Demolishing brick work in cement mortar at all levels including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50 metres lead etc. complete.

Earthwork excavation over areas in all soils except soft and hard rock by mechanical means (hydraulic Excavator)/manual means and disposing off & levelling the soil within a distance of 50 metre.

Earthwork excavation in foundations in all soils other than soft and hard rock by mechanical means (hydraulic Excavator)/manual means upto a depth not exceeding 1.5 m. including shoring and dewatering, if necessary and refilling around foundations and in plinth with selected excavated earth, in layers not exceeding 250mm thick, consolidating etc., and disposing surplus earth within a distance of 50 metre lead. (Depth of excavation shall be measured from the existing average ground level.). All complete as per drawing, specification and as directed by Engineer in-charge.

Note: The rates in respect of item no.6.0 are applicable for the net quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soils and @ 50% in respect of rock from the corresponding stack/truck measurements.

Dismantling/removing concertina barbed tape coil of 1050mm dia including MS angles posts/supports of any size & length including stacking anywhere in RRCAT campus, cutting, dismantling of concrete if any, making rolls, transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & laying in position Design Mix REINFORCED CEMENT CONRETE of M-25 grade at all heights using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size including machine mixing, weigh batching, mechanical vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing and cost of labour, machinery, and materials etc. complete as per specifications but excluding shuttering, formwork and steel reinforcement. (Minimum Cement content shall not be less than 387kg/cum of concrete.)

In foundations, footings, plinth beams, base of columns, flooring

Providing centering and shuttering using timber planks/steel plates including strutting and propping etc. at all heights and removal of the same for in situ reinforced concrete and in plain concrete work as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and placing in position REINFORCEMENT using TMT BARS of preffered make having minimum yield strength of Fe 500 conforming to IS 1786, for reinforced cement concrete work at all levels, including cutting, bending, fixing, tying in position with 1.6 mm dia. soft drawn annealed binding wire, with chairs, legs, supports etc. complete including cost of transporting the bars from factory to required location at work site, cost of 1.6 mm dia. soft drawn annealed binding wire, watch & ward, insurance etc complete all as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (The contractor has to submit the test report & Challan of the reinforcement, procured by him.)

NOTE: Binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment.

Filling under floors with 6mm and down aggregates i.e. stone churi including spreading ,watering ,ramming ,levels etc complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and laying rubber moulded reflective type factory made chamfered edge Cement Concrete interlocking paver blocks of following thicknesses in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc, of preffered make of M-35 grade strength, of approved size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand. complete all as per direction of Engineer-inCharge. Note :-The cost of sand shall be paid separately under relavant item.

Providing and fixing in position readymade PRECAST CEMENT CONCRETE Kerb Stone 80 mm thick of approved design & pattern of size 300mm x 350 mm & having a minimum compressive strength of 350 Kg/Sqcm, including the cost of excavation, necessary 1:2:4 cement concrete for embedment of kerb stone, necessary formwork if required etc. as per specifications, close jointed & pointed with cement paste including finishing the surface smooth, curing, hoisting & erecting in position etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using RHS, SHS & circular hollow sections of Grade Yst 250 as per IS: 4923 at all levels including welding, painting with a primary coat of approved steel primer and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)

Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using ISMBs, Joists, channels, angles, flats, Tees etc. at all levels including welding, painting with a primary coat of approved steel primer with two coats of painting of approved colour and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)

Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using Structural steel M.S. plain & chequered plates at all levels including welding, painting with a primary coat of approved steel primer and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)

3. Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rate.

4. All holes will be made by drilling only. Gas cutting of holes will not be permitted.

5. Electrodes of preffered make shall be used.

Labour charges only for fabricating structural steel work including plates at all levels including material transportation to site of work from Deptt. Stores, cutting to required size, fabricating including welding as required, erecting in position cost of electrodes of approved make, gas, necessary scaffolding, painting with a coat of approved steel primer etc. complete.

Brick work in cement mortar 1:6 using table moulded chimney bricks having a compressive strength not less than 40kg/cm² in foundation, plinth upto FFL and compound wall pillars including curing, raking out joints above ground level, simultaneous pointing below G.L. etc. complete as per specifications,

Sand faced plaster 20mm thick in 2 coats over exterior masonry and concrete surfaces at all heights with base coat in cement mortar 1:4, 12mm thick and finishing coat in cement mortar 1:3, 8mm thick final rendering, double scaffolding wherever necessary, hacking of concrete surfaces, curing etc. complete and addition of waterproofing compound @ 2% of weight of cement for the base coat etc. complete.

Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats of paint of approved shade and make including preparing the surfaces, removal of old paint if any, sand papering, filling with putty as required, scaffolding and cleaning, tools & tackles, safety appliances etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and preferred make as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Painting wood/steel work with two coats of Synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and made over one coat of preffered make wood/steel primer including preparing surfaces, filling with putty, scaffolding and cleaning, tools & tackles, safety appliances etc. complete

On steel surfaces

Providing fabricating, installing and fixing in position exterior grade 4mm thick aluminum composit panels of required size over aluminum framework for masking, facia, cladding etc. for liner as well as curvilinear shape for all heights and all levels etc. consisting of aluminum section of size 50x25x2mm thick tubes for frames including cutting the members to required size, fixing by aluminum angle cleats of size 50x50x2mm thick to horizontal and vertical members placed generally @600mm & 1200mm respectively as per design requirement, fixing the aluminum frame secured to walls, floor and ceiling/hang to existing frame work. The frame members shall be cladded using 4.0mm thick prime quality aluminum composite panels of approved shades made out of 3mm thick FR grade mineral core sandwitched between two aluminum sheets (each 0.5mm thick) as per preffered make using 3M-VHB tape and sealent for fixing aluminum panels/glass, necessary filling up of gaps at junctions,top, bottom and all sides by glass sealent(No.789 of preffered make) all fittings, fixtures necessary for fixing of panels, screws/revets, G.I. wire etc. making cut outs, fixing extra frame work and necessary arrangements for opening for supply/return air slit lighting fixtures etc. complete.

Providing and laying polyvinyl (PVC) rolls/tiles of preffered make company of thickness 2mm heavy duty solid vinyl flooring of approved colour, pattern and designs for flooring, skirting/dado laid on existing smooth cement tile or concrete or plastered finish, with suitable adhesive as per manufacturer's specifications, close jointed by PVC welding and finished to proper bends, slope and plumb etc. complete.

Preparing the surface and etching with 10% commercial hydrochloric acid wherever necessary, neutralising the etched areas by washing with 5% solution of soda ash, applying one coat of pigmented epoxy based primer followed by one coat of epoxy based trowelling compound, cutting and grinding the surfaces wherever necessary using waterproof quality emery paper and applying three finishing coats of epoxy based polyamine/polyamide cured special acid and alkali resistant paint of approved make & tint including preparing surfaces, scrapping, filling holes, cracks, joints, wherever necessary with epoxy based trowelling compound, cost of all materials, scaffolding and labour, tools & tackles, safety appliances and as per manufacturer's recommendations.

With POLYAMIDE cured epoxy paint

Providing & applying, at all heights, 2 coats of overall dry film thickness of 150 microns using approved shade TWO COMPONENT ALIPHATIC POLYURETHANE WALL COATING of preffered make over Polymer wall putty for smooth finish on entire surface area of wall including preparing the surface etc complete as per drawing, generally as per manufacturer’s recommendation / specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and supplying fire resistance partition of 60mm thickness as per BS 476 & IS 3614 STABILITY & INTEGRITY as per 2 criteria. The partition should be made of 16 gauge hot rolled galvanized steel sheet. The partition thickness should be 60mm having infill fire resistance material like honeycomb kraft paper/rockwool. The partition should have stiffeners at regular intervals so as to provide strength. The partition should be able to withstand fire for 120 minutes. It should be coated with 2 layers of zinc phosphate primer and one layer of thermosetting polyurethane paint of 60-65 microns(DFT). The partitions should be joined together with Tee astragals with flush bolts/rivets to join them. All joints should have intumcent gasket/ Fire seal to prevent smoke and flame coming out. All complete as per specifications drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : The test certificate for fire resistant partitions from authorised testing agency shall be submitted by the bidder.

Providing, supplying and Fixing Double leaf fire door as per BS 476 & IS 3614 stability & integrity as per 2 criteria; FRAME PROFILE : 143mm X 57mm X 1.5mm; SHUTTER : 46mm thickness having 1mm GI sheet on both sides; filled inside with honeycomb Kraft paper/rockwool. The door should be able to withstand fire for 120 minutes. The door should painted with two coats of Zinc phosphate primer and one layer of thermosetting polyurathane paint of 60-65 microns(DFT). including hinges, Aldrops tower bolts etc. All joints should have intumcent gasket/ Fire seal to prevent smoke and flame coming out. All complete as per specifications drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : The test certificate for fire resistant doors from authorised testing agency shall be submitted by the bidder.

Providing & applying 2mm thick POLYURETHANE HYBRID FLOORING using of prefered make Heavy Duty floor finish Polyurethane concrete system consisting of primer coat of prefered make and 2mm thick Self smoothing topping of prefered make along with rectification of any pot holes present in existing floor with suitable and similar filling material. The surface should be prepared with anchor grooves 8mm x 8mm along the perimeter of the floor and around drains, machine legs, columns etc. in the specified area, complete as per drawing, generally as per manufacturer’s recommendation /as per drawing, specifications and preferred make as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.. Note: The rate includes cost of all materials, labour, GST & all other taxes, scaffold, tools & tackles, safety appliances , arranging test & submitting test report depicting performance on parameters like Compressive Strength (MPa) (IS9162 1979) ) : 51, Flexural Strength(MPa) (S9162-1979 ) : 18 N/mm2,Tensile Strength(Mpa) (IS9162- 1979 ) : 7 etc all complete.

Providing and fixing in position virtrified parking tiles of 12 to 15mm thick prefered make of size 300mmx300mm or more of approved color, pattern and design for flooring, skirting or dado laid in floor, wall of existing concrete or plastered surface over 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 bedding close jointed and pointed with matching slurry @ 3.30 kg/sqm using white cement with pigments finished to levels, slope or plumb as required including cement mortar bedding, cutting of tiles to required size and curing, acid washing etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
