Grouting of masonry/concrete by injection process duly Sealing of cracks, through 1 nipples complete as per Technical Specification and procedure given in IRBM Para No 209 including necessary admixture. Payment shall be as per use of cement by weight in case of neat cement/cement mortar grouting and weight of Epoxy in case of Epoxy Grouting. (Cement will be paid extra). Cement Sand Mortar (1:1) Grout with 20% anti-shrinkage compound w.r.t. cement.

Supply and using Cement at Worksite Pozzolana Portland Cement approved brands/makes

PU grouting in areas of water leaking cracks and expansion joints: Providing and application of poly-urethane grouting chemical two part polyurethane resin "Nitofill UR63" or equivalent material manufactured by SIKA/FOSROC/BASF/NORMAT/SUNANDA etc. including drilling holes of 10 mm diameter at intervals i.e between 200-500mm along the length of the crack. The drilling should be done at an angle of 45 degrees to the cracks in such a way that the holes crosses the crack. The distance between each packer shall depend on the length and width of the crack. Injection packers of dia 6mm/8 mm to be supplied by the contractor should be inserted into the pre- drilled holes at intervals i.e between 200-500mm along the length of the crack and fixing with quick 1 setting compound "Renderoc Plug" or equivalent and cement. Permanent sealing with PU grout: Supply & Application of Solvent free two part polyurethane resin "NITOFILL UR63" or equivalent manufactured by SIKA/FOSROC/BASF /NORMAT/SUNANDA etc. for sealing cracks. The product is to be applied by standard resin injection equipment. The injection pressure should be at least 0.4 N/mm2 (4 bar). The product should have low viscosity and adhere strongly to dry or wet concrete. It should withstand structural differential movement. It should withstand high hydrostatic pressure and be suitable for use in high temperature conditions as well. Viscosity at 20 degree centigrade is 3 Poise. Once the injected material is hardened, all the packers should be removed and injection holes are to be sealed with rapid setting grout material including cleaning the extra grout and making the surface plain and clean complete in all respects.(Please see special condition no. 7 for technical specification)

Cost of applying minimum two coats of Walcrete OR similar make giving 2 to 3 mm thickness in walls,roofs etc. of tunnels consisting of one part high bond- 40 or similar mix by volume, 4 parts of water by volume, 11 parts of Walcrete powder or similar mix by volume to control surface 1 weathering, efflorescence etc. after first removing / cleaning of surface, efflorescence, sulphate, chlorides etc. by manual/mechanical means followed by raking out of joints in brick / stone work in lime or cement mortar up to depth of 20 to 25 mm, washing with jet pressure water & refilling with cement (1:2) mortar with High bond - 40 OR Similar make @ 5% by weight of cement including all labour, material, T&Ps, taxes, loading, unloading, leading, lifting etc. comp. job as per instructions of engineer in charge.(Also see special condition 8)

providing horizontal/inclined subsurface drain holes on the slope with perforated PVC pipe lined with non-woven geotextile of 50mm internal dia by drilling and inserting the perforated PVC pipe, complete and as directed by ENgineer-in-charge.(Please see special condition no. 9 for technical specification)

Item rate for designing, preparation of Schematic diagrams, detailed working drawings, as required by Railway administration duly proof checked by IIT/IISC for execution of work etc. The 1 drawings shall be provided on CD (Soft copy) & required minimum five copies on tracing papers. The work includes all modifications,addition,alteration if any required in plan by Railway with all specifications, all labour, material, T&Ps., site visits for classification of drawings/concept with The entire satisfaction of engineer in charge etc. complete job.(Please see special condition no. 10 for technical specification)
