CLEANING JUNGLE: Clearing Jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared as per specifications and as directed by the EIC. SURFACE DRESSING: Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and in levelling not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish at a lead up to 50 M in all kinds of soil complete as per specifications and as directed by the EIC. HIRE CHARGES OF HYDRA / JCB for debris cleaning, site cleaning, trimming of Tree Branches during Monsoon Preparedness or as & when required during emergency in monsoon period etc. complete as directed by Engineer In-Charge. Note: Contractor should bring/arrange the required HYDRA/JCB at site withing next 2days. Failing which Penalty may be imposed as per Tender Clauses / NIT Stipulations. Providing, supplying "JCB" loader cum excavator, including operator and helper for executing the work like excavation, grading, levelling, debris cleaning and other works all as directed by Project Engineer as and whenever required. Note: 1. The rate shall be inclusive of Machine, Fuel, Operator, Driver, Helper and other consumables etc. The contractor is required to engage skilled driver / Operator possessing valid driving license (For JCB/Excavator/Loader). 2. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision is final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 3. The cost of POL, maintenance of vehicle including replacement of parts, fuel, etc., wages of driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by contractor and BARC shall have no liability towards usage of the vehicle. 4. The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, exncluding Goods & Service taxes (GST). 5. Log book duly countersigned by Engineer-In-Charge to be maintained. 6. Breakdown hours and lunch break timing shall not be considered for the payments. 7. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at time of preparing the bill. 8. BARC being a strategic Organisation, all the operators, drivers should have good credentials and shall have valid Police Verification Certificate, Driving licenses and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English 9. Cost of damages to any Government movable/ immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the contractor. 10. The contractor shall follow all security rules & regulations of BARC issued from time to time and no claim, whatsoever, will be entertained in this regard. 11. The driver and the labourers shall work as per the instructions given by the departmental Officers. 12. Advance intimation will be given to the contractor about the requirement. 13. The contractor shall take the signature of the departmental authorities on duty completion slip daily after completion of the work. 14. The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to ontractor persons while executing the job. 15. The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra.

LEAD CHARGES FOR LEAD from 3 KM to 4 KM: Lead charges for lead exceeding 3 km but not exceeding 4 km by mechanical transport includinmg loading, unloading, stacking, levelling etc. Note: 1. The rates in respect of Item are applicable for NET Quantities arrived at after making deduction for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and 30% in respect of debris from corresponding STACK/TRUCK Measurement. 2. Trasporting of debris at disposal ground, disposing, stacking, leveling & statutery charges if any will be responsibility of the Contractor and no extra charges shall be paid for the same. 3. Contractor should clear the debris/traces within 3days after getting instruction from EIC.

CLEANING OF GULLY TRAPS: Cleaning of Gully Trap / Gully Chambers and stoneware pipes upto adjoining Inspection Chamber and CI pipes from Nahani trap to Gully trap. The rates are inclusive removing and refixing CI cover of Gully Trap / Gully Chambers.

CLEANING OF INSPECTION CHAMBERS, MANHOLES OF SEWAGE LINE: Cleaning of Sewage Manholes / Inspection Chambers of canteen, toilets, sewage line etc. carefully by mechanical means or with sewage cleaning tools complete all as directed by EIC. Pipe in between chambers will be measured seperately. The rates are inclusive of removing muck, solids and disposing the same beyond 2 km distance. Pumping arrangement for water is to be made by contractor at his own cost. Note: The rates including the cost of pumping as required if any, PPE of the workers, Polythene bags for storing/holding/packing the traces/debris and bring them to designated dumping yard.

CLEANING OF SEWAGE PIPE LINE: Cleaning and removal of sewage or drainage wastes, muck etc. from horizontal, sloping RCC/CI/PVC lines of all dia. (burried undergroung/under roads/exposed) connecting to sewage inspection chambers, manhole chamber etc. by mechanically / manually as desired by EIC including cost of labour, tools, machines, transportation etc. Note: The rates including the cost of pumping as required if any, PPE of the workers, Polythene bags for storing/holding/packing the traces/debris and bring them to designated dumping yard.

CLEANING OF SEPTIC TANK OR SEWAGE COLLECTION SUMP: Cleaning of Sewage Collection Sump / RCC septic tank / Hume Pipe Septic Tank of various size by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Vehicles. The rates are inclusive of removing silt, muck, solid material etc. and disposing the same by mechanical transport beyond 1-2 km. lead complete all as directed by EIC. Pumping arrangement for water is to be made by contractor at his own cost. The rates are inclusive of pumping. Note: Measurement will be as per Sewage Collection Tank / Septic Tank dimensions and solid waste depth will be measured for payment. Contractor should bring/arrange the required Sewage Transportation Vehicle from MCGM withing next 2days. Failing which Penalty may be imposed as per Tender Clauses / NIT Stipulations.

