Extraction and testing of concrete drill dust samples from the structure. Three drill dust samples from depths 0-15mm, 15-30mm and 30-45mm shall be colleted from each location. The samples shall be tested for chlorides, sulphates, PH and alkalinity.

Conducting carbonation depth test study on the structure.

Extraction of concrete (75mm dia) cores from locations specified and testing for crushing strength, water absorption & unit weight. The quoted rate shall include charges for filling back the core with polymer modified mortar and finishing etc. complete.

Conducting profometer scan at specified location of the structure for reinforcement steel location, size and cover measurement, etc. complete.

Conducting Linear Polarisation Resistance test at all locations to assess the risk of corrosion including exposing the reinforcement for carrying out the test. The test shall be conducted as per BIS/ASTM specifications. The quoted rate shall include charges for filling back areas chipped for exposing the reinforcement with polymer modified mortar and submission of test reports. 5(Five) potential observations taken at one location will form a unit for measurement purposes.

Preparation and submission of two copies of draft report as specified followed by five copies of final report along with a soft copy of the same on diskete covering Non Destructive test observations, analysis, interpretations and conclusions of NDT observations, drawing out measures for durability make up, estimation of repair quantities, rate, rate anlysis for major repair items. Note: 1. The building height is approx. 20 height of highbay area. The rates quoted for item No. 1 to 8 shall include preparation of test area, making good the areas with polymer modified mortar, disposing of debris and necessary scaffolding arrangements for testing.

Supplying of unskilled man power / labour for loading / unloading, area cleaning and miscellaneous civil works etc including cost of equipment whichever is required at site.

Providing and fixing double tubular scaffolding system using H- frames/APS system or (cup lock type) on the exterior side upto seven storey made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in - charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

Structural repairs works with pre-packed dual shrinkage controlled (volume stable in wet & hardened state), single-component ready-to-use, structural grade high build, alkali-resistant, fibre reinforced, thixotropic polymer modified repair mortar having excellent bond strength to old damaged concrete structures / surfaces by the following process: 1) Removal of loose/spalled or damaged concrete by chipping and cleaning the concrete surface to open up to 20mm behind the reinforcement steel with wire brush and with clean water including removal of dirt, paint, wax, oil, grease, laitance, foreign substances, etc. Mechanically profile and prepare concrete surfaces by abrasive blasting, water jetting or other engineer approved methods 2) Cleaning the rebars with Acetone for complete rust removal and washing with water to make the surface clean. Ensure that the concrete substrate and ambient temperatures are between (10°C and 35°C) before application 3) Applying protective coat / bond coat using Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) polymer and cement in the proportion of 1: 1 (1 part of polymer : 1 parts of cement). 4) Mixing full 25 Kg bag with clean potable water in water to product ratio of 0.12 to 0.18, mixed by heavy-duty slow speed (300 to 600 rpm) drill with spiral mixing paddle or forced action pan mixer pan for 3 minutes to achieve uniform lump free mortar consistency. 5) Applying polymer modified mortar with trowel & float. The polymer modified mortar shall have the following properties /technical parameters:(A) Properties / technical parameters of pre-packed Polymer Modified Mortar: i) Compressive strength 1 day: Min. 20 MPa (as per BS:6319 : Part 2) ii) Compressive strength 7 days: Min. 35 MPa (as per BS:6319 : Part 2) iii) Compressive strength 28 days: Min. 45 MPa (as per BS:6319 : Part 2) iv) Flexural strength in 28 days: Min. 7 Mpa (as per BS:6319 : Part 3) v) Tensile strength in 28 days: Min. 2.5 MPa (as per BS:6319 : Part 7) vi) Bond strength: Min. 5 MPa (as per ASTM : C881) vii) Water permeability: less than 1% (as per ASTM : C881) viii) Drying shrinkage in 28 days: less than 1000 microstrain (as per ASTM C 157-93) ix) Potential Alkali Reactivity - : 0.1% Expansion % ( ASTM C1260) (B) Properties / technical parameters of SBR polymer bond coat material: i) Meets the requirements of BS 6319 part 2:1983 & ASTM C 190-85 standards ii) Total solids % by mass at 105°C: 38 + 1 iii) pH value: 7.5 to 9.5 iv) Specific gravity at 27.5°C: 1 to 1.05 v) Coverage: 4.2 - 4.5 sq.m/kg per coat Notes:- (a)Placing and finishing the same with trowel / hand packing carefully compacting the same around the rebars and finishing to bring it in line with existing concrete surface on the beams, slabs, columns, etc. (b) If thickness of repair exceeds 20mm , after every 20 mm thick repair, bond coat as per process no. (3) mentioned above in the BOQ item, to be applied and further thickness of repair to be continued for each layer. (c) The surface preparation & method of application shall be as per manufacturer's technical data sheet. (d) The double tubular steel scaffolding will be paid separately in relevant item. (e) Sampling and testing of cube specimen for compressive strength test shall be as per BS 6319 - Part-2.Other tests mentioned above shall be carried out if required as per the direction of the EIC and the cost of which shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate (f) For each batch of mortar mixed, following records, i.e Quantity of mortar (kg) mixed, Amount of water added to the mix, Location of application and the area covered.(g) Payment will be paid on the basis of actual consumption of PMM & Reinforcement will be paid in the relevant item. (h) Safety Precuations:- Use wear tight-fitting, dust-resistant, chemical splash goggles and dust respirator, if airborne dust is generated, wear protective rubber hand gloves, wear appropriate clothing to prevent any possibility of skin contact. The above item of work is inclusive of all materials, labour, machinery, tools & tackels, consumables, trasportation, loading & unloading, safety PPEs etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-incharge at site using approved pre-packed polymer modified mortar suitable for structural repair works. Tentative / suggested make for the guidance of the bidder(s): M/s. BASF, Pidilite, FOSROC or equivalent.

