S&F Continuous sandwich panels are single piece, prefabricated, modular, factory made units which consist of an insulating layer of rigid polyurethane foam between two layers of metal sheets. The panels comprise of PUF (90mm thick) bonded between two sheets of Pre-coated white colour GI sheets of 0.5 mm thick to produce straight-to-finish panels. Insulation core provides effective insulation and strong bonding for better structural stability to facilitate higher loading and wider spans. These panels are available for both wall and roof and Test Report of various tests carried out on 90mm thick PUF panel as per IS 12436:1988 complete all as specified and directed. 

All as per item no 04 above but except sheets complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 0.63 mm Galvanised, corrugated mild steel sheeting with two corrugations side lap, fixed with coach screws and washers and L-type or J-type or cranked hook bolts in lieu of screw in roofs, walls etc. with grade of zinc coating 275 etc complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item no 06 above but except sheets complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 0.80 mm GI Plain, galvanised, mild steel sheeting, in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashings (length and girth as fixed) with grade of zinc coating 275 and L-type or J-type or cranked hook bolts in lieu of screw in roofs, walls etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer as in camouflaging pattern, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Camouflaging pattern will be approved by the GE. (ii) Work shall be executed Upto 10 mtr high. (iii) All Safety measures for the safety of workmen shall be ensured by the contractor. Insurance of workers shall also be got done by the contractor before execution of work. This aspect shall also deemed to be included in the quoted rates and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (iv) Rate for use of scaffolding, ladders for execution of work is included in this item.

M&L Removing of old paint by paint removers or burning off by blow lamps and cleaning with scrapers any width or girth from metal wall/Roof surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer as in camouflaging pattern, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Camouflaging pattern will be approved by the GE. (ii) Work shall be executed Upto 10 mtr high. (iii) All Safety measures for the safety of workmen shall be ensured by the contractor. Dismantling Wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for like flat iron bracket etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Mild steel framed brackets of angles or tees with web and flanges cut to shape, drilled and countersunk for screw, including bending and welding angles, as necessary, gusset plates, riveting, etc. n exc 10kg each brackets, conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for erection and fixing only steel framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for taking down the Hangar door leaf’s (08 Nos) from its original position with proper safety measures complete all as specified and directed. Note: Quoted rates shall also be deemed to include necessary scaffolding/machineries required for taking down of door leafs from the frame work. 

M&L for dismantling of top and bottom wheel assembly from the door leaf (shaft with 04 Nos of wheel in each Leaf, total 32 Nos wheels per hangar complete) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for fixing of top and bottom wheel assembly to the door leaf (shaft with 06 Nos wheel per leaf fixed at top and bottom, total 48 Nos of wheels per hangar complete) complete all as specified and directed with comply the following requirements:- (i) Each door shall be supported at the bottom on three load wheels. The wheels are made of OD 300 with sealed ball bearing (make SKF) and self-lubricating. Each door is guided at top with three set heavy duty steel rollers. All wheels are welded or bolted to the door frame complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling and taking down of MS top and bottom frame work (MS Channel/ Angle Iron/MS FLAT etc complete structure under which the hangar door leaf moves) of hangar Doors complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1. The size and thickness of existing MS top and bottom frame should be noted during cutting / dismantling and same size and thickness should be ensured during fabrication as well as in designing of the same by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for design, fabrication, erection of MS Top and bottom frame (MS Channel/ Angle Iron/MS FLAT) for sliding doors including comply the following requirements:- (a) The structural steel members of frame and supporting structure shall be Grade Fe 410 W and yield strength of 250 Mpa. (b) All the items i.e. Structural steel, bolts, base plate, welding connections, Sliding track etc and erections etc are deemed to be included in the quoted rate for this item. (c) Bidders quoted rates are inclusive of necessary scaffolding and formwork required to execute the work. Therefore, this aspect shall be considered by the bidders before quoting the rates for this item. No claims whatsoever shall be entertained at the belated stage. (d) The design and drawing of MS top and bottom frame work should be vetted by IIT/NIT before fixing/ fabrication duly approved by GE.

All as per item no 19 above but except material complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The serviceable material retrieved from item No 18 as approved by Engineer-in-Charge shall be reused in this item.