LEAD CHARGES FOR MATERIALS, SLUDGE REMOVED FROM SEPTIC TANK/MANHOLES/INSPECTION CHAMBERS and any other areas of BARC by mechanical transport or by using BRIHANMUMBAI MUNICIPAL CORPORATION vehicles for lead exceeding 2 km but not exceeding 3 km including loading, unloading stacking and levelling ete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. There will be no deductions for voids.

LABOUR CHARGES FOR CLEANING UNDERGROUND TANK/OVERHEAD WATER TANK by using approved cleaning chemicals/agents, coir brush including bailing out of stagnant muddy water, slush etc. with all the cost of cleaning agent, brushes bucket and all other accessories complete and disposing the removed earth within a distance at 50 m. Puping arrangement for water is to be made by contractor at his own cost. The rates are inclusive of pumping.

Carrying out Civil Engineering works like surveying & leveling, checking of formwork fabrication, reinforcement fabrication as per drawings, witnessing sample retrieval & testing for various construction materials, ensuring concrete ingredient ratio at batching plant and pouring of appropriate grade of concrete in plain and reinforced concrete works, ensuring proper mixing of approved ingredients & waterproofing admixtures for mortars and brickwork, plaster, flooring & waterproofing works and other civil & PH works including supervision of construction safety as per BARC specifications & relevant documentation, compiling, binding and preparation of tender documents & Agreements overall as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (1) Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Degree holder Civil Engineer with 2 (Two) years experience or Diploma holder with 5 (Five) years experience (Licentiate in Civil/Construction Engineering / Technology) conducted by Board of Technical Examinations / University / Autonomous Govt. / Govt. recognized recognized Polytechnic/ Institute. (2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the Engineer will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account. (3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per month as per requirement at site for the period mentioned in NIT. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Engineer exclusively for the particular job. (5) Engineer should be engaged after scrutiny by EIC of CSS, BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed Engineer will report to BARC Engineer/ EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before change of engineer is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1,915/- per day of shortfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor.

CARRYING OUT MANUAL MISC. PLUMBING / CIVIL / SEWERE CLEANING / CARPENTRY / MASONRY WORKS JOBS like minor repairs, fixing fitting and fixtures etc. as and when required and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Notes: (1) Supplying man power along with necessary pans, spades, shovels, pickaxe, punjas, ropes, small special spade, rain coats, safety shoes, wheel barrow, gloves etc. (2) Payment shall be made as per the Log book duly approved by the Enginner-in-charge. (3) Contrator shall arrange necessary Police Verification Certificate for the workers engaged for these work. (4) The rates shall be including the cost of Minimum Daily Wages of the Workers including EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Facility, Accidental Insurance Cover, Medical Insurances, Applicable Taxes, Cess, GST etc. Payment of this Item will be paid based up on the produced document of online salary transfer to the bank account of the labours. (5) Payment of this Item will be paid by-monthly/quarterly based up on the produced document of online salary transfer to the bank account of Labour/Worker including successful payment/transfer of their contribution of EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Facility, Accidental Insurance Cover, Medical Insurances, Applicable Taxes, Cess, GST & OT etc. (6) Contractor shall have to provide 2 pairs of complete dress i.e. 2 sets of Shirt & Pants to each Labour /Worker, Dress Code as approved by the EIC and Labour/Worker use those dress for their working hours only. Labour/Worker should regularly come for the work in a cleaned dress as provided to them.

The above rates shall be inclusive of cost of supply of Pick-up Van / Utility Van, Fuel, wages of Drivers and other consumables etc. 2. The Reporting time at the place of duty / as instructed by EIC shall be considered for the billing / measurement / payment. 3. Break Down Hours as per actuals and Lunch break (30 min.) timings shall not be considered for payment. 4. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at the time of preparing the Running / final bills 5. BARC being a restricted place, the driver should have good credentials and shall have valid Police Verification / Clearance Certificate (PVC), driving license and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English / local language. 6. The make and model of the vehicle should not be more than 8 years old, roadworthy with all valid documents. 7. The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically for safe and incident-free driving. 8. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision shall be final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 9. The vehicle should be a transport vehicle and preferably in white colour with a board "ON GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DUTY". 10. The cost of POL, maintenance and servicing of vehicle including replacement of parts, payment to the driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability on these accounts. 11. The cost of damages to any Government movable/immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the Contractor. 12. The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, excluding Goods & Service taxes (GST). 13. The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel.
