YARD LEVELING BY KOPRA FILLING AND LAYING OF YARD 100 MM THICK METALLING WITH 40 MM SIZE B.T. IN BRICK INCASED AREA PLACED VERTICAL 100 MM ABOVE THE GROUND AND REMAINING PART OF THE BRICK KEPT INSIDE THE GROUND. As per the topography of the land it will be required to be leveled to arrive at the final leveled surface required for morrum spreading and metalling .The yard shall be leveled up to 150mm above average 'pacca'road level.The quanitity of leveling shall vary from place to place .For Leveling the contractor will be required to execute cutting and filling of earth up to the final level.The Leveling shall include excavation of soil within yard area and filling of selected earth from with watering and compaction in layers.No payment will be made separately for transportion of suitable earth filling. YARD METALLING & MOORUM SPREADING: A sketch depicting these details is enclosed herewith .Yard metalling shall be executed using curb-stone of size 450x600x75 mm size.Switchyard area (covering buses ,power transformer ,station transformer,breakers,Isolator,capacitor bank,Lightning arresters ,gantry structure at 33 KV as well at 11 KV side etc.) is to be cleaned ,leveled and filled with 120mm thick layer of moorum followed by 80 mm bed of hard metal stone 40 mm size.The stone should not have stone dust /particles of less than defined size.The metal should be of best quality .Before filling surface should be cleaned and leveled.Gravel filling shall be up to one meter beyond the structure gantry area.Before providing gravel on the leveled surface ,employer's clearance must be obtained by the contractor .suitable measure may be taken to stop possibillity of spreading of stone beyond defined area may be by means of providing curb stone (450x600x75 mm) As per enclosed drawing No.4

150 MM DIA TUBEWELL After resistivity survey, The final location of the tube well will be finalized by The Engineer-in-charge, tube well shall be drilled with a minimum 150 mm dia, with M.S. MS SIGN BOARD,BAY INDICATION BOARD & RYB PHASE INDICATION BOARD A sign board in hindi laungauge ,depicting monogram of company and "madhya pradesh paschim kshetra vidyut vitran company ltd.Indore" Name of Substation /division /circle/location and maximum value of voltage in KVA rating of available equipment (like 33 kv ,2x5 MVA grid substation) in the substation should be provided in all substation.The sign board should be made of 2mm hick mild steel sheet ,65x65x8 mm MS equals angles for main supports having 3500 mm over all laying on length (1000 mm below ground level and 2500 above ground level),MS 35x35x5 mm equal angle for frame and MS 20x5 mm flat for support of CRCA sheet of mm thick over which name of substation and other detail will be depicted .The main support shall be grouted in400 x400 size piller and base plinth of 500x500x75 mm.Overall size of sign board will be 900x600 mm.The CRCA shall be painted with two coats of zinc oxide all around and thereafter two or more coates of base paints of approved shade and brand to be finalized in detailed engineering.As per enclosed drawing No.7

CONTROL ROOM & INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION WORK FOR CONTROL ROOM i) Foundation : R.C.C.column –footings foundation will be provided in M-20 grade concrete after excavation depth of 2.5 M or up to suitable strata.footings shall be rest on layer of cement concrete M-7.5 of 100 mm thickness.Plinth height of building shall be 450 mm or as per the direction of Engineer in charge,from existing concrete road level. R.C.C. plinth beams shall be provided in M-20 grade filling shall be done with available soil received from excavated stuff and remaining pit or under floor shall be done with hard moorum or sand or stone crusher dust well rammed and waterd in layers. R.C.C. floor slab is to be provided 100 mm thickness with reinforcement as per drawing & design.ii) Superstructure: Outer wall shall be 20 cm as per drawings with fly ash brick having crushing strength of more than 75 kg/cm2 in cement mortar (1:6) & Partition wall shall be 10 cm as per drawings with fly ash brisk having crushing strength of more than 75 kg/cm2 in cement mortar (1:4),reinforcement at every third course properly anchored as per specifications. The height of the building shall be 4.50 Metre from plinth level.iii) Flooring: 25 mm Thick Kota stone slab size 450 x 600 mm of stone flooring over 20mm (Average) thick base of C.M.1:4,ceramic glazed floor tile 300x300 mm or more(having thickness 9 to 10mm) of first quality conforming to IS :15622 and ceramic glazed wall tile 300x450 mm or more(having thickness 6 to 7mm) conforming to IS :15622 will be applicable as per approved make iv) R.C.C. Roof Slab: The Roof slab will be in C.C. M-20 grade having thickness 125 mm with 20mm and down graded hard crusher broken metal as per the approved design for Water Proofing Treatment over building 50 mm thick cement concrete grading with 1:2:4 the top of roof slab.v). Doors shutters : providing & fixing factory made 100% solid wood plastic composite (wpc) door frame for toilet door with 100% 24 thick plain solid pvc flush door shutter and remaining doors of control room MS profile sheet having 1.60 mm thick double rebate 115 x 50 mm frame, shall be 35 mm thick flush door shutter confirming to IS2202 part 2 Non decorative type of approved brand. vi). Windows and ventilators fully glazed ventilation of steel with 10 mm Sq. bar grill window of frame 35x35x5mm and shutter of steel M.S.angle 25 x 25 x3 mm & M.S. flat bracing 25 x3 mm with 5.50 mm thick plain glass and MS stoper,handels etc. vii). Plaster: The thickness of plaster shall be 12mm in 1:6 on smooth sides , 15 mm thick cement plaster on rough side of the brick masonry and 18mm thick cement Plaster in two coats outer side face of building. viii) Painting : The door and windows will be painted with two or more coats of superior quality enamel paint of including one coat of primer of approved make. Finishing Work: Applying Birla/J.K putty for masking the surface smooth, Ceiling and Walls shall be finished with two or more coats of oil-bound washable distemper.
