MPRDC SCHEDULE-A 2-laning of Baihar-Lamta road from design Ch. 0.00 to Ch.50.89 in the State of Madhya Pradesh A-1 SCHEDULE-A (See Clause 2.1 & 10.1) SITE OF THE PROJECT HIGHWAY 1 THE SITE 1.1 Site of the two laning Project Highway shall include the land, buildings, structures and road works as described in Annex-I of this Schedule-A. 1.2 The dates of handing over the Right of Way to the Contractor are specified in Annex- II of this Schedule-A. 1.3 An inventory of the Site including the land, buildings, structures, road works, trees and any other immovable property on or attached to the Site shall be prepared jointly by the Authority Representative and the Contractor and such inventory shall form part of the memorandum referred to in Clause 10.3.1 of this Agreement. 1.4 The proposed alignment plans of the Project Highway are specified in Annex-III which has to be followed by the Contractor as a minimum. The Contractor may, however, improve upon the alignment plans and profile and raised the finished roadway level (FRL) with approval from Authority Engineer within the available right of way (ROW). 1.5 The status of the environment clearances obtained or awaited is given in Annex IV. 1.6 The existing alignment of the Utilities along the project highway within the Right of Way with shifting plan is attached. The Utilities shifting shall be implemented as per Utility Shifting plan is given in Annex V. MPRDC SCHEDULE-A 2-laning of Baihar-Lamta road from design Ch. 0.00 to Ch.50.89 in the State of Madhya Pradesh A-2 Annex - I (Schedule-A) Site for Two-Lanning Note: Through suitable drawings and descriptions in words, the land, buildings, structures and road works comprising the site shall be specified briefly but precisely in this Annex-I. All the chainages/ locations referred to in Annex-I to Schedule-A shall be existing chainages. 1 The Site The site of the project highway starts from its junction with Balaghat - Chilpi Road (SH- 26) at Baihar Town, connecting Radatola, Khurmundi, Linga, Paraswada, Kumangaon and terminates at its junction with Balaghat - Nainpur road (NH) at Lamta village. Existing length of Project is 51.120 Km & design length is 50.890 Km. The land, carriageway and structures comprising the Site are described below. An Index Map of the Project Highway is given at Appendix I. 1.1 Referencing System Kilometer stones are existing in entire length of the project highway. It is called the “KM Stone”. The chainage of the existing centerline surveyed with Total Station is called “Existing Chainage”. The chainage of the proposed centerline is referred to “Design Chainage”. The relationship between the “KM Stone”, “Existing Chainage” and the “Design Chainage” with respect to the location of existing KM stones using the Total Station for the “Project Highway” is given at Appendix A-I. Total design length is 50.890 Km. 2 Land The Site of the Project Highway comprises the land (total of land already in possession in existing ROW & type of land use) as described in Annex-II. 3 Carriageway The existing highway has single lane carriageway in 5.120 Km, intermediate lane 8.900 Km, two lane in 36.550 Km and 2 X 5.5m divided carriageway in 0.550 Km length. Flexible pavement exists in 49.120 Km & rigid pavement exists in 2.000 Km length. The existing pavement is in fair condition. 4 Structures There are 2 no of major bridges, 5 nos. of minor bridges and 69 nos. of culverts (15 Slab culverts, 53 HPC & 1 VCW) in the existing alignment of the project road. The summary of existing major & minor bridges, slab & HPCs are shown in Table A-1.
