Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum turnover of the specified percentage of the advertised cost for the work, which is: - Road work: 33% of advertised cost for the work valuing up to 40.00Cr, and 40% of advertised cost for the work valuing more than 40.00Cr. - Bridge work: 33% of Advertised Cost. - Road & Bridge: 40% of Advertised Cost. - Building: 30% of Advertised Cost. - Other works: 40% of Advertised Cost. The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed similar nature of contract(s)/work(s) during the last five years, with specific percentages and values mentioned for different types of works. The experience of similar nature of work/contract claimed should be supported with the certificate of experience/Performance issued by a competent authority of the organization. The bidder should also have an average financial turnover of any three years out of the last five years, with the turnover indexed at the rate of 8% per year to bring it to the current price level. In case a project has been executed by a joint venture, weightage towards experience of the project would be given to each joint venture partner in proportion to their participation in the joint venture. Any State/Centrally Sponsored Project having been successfully completed in time during the last five years shall be given an enhancement factor of 5% per year from the date of completion of work. The bidder should have prior work experience of executing and completing or substantially completing successfully work(s) of similar nature, with a completion certificate issued by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. The bidder should have completed works of similar nature in the last five years, with a specific percentage of the advertised cost, as mentioned in the table "Ä" of the proposed contract/contracts applied. For road works, the bidder should have a turnover of 33% of advertised cost for the work valuing up to 40.00 Cr. The bidder should have in the last five years, achieved an average financial turnover on execution of Civil Engineering works, during any three out of the last five financial years, as per the value given under table “Ä” of the proposed contract/contracts applied. The bidder's experience in civil engineering works, with the maximum value of works executed in any one year during the last five years being a key factor, is used to calculate the available bid capacity using the formula: Available Bid capacity = (AxNxM-B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The value of existing commitments and on-going works, as well as the stipulated period of completion remaining for each of the works listed, should be provided, and the bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the total estimate cost of the works. For Joint Venture applicants, the lead partner should meet not less than 50% of the qualification criteria, and each junior partner should meet not less than 25% of the qualification criteria. The Joint Venture must collectively satisfy the criteria, with the relevant figures for each partner added together to arrive at the Joint Venture total capacity, which should be 100% or more. The bidder's available bid capacity should be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, and should be more than the total estimate cost of the works. The Joint Venture agreement should specify the extent of participation of each party in the JV, and the commitment of each party to furnish the bond money to the extent of their participation in the JV. The value of existing commitments and on-going works should be updated to the current price level, and the bidder's available bid capacity should be calculated based on this value.
