurements: Weight of individual member shall be worked out on the basis of linear measurements and standard coefficients. Nuts, bolts and washers shall be measured for payment.

Mechanical Transportation of 40Metre tower material (Approx. 10.00MT weight ) from BSNL store to the site including loading, transportation from store to site, unloading, carriage from roadside to worksite & stacking the same, making security arrangement against theft/lossetc., allied activities all complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge.

a) Upto 20 km ( For approx. 10.00 M.T. tower material)

b) Beyond 20km

Providing and fixing marker plate of Size 0.9MX0.60M made up of MS sheet 0.50 mm thick and MS angles 25x25x5mm alround including painting the plate & angles with sythetic enamel paint and Zinc chromate primer and lettering with synthetic enamel paint near base of the tower/at the specified height indicating its height, weight, date of erection, type of antenna etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying & laying Charcoal required for Ring earth as per specification given by the Department in excavated trench in layers of required thickness below and above GI strips as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Supplying & spreading crystal salt required for Ring earth as per specifications given by the Department in excavated trench mixed with charcoal below and above GI strips as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing lead strips of size 50X50X1 mm at joints of GI earthing strips as per direction of Engineer In Charge.

Providing and fixing copper Lightening arrester of 1500mm length, 25mm dia, hollow tube and of wall thickness not less than 1.60 mm including tinning the bottom portion of the spike for a length of not less than 150mm and connecting to the G.I. strip of size 50 x 3mm of earthing by means of clamps and 2nos 10mm dia brass bolts and nuts all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The lightening spike shall be fixed to the tower with Teflon sheetto avoid direct contact with the tower.

Providing and fixing LED aviation obstruction lamp (with 55 LED Bulbs) of Saraj, Binoy, Aviads, Litten or equivalent make with light dependent resistance sensor (day and night automatic timer) with necessary MS brackets and MCB switches, clamps etc., complete, all as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying & laying of 2x1.5 Sqmm armoured copper conductor Cable "Armoured ISI PVC Insulated & sheathed cable" of approved quality and brand including copper terminations/ Lugs etc. all complete as per directions of Engineer- in-charge. Sheath earthing for the armoured cable shall be done at minimum of two points on the tower as per the standards specified.

Supplying fixing hot deep galvanised GI flats,plates,nut bolts for tower earthing complete , as per direction of Engineer in Charge

Making plate earthing as per the following specifications.

1] Excavation for two pits of size 1.20 x 1.20mt upto 1.50m depth & 0.90X0.90m below 1.50m upto 3.00m from ground level (total 3.0 mt deep) at diagonally opposite to tower legs as follows. (Cost of excavation will be paid in separately in item of excavation)

2] Providing G.I. Plates of size 600x600x6mm in each pit including filling the pit with charcoal 100 Kg and salt 60 kgs. for G.I. plate earth electrode in layers & with cohesive soil for remaining pit, providing & fixing 20mm dia G.I. pipe with funnel for watering, funnel to be provided with grating/mesh at top.

3] All the G.I. plate electrode and G.I. flat interconnected with G.I. nuts and bolts and finally G.I. flats connected to ring earth / lightning arrester etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

4) Constructing 230 mm thick brick masonry chamber 0.30m.X0.30 M inside size and height upto 0.30 m, 12 mm C.M.plaster internally including bottom surface and 15 mm external plastering in CM 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) with RCC cover and RCC frame as directeted by Engineer in charge. (Note :- The rate includes all the operations and materials involved and nothing extra will be paid on any account). (Note:- The work is to be offered to A/T. Any rectification required are to be carried out as per their requirements. The rate is inclusive of conducting Acceptance and testing from the competent authority and nothing extra wiil be paid on any account)

Fabricating & Supplying of hot dip galvanised bolts and nuts of grade 5.6 and as per IS- 12427 including spring washers/plain washers of required diameters and length for mobile tower erection etc. complete as directed by Engr-in- Charge.

Credit for Recovered unserviceable GI Members, G.I. Nuts & Bolts etc complete

Dismembering / Dismantling of 40 Mtr ground based tower (from top to bottom) Approx. weight 10 MT, as and where available, including dismembering of all members and fittings by removing the nuts and bolts including stacking in order of all members, Runway ,ladder, earthing flat,wave guide,antena , cables, accesaries, nut-bolts and other materials of towers at site carefully within 50m lead and making the site clear all complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge. (Rate is inclusive of all operation for engaging labour, T&P, ropes, scaffolding involved for dismantling of tower, clearing of jungle/ grass at site, if required,Dismentling of cement concrete if required for dismembering of tower and its accesories,counting of members or parts and preparation of list, stacking the tower material at required locations all complete.) All necessary arrangements & precautions shall be made during dismantling of tower for safety of life and property including necessary insurance cover for laboureres and third party. Nothing extra shall be paid on any account.) Note: Before start of Dismantling of Tower the agency has to submitt the List of unavauilable /missing members of the tower( to be dismentaled)to the Engineer-In-Charge)