M&L for dismantling, design, fabrication and erection of Top & Bottom Rails and including all civil works for rail foundation (demolition / reconstruction of RCC/PQC, form work and reinforcement work and fixing with necessary reinforcement, bolts and fasteners) including comply the following requirements:- (i) The structural steel member of Top and bottom rails should be as per design approved by IIT/NIT (of Grade Fe 410 W and yield strength of 250 Mpa). (ii) The preparation for the foundation of the sliding doors shall include appropriate design of the foundation with requisite concrete strength duly approved from IIT/NIT. (iii) Foundation of the gate structure shall be designed by the contractor for Safe Bearing Capacity values 12 Tonne/Sqm or the actual Safe Bearing Capacity values found on the ground and accordingly the quote rate for this item shall deemed to include this aspect also. SBC test as required for design of structure shall be got done by contractor from Govt. approved agency. The Foundation concrete shall be of design mix M-30 as per approved design of IIT/NIT. The reinforcement steel shall be of grade Fe 550 D as per approved design of IIT/NIT. (iv) The work shall be executed at a height of approx. 10 meter. Bidders quoted rates are inclusive of necessary scaffolding and formwork required to execute the work. Therefore, this aspect shall be considered by the bidders before quoting the rates for this item. No claims whatsoever shall be entertained at the belated stage. (v) The Foundation of hangar doors, track rails and supporting structure has to be laid by cutting the existing PQC available at site. The necessary repair/ reconstruction of Floor of hangar after casting of Foundation shall be done with pavement quality cement concrete of minimum Flexural Strength of 45 Kg per Sqcm in Field using 400 Kg of cement per Cubic meter (Design mix) laid with Mechanical paver (Min depth 350mm) as specified and as per design, consolidated in bays to required gradient and camber including necessary steel form work and provision of suitable track rails as per design, complete all as required and specified/ directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (a) If any thing missed out, but required at site for operation/ smooth functioning of doors ( Channel, angle, flat iron, ms rails, bolts, fasteners etc) should be included in above item and also deemed to be included in quoted rates of this item. (b) The design of Hanger door related work shall be done through specialized PEB/ Hanger door manufacturer as approved by E-in-C’ branch. (c) The design of Hanger door related work shall be vetted from any IIT/NIT and shall be approved by Accepting Officer through GE before execution of work on ground.

M&L for erection of Hangar Door (8 leaf per hangar) and aligning with Top and bottom rail and securing it with proper safety measures complete all as specified and directed with comply the following requirements:- (i) Gates shall be installed on structure constructed independent of existing structure so that load of structure is not transferred to old structure. Any damage done to existing structure shall be got repaired by contractor to the same existing specifications without any extra cost to the Govt. (ii) Bidders quoted rates are inclusive of necessary scaffolding and machineries required to execute the work. Therefore, this aspect shall be considered by the bidders before quoting the rates for this item. No claims whatsoever shall be entertained at the belated stage.

M&L for removing of motors with gear drives (complete assembly) and supply, installation, commissioning and testing new motors with complete drive assembly (gear boxes/drive wheels with all accessories) etc for hanger comprising of 08 leaves, bi-directional operational with minimum capacity of 3HP (total 04 nos motors for operational of 8 leaves with complete drive assembly in each hangar) as required for a hangar door complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for removing of old control panel with cable and assembly for motor and supply, installation, commissioning and testing new control panel in-door type made up of 1.6mm thick MS/CRCA sheet and base frame/mounting arrangement at extreme end of hangar door with relevant IS for each motor in each hangar for operation of bi-directional hangar door motor with and including insulated copper conductor cable suitable size and length 1100V, ISI marked for 3HP motor with necessary arrangement for travelling of cable with motor in each hangar door and proper electric connection from existing source of supply (Main LT panel) and including connecting with earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Control panel mounting arrangement at extreme end of hangar door in side hangar are included in the quoted rates. (b) Complete insulated copper cable of suitable size and length 1100V, ISI marked with existing source of supply to control panel with necessary arrangement for travelling of cable with motor are included in the quoted rate. (iii) Provision of manual operation push button for emergency stop of motor is also included in the quoted rate. (iv) Necessary arrangement for stop the operation of hangar door by hand is also included in the quoted rate. (v) The system shall have by pass arrangement for operation of hangar door manually in case of power failure is also included in the quoted rate. (vi) All safety arrangement shall be provided for safe operation of the hangar door as per manufacturer guideline/extant guideline. (vii) Any thing missed out above but required for smooth functioning/operation of hangar motorized assembly system is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. No deviation order for additional item/cost shall be admissible.

Material & labour, Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6.00mm thick, burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25m below normal ground level, with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded by 15cm thick and packed alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt, connected with and including earth lead of GI wire 4mm dia (8 SWG) by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to main switch board and protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 15mm dia bore including watering pipe 20mm dia bore GI medium grade (ISI marked) with funnel and wire mesh, including all necessary excavation and earth work, PCC chamber in plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 and pit cover of presast RCC with MS frame etc and all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Sch Part-I (2009) including dismantling of old, complete all as specified and directed. Note(s) :- (i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM not less than 4Kg/Sqm. (ii) PCC chamber shall be constructed 500 mm away from the edge of earth pit. (iii) Rate shall include earth lead and protection pipe of length 7.5m, excess beyond 7.5m length required at site shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Earth resistance should be less than 3 Ohm. In case the test results are not found below 3Ohm, complete earthing will be redone without any extra cost to Govt.

Note : Schedule of credit for Rs. 4,81,800.00 to be deducted on acceptance of bid.
