Fabrication and Replacement of damaged cable trays/ supports of different dimensions using MS angles, channels, flats etc. of different sizes and erecting them after painting by welding/ grouting to steel structures/ pillars/ walls etc. as per the instruction of Engineer in charge. Note: Angles and flat required will be given by FACT at free of cost and structural materials as above shall be supplied by contractor at his cost. All other items required for the work such as welding set with welding rods, gas cutting sets with gas, cleaning brush, painting brush, cement and sand for grouting work etc. shall be arranged by the Contractor. The Contractor shall also arrange for application of one coat of epoxy primer followed by two coats of epoxy finish paint in two different colours on the fabricated trays, after cleaning of the trays (the rate quoted shall include the rate for supply and application of required quantity of primer, thinner and finish paint). The Contractor shall ensure that no cables get damaged while dismantling the old trays/ erecting the new trays.

Fabrication and erection of Aluminium ladder type cable trays of width 65cm/40cm/30cm/20cm using Aluminium angles of size 50x50x6mm and erection in wall / supports in the Fert-UC acid and phosphate plants. Aluminium flat of size 50 x 8 mm shall be provided as rungs at regular intervals of 500mm by fastening them to the main angles with M8 bolts and nuts. The erection of the fabricated rack shall be done by fastening them on MS supports with M10 bolts and nuts. The materials for the fabrication of cable trays including the fasteners is under the scope of FACT.
