The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having executed works of similar nature in the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - For Road work: 33% of advertised cost for works valuing up to 40.00 Cr, and 40% of advertised cost for works valuing more than 40.00 Cr. - For Bridge work: 33% of Advertised Cost. - For Road & Bridge work: Should have either executed under separate contracts both Road & Bridge work up to the aggregate value of 33% of the total advertised cost for works valuing up to 40.00 Cr and 40% for works with advertised cost beyond 40.00 Cr, or should have executed both road and bridge work under one single contract at least 33% of the advertised cost of work. - For Building work: 25% of Advertised Cost, although in some cases it is 40% of Advertised Cost. - For Other works: 25% of Advertised Cost, although in some cases it is 40% of Advertised Cost. Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum turnover of the specified percentage of the advertised cost in any three out of the last five financial years, indexed at the rate of 8% per year to bring it to the current price level. The bidder should also have completed works of similar nature in the last five years, with a completion certificate issued by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. The bidder should have achieved an average financial turnover on execution of Civil Engineering works, with specific values and percentages mentioned for different categories of works, such as road works, where the bidder should have a turnover of 33% of advertised cost for the work valuing up to 40.00Cr. The bidder should have completed similar works, with a minimum value of 20% of the advertised cost for works valuing above 40.00Cr, and 33% for works valuing up to 40.00Cr. The available bid capacity is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the current price level, using the formula: Available Bid capacity = (AxNxM-B), where A = Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works, M = 2.5, B = Value of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next 03 years. The amount of Rs.15.00 Crores is mentioned as the threshold for works in J&K State, where Joint Venture is applicable. For Joint Venture, the lead partner should meet not less than 50% of the qualification criteria, and each of the remaining junior partners should meet not less than 25% of the qualification criteria. The Joint Venture must collectively satisfy the criteria, with the relevant figures for each partner added together to arrive at the Joint Venture total capacity, which should be 100% or more.
