water proofing Treatment over roof of E&F type Qtr. at SGTPS Birsinghpur. Removing Deduction, dirt and all loose particles from the surface of the roof/ construction joints by scrapping and sand blasting method. Then Providing and applying modified polymer mortar to make the surface good, free from local depression / undulations and the level of the rain water pipes. Thereafter Providing and applying a coat of solvent based bitumen @ 3 to 5 squre meter per liter over the cleaned existing surface and 3 mm thick APP (Atactic Poly Propylene ) membrane, such as torch shield or super thermo layer equivalent over the primed surface and same shall be fixed firmed with the help of the gas burner including 100 mm over lapping at the joints in all directions if required ( No extra payment shall be made for over lapping ) .The joints shall be treated properly by heating and trawling to make the surface water tight. The treatment shall be provided on the existing rounding on vertical wall up to the required hight including the lap, end of the treatment shall be properly sealed by making the groove & packing the same as per the instructions of the Engineer- in- charge.

Painting with aluminium paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade two or more coats over app membrance as per the instructions of the Engineer- in- charge.
