The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in Eligible projects, with specific requirements for different categories. For normal Highway projects, the bidder should have completed at least one similar work of 20% of the Estimated project cost, with a value of at least Rs. 1.174 Crore. For specialized projects, such as Major Bridge/ROB/Flyover projects, the bidder should have completed at least one similar project in the last 10 financial years, with a span equal to or greater than 50% of the longest span of the structure proposed in the project, or 100m, whichever is less, and a cost of at least 20% of the Estimated project cost or Rs. 1000 Cr., whichever is less. For tunnel projects, the bidder should have completed at least one tunnel project in the last 10 financial years, with at least 50% of the cross-sectional area of the tunnel to be constructed, or the cross-sectional area of a 2-lane highway tunnel, whichever is less, and 20% of the length of the tunnel to be constructed, or 2 km, whichever is less, and a cost of at least 20% of the Estimated project cost or Rs. 1000 Cr., whichever is less. A project is considered completed if more than 90% of the value of work has been completed, and the completed value of work is equal to or more than the specified percentage of the Estimated project cost. The specified percentages and values are: - 20% of the Estimated project cost - Rs. 1.174 Crore - 90% of the value of work - 20% of the Estimated project cost or Rs. 1000 Cr., whichever is less - 50% of the cross-sectional area of the tunnel - 20% of the length of the tunnel or 2 km, whichever is less - 26% equity - 5% of the amount specified as the Estimated project Cost - one half of the project Cost of eligible projects - Rs. 29.35 Lakh - 5 financial years immediately preceding the BID Due Date. The bidder should also provide information on the entity for which the project was constructed, location, project cost, date of commencement of project/contract, and date of completion/commissioning. The total payments received and/or revenues appropriated for self-construction for each Eligible Project are to be stated, with a break-up for the past 5 financial years. The bidder should provide the estimated capital cost of the Eligible project and the year-wise payments received for construction or work executed. The bidder is required to have prior work experience in construction of Eligible projects, with a sum total of payments received or construction works undertaken by itself in a PPP project, adjusted in accordance with certain clauses, being more than Rs. 4.41 Crore.