Providing and repairing to internal plaster in cement mortar 1:4 (using crushed sand) of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area up to 2.5 sq metres including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Providing and repairing to external plastering in cement mortar 1:4 (using crushed sand) of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area up to 2.5 sq metres including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls ncluding admixtured with approved Water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement used and as per manufacturer's specifications ,sieving of sand to required fineness complete including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead

Repairs to the RCC structural members of concrete surface/RCC brackets with form finish, concrete finish using Super Fluid Micro Concrete (SFMC) general purpose approved grout powder. This shall include the operations of breaking cracked/spalled concrete members along the cracks and taking down the debris to ground level and stacking/disposal of debris with in lead of 50 mtr as directed, exposing and cleaning the reinforcement bars thoroughly by tapping wire brushing emery papering and finally by chemicals such as acetone or eqvt. and washing the surface by waterjet to remove acetone and brushing subsequently and applying a protective coat of polymer and cement mixed in the ratio of 1:1.5 ) 1 polymer : 1.5 cement ) by volume to the reinforcement bars and casting / grouting with SFMC in the proportion of grout and aggregate of quartz / granite rounded chips of aggregate of size 6 mm down graded or equivalent in the ratio of 1 powder: 0.50 aggregate by weight (100kg SFMC: 50 kg Quartz chips) (Formwork will be paid under relevant items.) after grouting curing etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-charge. Note: 1. Mode of measurement shall be in kg. of SFMC powder consumed only. 2. SFMC powder will be supplied by Contractor. 3. Protective coat to reinforcement and bond coat over adjacent concrete surface are included in the item. 4.Formwork shall be measured and paid under relevant item.

Providing, centering ,shuttering Form work using PVC film faced plywood to get a neat form finish surface for all types of structures including necessary strutting, proping, staging, supports etc and deshuttering the same after the specified time all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all levels.

For Super Structure.

Providing and applying white cement based wall putty of approved make over concrete or Plastered surface up to 3 mm thick to get uniform surface free from undulation including cleaning complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying wall painting two coats on new work with premium plastic emulsion paint of approved brand to give an even shade, including a coat of approved cement primer, including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of RCC works carefully manually without damaging adjacent structures excluding cutting of reinforcement including stacking of steel reinforcement bars and disposal of unserviceable materials within 200 m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Extra for cutting of reinforcement in RCC, stacking the same and returning the steel scrap to the departmental stores all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Reinforcement Steel for reinforced cement concrete at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules, cutting, bending, transporting, fixing, tieing in position with PVC coated G.I.binding wire all labour charges, cost of cover blocks in specified grade of concrete etc. complete as per specifications and drawings. Steel Supplied by the Contractor.

Using TMT bars of specified grades all dia bars confirming to IS 1786. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials.

Dismantling old plaster / skirting carefully , raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 100 m lead.

Lead charges for Lead Exceeding 1 KM but not exceeding 2 KM, by mechanical transport including loading, unloading, stacking / levelling etc.

Debris Beyond 1 Km but up to and including 2 km. Note: The rates in respect of this item is applicable for NET Quantities arrived at after making deduction for voids @ 30% from corresponding TRUCK Measurement.
