The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the estimated cost of the contract work. For contracts valued above Rs. 10 Cr and up to Rs. 50 Cr, the bidder should have specific personnel with experience, including a Graduate Engineer or Diploma holder with a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in Highway or bridge construction, a Quality Control Engineer, and a Survey Engineer. For contracts valued above Rs. 50 Cr, the bidder should have personnel with more extensive experience, including a Graduate Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience, including 3 years as a Project Manager, and other engineers with similar experience. Regarding similar works, the bidder should have completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work (with three similar works), 50% (with two similar works), or 80% (with one similar work) in the last seven and current financial years. Similar works refer to the execution of specific types of work, such as Surfacing Work with Paver Finisher, HMP / WMM Plant. Substantially completed works are those that are 90% completed on the date of submission, based on the original contract price. The Available Bid Capacity (ABC) should be more than the estimated cost of work, calculated using a specific formula. The required percentages of similar works completed are 40%, 50%, or 80% of the estimated cost of the current work, depending on the number of similar works completed. The amount of similar works completed can be one work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost, two works costing not less than 50%, or three works costing not less than 40%.
