Cabling system

Providing and Fixing of FRLS insulated copper conductor power cable of 1.1 KV grade confirming to latest IS standard of following size on cable trays. The cable shall be clamped at regular intervls to the supports in trench or to GI cable trays or wall as required.

Cable Terminations.

Providing and Fixing of LV cable end termination for below listed cable with copper lugs, brass cable glands ( Double compression type ) tapping crimping etc complete End termination of LT cable including making holes in Glands plates and fixing the same installtion of cable glands, monor modification of terminals identifying the cable cutting, stripping of installtion separation of cable cores removing of armor earthing of armor, crimping of lugs on the conductor, supply and numbering of cores with ferrules, dressing / teeing eith ties of the cores inside the panel, connections of cable etc.,complete with testing and commissioning with all labors, tools and tackles consumables ( like insulation tape crimping paste etc) as per the drawings / specifications and direction of Engineer in charge.Returning of unsed cables to store / scarp yard are to be done by contractor.

Earthing

Providing and fixing of 1C X 16 sq mm Cu conductor armoured earth cable

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Eco safe maintenance Free Electrode of 25 mm diameter Low Carbon Steel with 250 micron molecular copper bonded earthing rod of 3 mtrs length along with carbon based environment friendly back fill ground enhancing compound required to fill up the excavated earth with required quantity. It also includes necessary accessories like nuts and bolts, test link, insulators etc. This item includes 80 mm dia drill in ground, average 8 meter depth in back filled earth and 4 meter depth in vergin earth. It also includes suitable casing for the drill at the backfilled area if required, Installation of earth electrode, connection of earth strip from electrode to test link, testing and connection complete as per code of practice IS:3043 complete. (Electrode type)

Construction of earth pit chamber for above earting of size 400 mm X 400 mm X 400 mm in brickwork & finishing plaster , The chamber cover shall be made of HDPE. The scope also includes earhting nameplate acrylic with necessary data printing as directed by engineer in charge.
