Supplying at the site of work the Hot Dip Galvanized members for the missing members (if any) of Tower, Working Platform, Safety Cage, Ladder, Wave Guide Rack, Antennae Fixture etc. of required section, shape and size including Drilling Holes for fixing bolts etc. all in conformity with the approved drawings of BSNL and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge and shall be made out of primary source of structural steel of approved make: viz. SAIL, TISCO, RINL etc. NOTES: (a) All material shall be Hot Dip Galvanized. The fabrication & galvanizing shall be as per the relevant IS code. (b)Weight of each member supplied shall be taken for payment purpose. (c) The Rate includes the cost of all material and labour required for all the operations mentioned in the item including all carriage, taxes and other contingencies.

Checking & Tightening of all Nuts & Bolts of all sizes with TORQUE WRENCH by setting required torque to all components which includes Antenna fixtures, Carrier and Fastenings, Gantry, Cable Feeder Rack, Resting and Working Platforms along with Handrails, Wave Guide Rack, wave guide rack support, Ladders etc. including fixing all missing galvanized structural members, bolts, nuts, plain washers and spring washers etc. all complete as per approved drawing in all respect and as per the directions of Engineer- in-charge The item also includes providing and applying rust-removing solution or cutting the nuts / bolts where found necessary. NOTE-I: Rate includes cost of all operations involved in tightening of nuts, hoisting and fixing of missing structural members, nuts and bolts, including hire charges of tools, plants and machineries, Binoculars for inspection, insurance premium of labours etc. and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. The contractors has to supply Insurance Coverage Certificate of workers. Cost of Structural Members, Nuts, Bolts, Springs and Plain Washers required at the missing points shall be paid for separately.
NOTE-II: Where Tower maintenance work is to be carried out in habitant area, all necessary precautions shall be observed scrupulously so that there must not happen any mishap or else the agency shall be responsible solely for any type of damage to human, property, animals and Agriculture/trees in premises of working area.
NOTE-III: The Foundation Bolts & Nuts and Nuts & Bolts of Base Joints of Legs shall be enclosed by providing half brick masonry enclosure, filling sand, wrapping the nuts and bolts with polythene sheet and covering the entire enclosure with PCC and finishing the top surface with cement plaster etc. The payment of items of GROUTING shall be made in respective items separately.

Providing and fixing multi-strand high tensile GI stay wire rope of 6mm dia for anchoring and tightening the mast, one end of the stay wire should be connected to the mast at specified height and the other end should be anchored to RCC block with necessary one turn buckle in each rope fasteners, 'D' Shackle, clip, nut, bolts etc. complete as directed by the Engineer in charge.
